What made it even more frustrating is that it wasn’t a hot day—77 degrees, cloudy, and honestly perfect weather. There’s no reason the flowers should have fallen apart that quickly. Haley had bought flower preservation materials in hopes of saving her bouquet as a keepsake, but it was in no condition to preserve by the end of the evening. We were so excited to keep our wedding flowers forever. We had high expectations and were really let down—especially on such an important day. Unfortunately, we’re now left without a memento from our wedding, and that’s something we can’t get back.
