The Gardens at West Green

They were amazing. The venue is beautiful itself and flows so nicely. If you are having a smaller wedding with 60 people or fewer this is the place for you.

My wedding was perfect. Karen, the owner, helped in so many ways it was incredible. we didn't have a wedding planner but Karen made sure that all venders did good job and helped us rehearse the wedding so the ceremony went perfect. I'm so glad I had my wedding here and the price is unbeatable. The venue was clean, well maintained and easy to find. Even the bathrooms were clean. i recommend everyone do their wedding or other events here. :)

The venue was perfect. So many of our guest said they had never been to a more beautiful venue, we loved the owner Karen she helped and made the day flawless! Layout of the venue was perfect for what we wanted and making our guest feel so included!

Beautiful venue for a small wedding! Highly recommend if you plan to do a smaller wedding, like we did. I think we had about 20 people, but the venue allows up to 60-ish guests before charging more. The owner was always available to answer our questions, and was willing to work with our timeline no-problem.

I originally selected this venue 2 years ago when it was beautiful and lush. Construction next door began, which is out of their control, and our wedding had to be rescheduled for personal reasons. But once I called, and called, and called and finally got Karen Little to return my phone call she explained that more construction would begin and I explained to her that after numerous attempts to contact her via email, text, and repeated voicemails, and due to the condition of the venue I would need a full refund for the $2,000 I paid. That was in October 2014...... still not a single response from her. I will call her every day for the rest of her life, just like a debt collector, until I see my money. I am not donating to charity here, I was supposed to have a wedding and as a result all my plans have been SCREWED! And google states they are now permanently closed, which is not surprising. I'll go to war. If zero stars were a rating thats what Id give it.

The venue is lovely, but not worth the money only to use a small piece of land surrounded by loud construction. The venue does not provide a sufficient back up plan in the event it rains and you will be charged additional money to use their tents. You will receive no help from the owner of the property and it will be difficult to even get in touch with her. She does not answer the phone and will take weeks to reply to emails. I was truly disappointed in the professionalism of the vendor and I strongly urge other brides to look elsewhere. San Antonio is huge and offers a variety of other venues that are more professional and willing to help inexperienced brides plan their special day.

The Gardens at West Green is a great venue to host a small wedding - we had about 60 guests and it was perfect. The location is great (just north of La Cantera)and it is a beautiful setting. Karen was wonderful with helping to recommend vendors, and with acting as our wedding planner. If you're looking for a venue to have the ceremony and reception, outdoors, with less than 100 guests, this is definitely the best place for the value. We also were able to have our dogs included in the ceremony and reception - very happy with our choice to have our wedding at the Gardens at West Green!

We chose this venue, not only because of how absolutely gorgeous it is, but we liked that we could bring in any caterers and vendors we wanted. From the second we walked into The Gardens, we knew it was the right choice for our venue. Now I cannot have imagined our wedding anywhere else. The venue is well kept, magically beautiful, and in my opinion, the best in San Antonio. I loved spending the day getting ready with my bridesmaids in the fancy bride’s room. And I especially loved watching guests arrive from the window and seeing their faces light up when they saw how breathtaking the venue is. Karen went above and beyond my expectations and definitely helped make everything perfect. When my cake was leaning and the glass on my seating chart broke, Karen approached me with a soothing tone, and helped keep me calm about it, while graciously fixing it. She helped line up our wedding party and told the little ring bearer and flower girl when to walk. I was very impressed with her patience, professionalism, and her great talent for weddings. Thank you so much for making our special day even more memorable. I will definitely recommend The Gardens at West Green to future brides.

The Coordinator was awesome and took on many more responsibilities than we could ever ask for.

The setting here is absolutely beautiful! If you are a total DIY bride I would book here. But if you want/need any sort of help planning I would choose somewhere else. Karen is very nice and helpful but literally all the planning is up to you. After all was said and done, I'm extremely pleased with how everything turned out. But, the price seems a little high considering all you get is the space. But it really was beautiful.

Ignore my wedding date profile, my wedding was actually 10-8-11. If you do not mind having no indoor facility, this venue is gorgeous. Karen was a delight. She was very upfront and honest. When it rained on my wedding date, she let us use all of her tents, put us in contact with a tent rental company we could afford, AND went and bought additional tents when they were needed! She went above and beyond, running around in the rain organizing everything to make sure our wedding day was beautiful, and it was! There are pretty rooms for bm and gm to get ready in. I loved watching out the window as all my guests arrived. I highly recommend this place.

Searching for a venue was easy after I found the Gardens at West Green. The venue is BEAUTIFUL and the cost is very reasonable. Karen is a super sweet lady who will help you with any questions and concerns you have for your big day. I wouldn't have chosen any other place!

Let me first start off by saying this venue is absolutely gorgeous, the scenery is great and it has a romantic feel to it. However, I was very disappointed with the staff. I had met with the lady in charge and we were so excited to book the place but she told us to wait because they would be having some specials within the next month. So we waited but it turns out that they totally switched their pricing and amount of guests, we were so mad because they refused to honor the original price we discussed. And let me say the pricing was almost like $500 more and it only had half the amount of guests we were expecting. I have to say the staff were very unprofessional and I'm glad I didn't book my wedding with The Gardens of West Green.

This place was awesome and totally worked with our style and our budget. They run really good specials and will do everything you ask them to. They are very flexible and caring and made my day perfect! I even had some wedding crashers and that didn't ruin the night for me! I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to be forced to use on site vendors. Beautiful, elegant, and affordable! I am so happy with my choice!
