Owner & Event Imagineer Mindy Eekhoff strives to give each romantic event a creative, imaginative spin. After organizing her own wedding 14 years ago, she found her passion for event planning and turned it into a full-time career. While based in Iowa, she is happy to travel for couples planning an out-of-state celebration.
You will have various packages to choose from The Glass Slipper, with services ranging from day-of coordination to full-service wedding and honeymoon planning.
Mindy specializes in unique event themes, from Shakespeare to zombies, and will work to show off you and your partner's personality in each detail. During the big day, she will be present at the venue to make sure everything goes according to plan.
To better serve our deaf community, Mindy is currently refreshing her ASL skills.

We did have budget concerns, but Mindy was able to alleviate our worries. She was able to create a splendid celebratory event and planned the perfect trip. Everyone all around, but more importantly, my parents - had such a wonderful time!
My wife and I are planning to work with The Glass Slipper again in the near future as we plan a surprise baby shower for my sister-in-law.

Our daughter's dream was to have a themed wedding. She and her groom are both big into Steampunk. Her mother and I were skeptical (we had no idea what Steampunk really was!) but The Glass Slipper pulled off an amazing feat! There wasn't really any stress, either. Those involved in the planning really connected with and had complete trust in Mindy's abilities and creativity.
We all truly felt like were actually living the experience of the Victorian era with certain elements being more "advanced" for the time period, such as the groomsmen's' feather boutonnieres that also included small gear and key trinkets. It was the finer details that went into the planning and the décor that really pulled the entire event together, resulting in an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience that will always be remembered.
We were (and still are!) more than happy to recommend The Glass Slipper to anyone who is looking for an event planner.
