Kate did a fabulous job on all of our bridesmaids! We had a big group of typically bare-faced girls and each one felt beautiful and comfortable in their makeup. The hair looked fab...
too! I felt like a princess.
I expected there to be two people on site for hair and makeup, so that caught me a bit off guard, but Kate was able to fit us all in on time anyway all by herself.
Kate, the primary in the Tecas location, was nothing short of amazing. She was patient with all my questions during the consult phase and, for someone who stays as busy as she does...
, responded promptly to any questions I had. She was incredibly kind to me and everyone who had their hair done. She was even patient enough to redo one of the flower girl's hair after she changed her mind about what she wanted.
She traveled to our venue, worked quickly, finished ahead of schedule, and the results were so beautiful. She did my hair and makeup and just completely knocked it out of the park, even without us having a trial. It lasted all night and then some.
Thanks so much Kate!
Kate was so awesome on my wedding day! She worked extremely fast and everyone looked beautiful. My makeup lasted ALL DAY and it looked absolutely stunning. I am so happy I hired Ka...

cessories I needed and she went above and beyond the entire time. She is so easy to talk to, work with, and I highly highly recommend. She stuck around and was super patient and attentive until everything was 100% settled and it was time for me to go. My bridesmaids all loved their hair as well. She is the BEST!
This Girls Beauty Shop is amazing! She was fun, fast, knowledge, and extremely accommodating to changes that came up! I will definitely be using her in the future.
Kate & her team were soooo amazing!!! They were so laid back and fun to be around while getting glammed up, and did such an amazing job on all my bridesmaids + family. Everyone was...
so happy with their hair & make up!! Their photographed so beautifully, and literally stayed on all night perfectly. I was so happy with my bridal hair & make up, and could not ask for anything better. I highly highly recommend using Kate & her team on your big day!
Kate and her team did amazing. They arrived on time, worked efficiently but were not cold or all business; we had fun while they were glamming us up! Kate even helped me when I had...
a mild panic attack regarding how dark my brows turned out; she was very understanding and fixed them exactly the way I wanted - I know that sounds like a no-brainer, but I felt bad asking her to change them; she could tell that I wasn't happy and fixed them without me having to ask. I really appreciate her paying attention to my reaction and working with me.
They were AMAZING! All of our hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted and Kate worked with me with all the date changes and all the challenges we faced during covid.

I loved Kate! I found her through Portable Powder Room and couldn’t be more pleased with everything she was able to accomplish! She works so efficiently and her work is beautiful! ...
I had my hair trial with her prior to the wedding and just knew I didn’t have to worry about my hair! Thank you so much for hanging out with all my goofy bridesmaids and creating incredible updos.
Kate was awesome! As an out of town bride, I was nervous coming down and doing the trial only a few days before the wedding but I was so relieved once I met Kate! She is so sweet a...
nd listened to exactly what I wanted and everything turned out perfect! She did hair and makeup for myself, 4 bridesmaids and my mother in law and everyone loved their hair and makeup! I also think it's important to note that we were on-time, if not ahead of schedule, the whole day! Kate fit right in with our group and it was like having another friend there.
The Girls Beauty Shop was WONDERFUL to work with! My mom and mother in law both looked absolutely stunning and natural. My bridesmaids all had up-dos and make up done, and Katie wa...
s able to bring out their individual styles and personalities while keeping them all within the same theme. It was a Cinderella themed wedding, and she made my hair and make up match the Princess look I wanted, without me having any idea what direction to give her. Every Bride deserves to look beautiful and feel like a star on her wedding day, and Katie made us all feel beautiful and comfortable. (She was also able to keep me excited without allowing me to get nervous, which is always a plus!) 100% recommend them to all brides!
Kate was perfect. I totally recommend her. I showed her a couple pictures of what I wanted and my hair and makeup came out exactly how I expected. She was on time and everyone lo...
ved her. Thanks for making me look fab on my wedding day!
The Girls (we used the LA team) were responsive and easy to book. We booked the trial very close to the wedding and they went above and beyond to find a stylist (Dominique C) that...
was more local to us so we wouldn't have to drive too far (We are in L.A.). I highly recommend doing a trial because we were able to try a couple looks and see how I felt in more makeup than I usually wear. The trial prepared me for my wedding day makeup and allowed me to get comfortable with my stylist.
On the wedding day, Dominique was able to take care of four hairstyles and two full hair and makeup styling on her own, while staying on schedule. My bridesmaids all loved their hairstyles and felt very glamorous. My hair and makeup stayed all day and night through eating, wind, and lots of dancing. Thanks so much!
We had The Girls team out in California. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Shauna and Dominique for doing hair and makeup for my wedding. They did my 6 bridesma...
ids, MOG, MOB and 2 flowergirls! Which was not an easy feat! They met us at the venue on time and set up so quickly. I was impressed with how fast they worked. They were even ahead of schedule. It made for such a stress-less day! Shauna and Dom worked so well together. They were personable, laughing and joking with everyone! They even did hair and makeup for my 8 and 5 year old nieces. The little girls looked so cute! Shauna did such age appropriate makeup and they looked adorable. I could see on their faces that they absolutely loved getting their hair and makeup done! I could not be happier with my choice to use TheGirls. All the communication I had with Shauna before the big day was replied to quickly and all my questions were answered. Thank you so much Shauna and Dom!

't 100% comfortable with the hair style. After trying some other styles for my shower and such I brought photos the day of my wedding of what I wanted and she knocked it out of the park. I also felt very much like myself in my makeup. All of our hair seemed to hold up fairly well and her and her assistant did touch ups on anyone that needed them before the ceremony started. All of the hair and makeup looked beautiful while still accenting each girls best features and capturing their individual style. She was the most affordable person I found by far and was fast and punctual. I was late to have my own hair and makeup done and she just moved right along with the other girls' hair to ensure I wasn't stressed and got to relax with my girls a bit too. Kate, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me and all my girls feel so beautiful on my big day!!!
