We were fortunate enough to have The Gold Collective photograph our wedding and will be thankful we made that decision for the rest of our lives. The photos are one of a kind and t...
ruly reflect our event and our personality as a couple. Ivy was so thoughtful in her approach, not only having many conversations with us about our hopes for how our wedding would be photographed, but she was also kind enough to come to our walk through so she could see the space and we could put together a game plan for the evening. It also afforded her the opportunity to meet our family before the event and find a point person within our family to help wrangle during family photos.
The photography team was seemingly everywhere during our wedding, taking photos of the space, the ceremony, and the party in equal measure. Less than a week after our wedding, we were absolutely shocked when a link to the photos arrived in our inbox. We immediately looked through and were overjoyed by what we saw. Not only did they get every shot, and every guest, they did so in such an artful and composed way, full of hilarious candids and gorgeous intimate moments. It really felt like reliving the fun of our wedding all over again. We truly felt transported because the photographs hold an authentic essence of the evening in such a beautiful way. Ivy is the best and we will and would recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer. She is one of a kind!
I would highly recommend booking The Gold Collective right this second. Ivy was such a delight to work with from the start! We chatted for about an hour, getting to know each other...
and figuring out what was important to my husband and I as far as wedding photos goes. She was very transparent about her services and I really felt like I could trust her. It's very easy to be comfortable with her because of how friendly she is. This was extremely important to me and she didn't disappoint! Once the big day came I was pretty nervous but Ivy and the person she brought with her to assist were both kind and upbeat which helped shake the nerves off so I could relax a bit.
I can't even begin to describe how beautiful the photos turned out. I let her know that I was less interested in super posed portraits, which she respected, and though I'm sure she would have done a great job with super posey stuff, it's just not our vibe. Even so, she was able to get perfect photos with our families and wedding party that will be super memorable. She was creative with the detailed shots so I will never forget every little thing we planned. Best of all, however, were the reception shots. Sometimes, with wedding photos, there really aren't that many photos of the guests. I couldn't believe how many incredible photos there were of everyone having so much fun...it really captured the spirit of the whole evening!
To sum it up, if you're looking for a photographer who will really feel like you've somehow known forever, and if you want INCREDIBLE photos, you can't go wrong here.
Ivy was a COMPLETE DREAM. I cannot speak enough to how much she understood our vision and gave us pictures that reflected and captured the soul of our day.
She truly, truly was ...
a godsend. She made us comfortable when taking pictures and our pictures are unique and very true to our relationship vs. cookie cutter wedding photos. THANK YOU IVY FOR BEING THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!
We could not have asked for anything better! Ivy and her team worked seamlessly to get the shots we wanted. They made sure to know the important people involved and made everyone f...
eel at ease. She cracked us up so the smiles were easy, felt genuine, and looked amazing. The turn around time for getting the pictures back was great! I think we were able to see them right after getting back from the honeymoon! It was a great relief to not have to worry about anything with the photos. Ivy was quick to get what she needed and was super flexible and easygoing with everything. Thanks again!
Anyone who knows me well knows that I DESPISE having my photo taken. I literally run away to avoid being in photos. So I was really nervous about having a photographer at my weddin...
g at all, simply because I don't like being in front of the camera. I knew that I would regret it if I didn't have photos to document our special day.
Ivy was a dream to work with. She listened and considered everything I wanted and effortlessly delivered. She is confident in her skills and easy to talk to. Most importantly she made me and my family feel comfortable which is why I can happily say I didn't turn out looking like a Goomba like I normally do. I am so happy with how our photos turned out!

t really liked Ivy. She did an equally wonderful job capturing portraits and party shots, and I felt like our personality and the vibe of the whole weekend really came through in the photos. They turned out gorgeous, fun, unique and elevated, all without ever falling into the cheesy wedding photo tropes. Now, all I have to do to relive a weekend that went by much too quickly is look at my photos!

een a single photo yet. Ivy was a blast to work with and the photos turned out exactly how I wanted them. They were beautiful and elevated without being at all cheesy. I felt like our personality and the spirit of the whole weekend really came through in the photos, and Ivy did an equally good job with the portraits as with the party shots. Every time I look back through them, I am instantly transported back to a weekend that passed way too quickly. I highly recommend the Gold Collective for anyone who wants unique, original wedding photos.
We were so happy with our wedding photos! I was a bit nervous about being photographed as I normally look a bit goofy in photos and am camera shy but I felt at ease and knew I was ...
in great hands. The results were fantastic we still love and treasure our photos so much!!! Thank you The Gold Collective! Fun, professional and super talented!!!
I am so happy I went with THE GOLD COLLECTIVE for our wedding!!! I got married a month ago and I was SO happy when I got the photos back. They did an amazing job, and every time I ...
look at the photos I feel so happy. Their focused professionalism coupled with the fun, engaging personalities of the two photographers yielded fantastic results. Even our most camera-shy guests relaxed in front of them so that we have great photos of everyone at our wedding. They did a fantastic job capturing the magic of the day. They had great energy from the moment they arrived, hours before the wedding. They helped me feel relaxed and confident as we did first look photos in those last few hours before the ceremony. They were discrete during the ceremony while capturing every moment. They got us through the family portraits quickly and positively, and they sustained their great energy all the way through through the cocktail hour, the reception dinner, the toasts, the dance party, dessert, and the afterparty. I highly recommend these guys.
The Gold Collective was perfect! I was thrilled when they agreed to photograph my wedding, and I was thrilled with the results. They captured the soul of our wedding.
Photographers for my daughter's wedding in Santa Barbara, December 2016... delightfully fun to work with... results were stunning!
