The Gathering LLC 1850 Wedding Barn Venue

The Gathering LLC 1058 Lincoln Rd. Allegan, MI 49010 We just renovated a 54’ x 19’ attached space in the barn that we originally used for storage space. We added 3 sliding barn doors with a 34’ opening for fresh air to come in the main part of the barn. We also just added an outdoor 34’ patio to dance under the stars. We moved in the 1925 bar. The barn originally was built in 1850. It was turned into a golf course/restaurant in 1925 and then it closed in 2010. We purchased the property in 2015 and started renovations. We opened in 2016. A one hour rehearsal is included or you may upgrade to a two hour rehearsal and use our rehearsal room. It is available to rent to bring in your own rehearsal dinner for up to 40 people. If you choose to have alcohol, we only use one bartending company, The Liquor Cabinet. Anything unopened is refunded. You can reach them at liquorcabinetevents@gmail.com Our son Brandon is a DJ and does about half of our weddings each year along with many other wedding venues. He is also the Central Michigan University DJ. Brandon mixes the music live on site seamlessly from the best part of one song to another song. You can reach Brandon at bookmeiste@gmail.com he would be happy to do your event at another location too. You may also gladly bring in your own DJ as well. Other services include: Rental time is from 10 AM - 11 PM plus time to pack up after There is no extra charge for your ceremony and no event insurance needed We are open mid April through the 3rd weekend in November. For Friday events, you may decorate for 2 hours on Thursday afternoon, then we have the rehearsals after. We have a 50 foot furnace in the barn. Number of guests are 225 people including the wedding party Handmade Amish tables and chairs You may bring in your own insured food caterer Pond with fountain 2 Dance floors Outdoor wedding chapel with bell tower and chapel windows. Large covered porch with fireplace to have appetizers on Paved parking lot Two indoor bathrooms with two stalls each Air-conditioned get-ready rooms Covered porch with gas fireplace Down payment is $1,500 We are so very grateful for you considering our venue and to be a part of all of our couples special day. giant white barn where the receptions take place is beautifully decorated with golden toned lights, chandeliers and beautifully made Amish tables. Guests were in awe with how gorgeous the venue is. Phyllis, Melanie, and Amy were a dream to work with and Amy made sure our wedding day happened with ease with absolutely no problems or hiccups. The ladies at the Gathering were professional, caring, kind and overall just amazing at making sure your wedding day with them is perfect. The most gorgeous venue with a team of women that make you feel like family. Thank you Phyllis for everything you have done to provide the most perfect venue to get married at!

barn would be uncomfortable, but the fan system does an excellent job keeping the space cool. One of my favorite parts of booking the space was that for a reasonable additional fee, you can do an unlimited rental of the table and ceremony space decorations that the venue owns. The venue owner's son Brandon is also an excellent DJ. He knows the venue space very well and did an excellent job keeping the music flowing all night. I highly recommend booking him, especially if you book this venue.
