The Gardens at Bethlehem Farm is a beautiful and flourishing wedding venue located in Rising Sun, MD. Less than an hour from downtown Baltimore, this Cecil County property provides a relaxed and rural setting for wedding festivities. You can make this picturesque locale the backdrop for a truly remarkable celebration.
The Gardens at Bethlehem Farm has a variety of down-to-earth outdoor and indoor event spaces where you can hold your proceedings. You can wed outdoors by the willow tree or at the gazebo, which overlooks fields and meadows. Many couples choose to exchange their vows indoors, on the top level of the 1800s wooden barn. This setting allows a backdrop of a woodland area through 16-foot-wide doors with windows. The staff can also open these doors fully for maximum ventilation and a broader landscape viewing angle. This property provides abundant indoor and outdoor wedding photography opportunities, with rustic stonework, charming original wood, and scenic landscapes. The reception area has a hand-crafted chandelier, along with draping and lighting. Wooden shutters down both sides of this area can be opened to allow the outdoors to come in. Up to 200 guests may be seated here to enjoy a celebratory meal.
The Gardens at Bethlehem Farm can host single-faith, multi-faith, and non-religious wedding ceremonies, including elopements. These premises also accommodate commitment ceremonies, second weddings, and vow renewal ceremonies. I seriously cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They also had great recommendations for other vendors which was incredibly helpful. My husband and I couldn’t be happier that we picked TGBF as our wedding venue and will cherish the memories made there forever. We highly recommend this venue to all couples!

The bridal suite is so beautiful and the layout so perfect for makeup and hair artists. We loved how guests could easily move in and outside during the cocktail hour and reception. There was a large field where the children could run and play, which was great. We got so many comments on the beautiful venue and could not have been happier with the evening. We got the venue for 12 hours, which was the perfect amount to get ready there (without having to start at the crack of dawn) and to have our ceremony, reception, and then dance the night away! The venue came with Marta, a wedding planner (I reviewed her separately under her business, but she is amazing too!) and that was such a great deal. Our day went a lot smoother with all the helping hands! Marta had some decor that we could use, and we purchased a few personalized items with our last name, but we really didn't need much because the venue already had a lot of beautiful decorations in place. This was a huge time and money saver! This venue was everything we had pictured for our day, gorgeous, rustic, we really felt special and loved all day long. Highly recommend everything about this venue!!

They provided a list of vendors they have worked with before and that made planning a wedding in less than 4 months pretty easy. Marta was so great with making sure our contacts with vendors were good and made the day of less stress. We got married 29 October 2021 during the Nor’Easter and Tim, Linda, and Marta made sure the bride, groom, and parents did not get wet! Even with tons of rain our wedding was beautiful and a dream!

No rain was on the radar that day and as soon as we started the walk towards the barn it started lightly raining.. then it started to pick up.. Linda and her staff were waiting there with clear umbrellas reassuring us all will be well. It POURED through our ceremony. As soon as we said our vows and went to head down the aisle together, the sun began to come out! It was literally PERFECT. We were able to do family portraits in the barn and the rest of our photos in the driveway in front of the trees and landscaping. They turned out awesome!
The barn accommodated about 100 people for our wedding and 90% of them were dancing by the end of the night with no problems at all! It was better than I could have imagined!

Over the next year and a half, Linda kept in touch with us either by email or text. And any time we wanted to see the progress of the renovations on the barn, they opened the door for us to come by and see it! They day of our wedding, they were both up early in the morning helping us set up and being there to guide our vendors and guests on where they needed to be. My husband and I asked them to join us at our rehearsal dinner and asked them to stay for the ceremony. We have developed a lasting friendship with both of them. loved her and spent several hours in her kitchen. By the end of the evening, we were crying and hugging (yes, seriously, this happened). Our vision was to have our ceremony under a willow tree with hanging lanterns, and let me tell you--this venue does not disappoint. From the amazing gardens with >6 foot tall lilies, to the newly-renovated lower barn with twinkle lights and a beautiful bar area, to the breathtaking views from the renovated upper barn, to the incredibly elegant and girly bridal suite upstairs and immaculate groom's suite downstairs, this venue has **everything**. Our guests are raving about how unique and beautiful the venue was. But the real starsof the show are Linda and her family. They were wonderful to work with and communicated with us nonstop, even when we moved out of state --and I was panicking that the wedding would never come together. They took care of everything and made the day magical. My maid of honor even had a major wardrobe malfunction, and Linda fixed it herself!! I cannot express our gratitude to Linda and her family for the wedding of our dreams. Please do not hesitate to set up a meeting with her and to see this venue.
