I was so thrilled to have my September wedding at GCSR. We had the ceremony outside at the Pavilion and our reception in the Great Room. The great part about the Pavilion is that it’s covered, so in the event of rain (which it did on our wedding day!) nothing really needs to change. It was absolutely beautiful. The cocktail hour was also held under the Pavilion right after the ceremony. Gina and her staff were stellar - they set everything up according to the plan we discussed at our 1-on-1 meeting during the tasting. She had the bridal suite set up with champagne and snacks when we arrived and, following the ceremony, she made sure that me, the groom, and our families always had a drink in-hand and anything else we could’ve needed. They broke down almost all of the decorations while we had our last dance and did the bubble exit. We had about 60 guests, leaving the perfect amount of space for a cozy dance floor with the DJ set up in the loft.

We had a rehearsal dinner and welcome party here the night before our wedding and it was so great!! Everything looked beautiful and the service was great! They were very helpful during planning and responsive to all my questions. The food was also delicious! And definitely more affordable than most places I looked at and the room was very spacious.

My husband and I got married here in October and it was the most amazing day of my life!! It couldn’t have been any nicer or more beautiful. We had about 70 ppl and I was a little worried about it looking like too few guests but that was not the case at all. The space is so versatile it would be gorgeous with 50 or 150! The space has a rustic feel and the grounds were so beautiful to look out on during the reception. Angelique was so amazing to work with- she got back to me so quickly throughout the whole planning process (and I asked a LOT of questions). The forecast called for rain and we didn’t know whether to keep the ceremony outside or move it inside. We opted for outside at the last minute and Angelique called around to get us more heaters and sides for the pavilion the day before! She made me feel so much less worried about the rain because she just assured me everything would still be perfect and it definitely was. The execution of the whole day was completely seamless. The food was delicious and my guests still tell me how my wedding was one of the most beautiful ones they’ve been to. I could go on forever about how wonderful every aspect of the Golf Club was!!!

Amazing venue! We got married at the Golf Club at South River last month. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The pavilion is where our ceremony took place... the views were stunning. Our reception was inside. I highly recommend this venue as it’s got the rustic, chic atmosphere. Angelique is the site coordinator and was on point with everything. She has a lot of experience and was great about providing advice, guidance and answering all of our questions. Angelique and her team’s execution the day of the wedding was flawless. It seriously was a special day. Also, not to mention, the food was amazing!! All of our guests raved about it, which you rarely here at weddings. We decided to do buffet style with short ribs and salmon. I honestly can’t say anything but great things about our experience. This venue was perfect for our special day! Thank you!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at this location early December and it was just absolutely perfect! We booked the entire club and I think the venue is perfect for a winter wedding. The great room just screams winter chalet/cabin. We booked the venue pretty late in the year but Angelique was very helpful and helped make our big day a dream come true! The food was AMAZING! We choose the buffet 3 entree option and all of our guests mentioned about how great the food was. You should definitely consider the Golf Club at South River for your wedding venue!

The facily is absolutely beautiful!! Be sure to look at their pictures on their website. The staff, especially Angelique, were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend having your reception here!

The Golf Club at South River was the perfect venue for both our wedding ceremony and reception. We were in love with the property the minute we walked inside. The space is absolutely gorgeous with high wood beam ceilings and a stone fireplace. The outside area is just as nice with a cute red bridge and small pond serving as a backdrop (they are also in the process of adding a new patio area with fireplace). The staff at GCSR are amazing!!! We worked with Angelique throughout our planning process. No question was too big or too small, and she was always quick to provide a response and even a recommendation. Very professional and personable. She made sure everything came together perfectly the day of the wedding and that it all ran smoothly. We were so thankful to have her there. All of the food was delicious and perfectly portioned!!! We received so many compliments on the food, service, and on the venue itself. We could not have been happier selecting GCSR. I would highly recommend GCSR!!!

The Golf club at South River was a wonderful venue to host our wedding at. We knew this was the perfect venue as soon as we toured. The grounds are beautifully kept and the reception rooms are incredible. Our ceremony and reception were held in the club house and it was breathtaking. We used minimal decor since the space itself is already so gorgeous. The entire clubhouse is warm and inviting and set the perfect tone for our simple but elegant wedding. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and the food is also delicious. I would recommend this venue to anyone and I'm so glad this was my choice for my special day!

The venue was exactly what my husband and I wanted. An intimate classy feel with a touch of rustic flair. Angelique and her staff made the day for us. They were professional, courteous and fun.

South River was so great throughout our entire planning process! Sunye was so patient, understanding and super friendly! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and you could have the wedding indoor or outdoor... We had ours outside in the covered pavilion! They also catered out reception and the food is to die for! Number 1 venue in my opinion!!!

I cannot say enough about my wonderful experience at The Golf Club at South River. From the very beginning they were very professional, helpful and accommodating. They were friendly and courteous too. They did everything for me that I asked and never made it seem like a burden. The food at my receptions was AMAZING! (thanks to Chef Q). The venue was absolutely beautiful and all of my wedding guests were highly impressed. I would recommend that anyone who is looking for a venue for any kind of event -not just a wedding- consider contacting and booking their event at The Golf Club at South River!
