About this vendor
The Government Peak Chalet is the perfect venue for up to 150 wedding guests. With 360' panoramic views of the Chugach Range, Knik Glacier and the entire Mat-Su Valley, it is well worth the drive. We are no longer taking inquiries through The Knot. Please visit our website at www.governmentpeakchalet.com for availability and pricing. We would love to schedule a Chalet Tour and learn more about how we can help bring your wedding vision to life.

I would highly recommend the Government Peak Chalet for your wedding experience! Sierra made the process of planning very simple and streamlined; with also paying lots of attention...
to details executing our vision and theme. I love that she has decorations you can à la carte and be integrated with your own personal decor. Our photographer was able to capture the wonderful sunset backdrop on the beautiful Hatchers Pass mountains behind us! Our wedding was in the winter time, and the kids absolutely loved that there was a hill they could go sledding on that day! We loved that they had a full kitchen that we could utilize and serve our dinner out of to our guests. The bathrooms were great because they were spacious and had extra seating for everyone to get ready before the event! Five out of five stars and will definitely consider as a priority option for future events! Thank you, Sierra at the Government Peak Chalet!! You are the best !! 💗💗💗
This is a great venue overall - it's a great value, has indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and beautiful views. There are various packages, so it's perfect for everyone from the ...
total DIYer to someone who wants a planner with them every step of the way.
