We had a great experience with The Gatsbys for our June 2022 wedding. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering hiring them. Aside from being incredibly nice, profession...
al, and responsive, they are very talented and were able to tailor the music they played to the feel we were going for at various points of the evening. They even had their guitarist move to a different location than originally planned for our dinner which had to be moved at the last minute due to wind so that we wouldn't be without music for that part of the day. Everyone loved their music and we loved working with them.
The Gatsbys did a great job for our wedding and were extremely quick to respond to any questions that we had leading up to our big day. They kept the energy going on our dance floo...
r and we would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a live band/DJ combo.
I cannot adequately say in words how magical The Gatsbys made our wedding celebration! They brought natural talent, musicality, and class and such an authentically cool feeling to ...
the whole day. It was dreamy on all accounts and I loved every second of it. I only wish I could have spent more time listening to them play. Having them play a special number my dad concocted was just pure delight and joy. Thank you a thousand times!!
I am so pleased with the quality of all of our vendors that we chose for our wedding, and The Gatsby's are no exception! They were kind, fun, responsive, AFFORDABLE!, and SO flexib...
le with what we wanted music-wise. They learned a song for us that they sang, they learned an acoustic melody for me to walk down the aisle to, and they even sang happy birthday for one of our wedding guests. They were able to adapt to my last-minute scheduling change, and they were willing to move locations throughout the venue during the wedding evening. I could not recommend this band more, nor could our guests who told us how much they enjoyed all the live music. If you're like us and you're looking for an affordable live music option, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Grant and the Gatsby's! Thank you so much, guys! :)
These guys were fantastic! They played really great music and were accomodating to our venue. We would 100% recommend them to anyone in the SLC/Park City area.
The Gatsbys were an incredible band. We could not have found a more perfect group for my daughters wedding at Under Canvas in Moab. They were very professional in every way. They p...
rovided the perfect vibe for our wonderful outdoor reception. They have a very cool sound and look. The perfect accompaniment to this wonderful setting. You helped make my daughters dream come true! Thank you!
You will not regret hiring The Gatsbys. Firstly, their professionalism is standout. When planning a wedding, it takes so much stress off to have vendors who communicate promptly an...
d clearly. They were friendly and helpful from the initial inquiry all the way through our wedding day.
Secondly, they are super talented. Their song list included tracks that everyone at our wedding loved. At the reception, I constantly had guests coming up to me to (1) congratulate me on my marriage, and (2) rave about how good the music is. I honestly wish our reception was longer so we could have listened to them play more! We loved their sound.
I work in the wedding industry myself, so I've seen a lot of different types of vendors. The Gatsbys are truly top tier, and I cannot wait to recommend them to my future clients. If you're looking for awesome musicians who are super easy to work with, look no further.
The Gatsbys were so amazing to work with and made our wedding day so special! They have a large selection of songs and even were open to suggestions. They were also able to DJ a fe...
w songs during the reception so we really felt like we had the best of both worlds. They play everything from calm relaxed tunes, to clever covers of popular songs, to fun dance music. I can’t recommend them
Enough!
My friend recommended this band to us. We weren’t sure if we wanted to get a band. We debated spending the money and, weren’t sure if anyone would dance or even notice. But, we wer...
e so glad that we did! Everyone was dancing and, enjoying the music. The guys were reasonably priced and, very professional. We’ve had so many people tell us how much fun they had at our wedding and, I think a lot of that had to do with the band we chose. Thanks guys!!
We had a bad winter storm and some icy roads leading to our reception venue, but The Gatsbys came on time and filled the place with the warmth and ease of their music, putting ever...
yone else at ease too and made mingling, chatting, lingering and dancing so enjoyable. I had SO many people ask me about the wedding band after. I love their easy Indy style and their takes on classics were universally loved. Would absolutely recommend!
We had an absolute blast at our wedding in Moab with The Gatsbys. Everything was done outdoors to maximize our experience against the beautiful backdrop and the great outdoors, and...
they managed to help make it feel cozy and intimate. Our guests were from all over the world and they all loved the music they played and the incredible atmosphere that their performance brought to the evening. From the beautifully strummed songs at our ceremony to the lovely music over dinner to the electric vibe they instilled at the after party, they felt the occasion and crowd and complemented it perfectly. They selected songs that fit the mood and those on the dance floor at any given time throughout the night - when my 5-year old niece came out to dance, they did a couple numbers specially for her and kept the momentum going. On planning overall, we had some fairly late stage adjustments to the game plan and they were very accommodating, quick in correspondence and really helped make the day headache free for us. Coming from Hong Kong, many people opt for destination weddings to take a break from the bright lights of the city so we've seen many different styles for many different types of weddings and can confidently say The Gatsbys were perfect for the occasion and you would highly recommend them to anyone lucky enough to book them.
Booking the Gatsby's was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Grant was extremely communicative from day one, keeping us posted on timelines and expectation...
s. The band even learned a special song for our first dance which was a big hit with the crowd.
They were willing to work with us to provide acoustic music for our ceremony, helped out with amps and microphones, emceed our events and were able to get our shy crowd dancing all night. They can definitely roll with the punches, like when my sister decided to jump up and start singing with them at last call!
We had a blast working with the Gatsbys for our event. The music was great, they played a ton of our favorite songs. Most of the postive feedback we got on our wedding was about how amazing the band was. You will not regret booking the Gatsbys for your wedding!
If you’ve stumbled across or have been led to The Gatsbys - consider yourself VERY LUCKY! They played at my Welcome Dinner and they brought SUCH an amazing vibe to the entire eveni...
ng! They are amazing musicians who can read the crowd and keep a smooth transition going. ON TOP OF THAT, they are really kind and cool guys! I felt listened to and taken care of by them the entire time we worked together :) Would recommended 10 out of 10 times, every time.
The music these guys played for our wedding was SO GOOD! They played for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing and they were good at all of it; we received so many compliments o...
n the music from our guests. They played music I actually listen to, rather than music my parents listen to, like so many other wedding bands (no offense, parents!). The Gatsbys provided the perfect ambiance for our mountain ranch wedding and had everyone dancing. On top of that, they were incredibly responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process.
The Gatsbys are wonderful! They were so easy to work with from start to finish and you can tell they love what they do! They took the time to learn our song which made our whole ev...
ening! They're down to earth and awesome guys that made our wedding exactly what we were hoping for - thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I can't recommend The Gatsby's enough! They were SO great for kicking off the first day of our 3-day glamping, music festival wedding in Moab, UT! First off, Grant was extremely ea...
sy to communicate with throughout the planning process (we were planning our wedding from Los Angeles so we were not able to meet our vendors in person) and we were so grateful for that! They showed up early with huge smiles on their handsome faces and even helped my husband and our crew with the remaining bits of decor set-up as we were running slightly behind! They are so sweet and so much fun! Their song choices and chill-yet-upbeat musical vibe were the perfect way to set the tone for our whole wedding weekend. We love these guys so much!
The evening was perfect for our outdoor wedding and the decorations turned out amazing, but our wedding would not have been as beautiful and memorable without music and dancing to ...
bring everyone together. The Gatsby's did an incredible job of creating a fun, relaxing mood that all of our friends and family, young and old, enjoyed. In fact, most people stayed until the end of the reception because they had such a great time. If you want a quality, professional, and easy-to-work-with band for your wedding, the Gatsby's are definitely the way to go!
When all was said and done, it was our wedding band that truly defined the night and had people talking. The Gatsbys are amazingly talented and had our guests dancing like crazy. O...
ne thing I love about the Gatsbys is how versatile they are... they can play as a string trio for your ceremony, then play awesome background music for dinner, then rock the house when it's time for dancing. Book them -- they are awesome!
These guys are awesome! They are great at getting people to dance and playing songs everyone will enjoy. Everyone who was at the wedding still talks about them. They'll play for th...
e ceremony and reception! They'll even "DJ" with an ipod for songs you want played and they can't. Seriously this band will make your wedding/reception so much fun!!!
