The venue was beautiful and even though it rained we were able to still have everything indoors. The onsite crew was so helpful. The power went out right before the ceremony and they worked very hard to get it going so the ceremony would start on time. They were accommodating in letting us bring out desserts the night before. Shout out to Anne and her crew!

The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm was chosen after months of trying to decide when, where, and how to have our wedding (as I'm sure many of you reading this can relate). The owners of The Grainary, Anne and Sarah, were extremely accomodating while we planned our wedding from across the country. I grew up in the Duluth, MN area, but we did not even see the venue in-person until the week of the wedding. We were blown away by it's country beauty and elegance. It was everything we could have dreamed of or asked for in a wedding location having all of the events on-site: getting ready in the bridal cottage/groom's loft, ceremony, and reception. Our main desire was to have our union dedicated unto Jesus Christ before family and friends for a lovely meal, fellowship, and celebration. This location was stunning, a true family-owned farm (an actual farm by day), with so much love and beauty poured into it's design. You really have the ability to do whatever in terms of decorating a lot or a little to your liking at this venue, because everything is so beautiful just the way it is - inside and outside. One detail that I was looking for, and someone may want to know is the long farm tables are exactly how I imagined our guests sitting down for a shared meal. We are so thankful God helped us find this venue and family-owned farm. One thing my husband still says to this day is, "I wish we had more time with everyone at the venue." Everything about The Grainary was absolutely fantastic! We got married on 6/24/2023 and it was the most magical day, largely because of this venue. The owners had great communication throughout the whole process and were so helpful and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, they went above and beyond to make sure the decorating went smoothly and the other vendors arriving knew exactly where to set up. The venue itself is so gorgeous with the perfect blend between rustic and modern and fit our vision exactly. Our guests wouldn’t stop talking about how beautiful The Grainary was and our wedding party loved how approachable and friendly the owners were. Our day was absolutely perfect and we’re so thankful that we chose The Grainary!

As a fellow wedding professional, my very first experience at The Grainary was one that I'll never forget. Let's start with how helpful and accommodating Craig, Sarah, Greg and Annie were to me before the event even started. Annie sent me a layout of the space (as requested) so that I could attempt to familiarize myself before arriving (I live 2.5 hours away from the venue, so a site visit was NOT an option). Once there, Craig was quite helpful in pointing out some site logistics to me before I set up my gear, with Sarah assisting me with what I needed in order to set up for the ceremony. This quartet made my experience really smooth, while also allowing me total freedom to take care of our shared couple (and said couple's community) in any way that I saw fit. I can't stress enough how much I value when venue owners/coordinators understand my role in guiding everyone through a wedding celebration. Their patience and assistance at the end of the night while I was packing away and loading my equipment back into my van has to be acknowledged, as well. Grainary Team, thanks MUCH for your part in helping me deliver a once in a lifetime experience to our shared couple!

Our daughter had her wedding at the Grainery at Lake Valley Farm at the end of June. What a beautiful venue! It was so nice to have a separate ceremony space and reception area all at one location. The owners were kind and helpful, and made the day go smoothly. Having a bridal cottage and groomsmen quarters to get ready right on site was very convenient and made the day much less stressful. The stylists we hired were able to come right to the bridal cottage and help us get ready in a relaxed setting with plenty of time. All the vendors we had that day were outstanding. The facility is so beautiful and classy, we hardly needed many decorations at all. Everyone really enjoyed the reception area, especially the charming outdoor area with all the fireplaces. This is really a one-of-a-kind, gorgeous venue, and you can tell that it is not just a business for the owners, it is their passion. They WANT you to have the best day ever there and will do everything they can to make it happen. So many of our guests have told us how much they loved the venue and how impressed they were with the Grainery crew, how they just happily moved about and took care of things behind the scenes. We are going to recommend The Grainery to anyone looking for a venue. THANK YOU to the whole Grainery crew! You were wonderful!

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to get married at The Grainary! Both the ceremony and reception spaces are absolutely breathtaking. The hayloft ceremony space has a dreamy chapel feel with its hanging moss chandelier, twinkling string lights, and aisles of wooden pews. The reception hall is modern and spacious with a unique open-air concept that many venues don’t offer. There’s plenty of outdoor spaces for guests to relax and hang out throughout the night equipped with couches, fire pits, and yard games such as giant Jenga, Connect 4, cornhole, and basketball. It was really smooth to have everything in one place, eliminating the need to travel to different locations – we got ready, took photos, and had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place. There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor areas around the property for pictures – you’ll have endless choices no matter the weather! The owners Anne and Sarah are incredibly kind and attentive, and promptly answered all of our questions throughout the wedding planning process. I highly recommend the Grainary!

Annie & Sarah went above & beyond for our wedding, especially since it was postponed a year. They were available all day to help us with whatever we needed & were just overall amazing. The venue itself was stunning. We didn’t have much for decorations because we truly didn’t need it for it to look amazing. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough!

If you’re looking for your dream venue… this. is. IT! From the gorgeous ceremony area in the hayloft to the INSANE pavilion filled with every indoor and outdoor amenity you and your guests need to have a good time.. there wasn’t one element out of place. The Grainary knocked our socks off! The beauty behind this build and location totally brought it home for this simple bride- minimal decorations needed to jazz up an already stunning venue! Easy peasy! (Well done Grainary Crew!!) We’d get married here a million times over again, but for now just can’t wait to tell our friends about it. You need to get married here!!

We loved having our wedding at The Grainary and would highly recommend it!!! Our wedding was gorgeous and picturesque and we received so many compliments from our guests on the venue! It was also wonderful to get ready in the bridal cottage in the morning and one of my favorite parts of the venue was how many different and unique (and beautiful) locations we had to take pictures at throughout the day! Also, Anne and Sarah were so kind and great to work with. They were responsive to all my questions and made sure we felt prepared for the day! Our only small issue was the ceremony barn was really hot. We had an unseasonably hot day for northern Duluth but if we did not have a short ceremony (15-30 min.) I am not sure us and our guests could have lasted much longer in the Barn. Everywhere else that was not air-conditioned they had a lot of fans so the barn was the only place where it got a bit too hot. Again, we highly recommend the venue! It was our chic rustic dream!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Grainary! The venue is absolutely stunning, our guests commented multiple times on how beautiful the space was. The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm is by far the most beautiful venue, run by the kindest people you will find on this site. Our original wedding date was postponed (COVID-19) and they were so easy to work with during the stressful process of rescheduling our wedding. When our day did arrive their staff was on top of everything and helped make our wedding flawless. 10/10 recommend!!

I highly recommend The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm as a venue! The entire venue was so intrinsically beautiful that we needed very few decorations to make it just right. The bridal cottage was so quaint and had plenty of space and outlets for our bridal party to get ready and the groom's silo was set up perfectly! Our guests enjoyed the outdoor games as well as the lighted outdoor seating area with fire tables. The barn was very impressive as well. The owners were responsive, professional, and helpful both prior to and during our event.

There is this magical place called The Grainary at Valley Farm. My daughter held her reception there and it was a fairytale kind of day. The Bridal building is a modern-romantic-vintage storybook cottage . The perfect place for dressing in lace, linen and silk while the groom and his men relax in an ultra modern farmhouse loft. Meanwhile, the owners are quietly taking care of the details you didn’t realize needed attending to. They are there in the background helping the day just fly by in ease. When your guests arrive their mouths will drop. The entire venue was designed brilliantly and obviously beautifully. Form and function! I honestly cannot think of one negative thing. This is the place you go if you want to have a beautiful and perfect fairytale kind of day.

There is so much I could say about this incredible venue. I will start off by saying how gorgeous it is. The decor and overall aesthetic is amazing. The owners of the venue are so responsive, helpful, and kind. If you are in the twin ports area or even if you are looking to have a destination wedding, this venue is the right choice. I haven't stopped hearing about how beautiful the venue was from all of my wedding guests. Sarah and Anne, you gals rock!

The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm was the absolute best venue a bride could ask for. It is gorgeous eithout decor, so when you add your own personal touch it is breathtaking. The venue provided everything a wedding party and guests would need to have a day full of love and laughter. Everything worked so smoothly and the venue had thought of EVERYTHING. Both the bride and grooms spaces worked perfectly. The ceremony space in the barn speaks for itself with it's beauty. Last but not least, the reception space offered an elegant feeling with a mix of Wisconsin farm charm. The details are something to be spoken for. Every inch of this venue was created intentionally and with a classic timeless style. The owners were phenominal and provided a service the day of that was irreplaceable. They were there to help and support anything my family needed and were so thankful in return to have guests appreciating their space that they've worked so hard to build. I can not say enough good things!

HIDDEN GEM! This venue is absolutely gorgeous!!! Not to mention the owners, Sarah and Anne, are two of the nicest people I've ever met. They made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day so that I could stop stressing so much. Their communication throughout the planning process was amazing, too! Definitely recommend to anyone in Northern WI, MN or someone looking to do a mini destination wedding like us!

The Grainary was the perfect venue for my daughter and her (now) husband's wedding. The barn loft offered a unique and breathtaking atmosphere for the ceremony. Everything is there for the perfect sound system as well. The reception area was phenomenal. Everything from the absolutely beautiful tables, chandeliers, chairs, flooring....you name it. The attention to detail cannot be matched. We also had the opportunity to spread out as the outside space is well used and again so beautiful. Our guests were able to enjoy games, s'mores and just hang out in one of the most beautiful venues I've seen. The pictures on the site are beautiful, but I feel you don't even get the half of what they have to offer until you actually see it and experience it.

We are SO happy with our decision to get married at the Grainary. When we first saw it, my now husband and I both fell in love, and it proceeded to meet all our expectations for the day of. The whole area is beautiful. It includes nice cute areas for the men and women to get ready. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, but also made sure to take pictures in the barn they have as a possible ceremony space because it is just so gorgeous. There is a very nice outdoor patio area and there is a lot of room to spread out. The reception hall has beautiful large windows to keep you connected to the outside. Our guests all loved the venue. Anne and Sarah were both so helpful and really thought of everything when it came to our wedding. I would definitely recommend it!

We could not have been happier with our experience at The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm. Not only is this venue beautiful, Anne and Sarah are fabulous to work with. They pitched in on the day of the wedding helping us set up and making suggestions when I wasn’t sure on placement of decor. They made everything so much easier with their help. All of our guests loved it and we received nothing but positive feedback from them. They have thought of everything to make this the perfect place for your wedding and reception.

I'm not sure where to begin as everything about this venue was breathtaking and immaculate. Typically when you think of a barn or ranch style wedding venue, it sounds way to rustic and "dated." The Grainary at Lake Valley is absolutely beautiful. It may seem underwhelming when you drive up, but as soon as the doors open to that barn, the NEW reception venue, and the bridal suite.... you are speechless. The BARN - absolutely amazing, the chandelier that hangs in the center of the barn with the moss is straight out of a Bride's dream. I've been in a lot of weddings and attended a LOT of weddings, this moment of entering the barn and seeing everything that space has to offer, is completely OVERWHELMING (in a good way). Each detail, from the pews, to the floor, to the set up as you enter, the alter area, and THAT CHANDELIER - I've never seen another venue capture this all in one room. As for the reception hall, first, the black accents against the vintage brick and dark wood trim, is breathtaking. The large barn doors that open in the front are also beautiful. They are modern but have the cozy/sexy feeling to them. From the "clear doors" that roll up for that inside/outside feel, the vintage brick wall, the bar area, and of course, the GROOM'S area... all of it, again, out of a dream. The Grainary team has truly thought through every detail possible on how to make this venue everything and anything you could ever want. The setup and feel of the entire property allows for you to take your wedding day vibe in many directions, yet still capture the romance and classiness. The Grainary team is OUTSTANDING. You need anything, they've got it. Truly a magical experience, even just as a bridesmaid. :)

This venue is everything a bride and groom dream their day of being! Anne, Kraig, Sarah and Greg answered all of our questions to help the day go so smoothly! They had a TON of beautiful rental items that made our day extra special! From vintage couches for pictures, to chandeliers to buffets to vintage mirrors! It is every girls dream selection of items! The vintage brick wall in the reception hall makes the head table stand out in pictures and adds a pop in the already beautiful reception hall! The guys have the ultimate guy area to get ready in the rustic and masculine silo with a loft! The detail in the design and set up is impeccable! The girls area is just as beautiful as every other area on site! The vintage furniture, antique clothing rack, macrame curtain details and old, retro fridge are just some of the adorable items that make the room perfect! Then there is the barn ceremony area-which is just jaw dropping! The permanent iron chandelier, the curtains added in the front, the vintage mirrors hand picked as a collage for my day, the old doors for the entry, the gold floral wall accents were items that perfected the barn for our ceremony! My daughter had her dream wedding at The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm wedding venue. The owners, Anderson's and Nelson's, were friendly and fun to work with. They couldn't have been more accommodating in helping our daughter envision her special day. The barn, the ceremony site was absolutely spectacular. It was highlighted by vintage mirrors and multiple beautiful chandeliers. It left us awestruck. The new indoor pavilion was perfect for the reception. It included many beautiful attention getting features such as cool barn doors where you entered, vintage brick backdrop and a grand head table for the wedding party. The lighting created a great party atmosphere. The spaces provided for both the groomsmen and bridesmaids were fun and quaint. They were roomy, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. The wedding party all felt special and relaxed as the wedding event approached. The grounds were well kept and manicured. They planned for great parking, suburb photography opportunities, and a unique location. My wife and I highly recommend this venue as an amazing place that you will never regret. Each detail of a wedding has been well thought out and planned so that each wedding can be glorious and amazing. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Are you looking for a fairytale wedding? The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm is your Venue! Me and my husband fell in love with the Venue (before the ceremony loft was finished). We wanted to get married in a place that was inviting and felt like home. As you walk into the loft you will see the enormous ceilings and walk under the one of kind iron chandelier. The feeling is so intimate, and romantic. The natural lighting is so beautiful hitting the historical barn wood floor to ceiling. Anne and Sarah gave us the vision of the Ceremony, and turned it into a fairytale. You and your guests will be in awe. I STILL have my guests talk about our special day. Anne and Sarah did all the decorating of the ceremony loft, and they blew us away. The went above and beyond with our expecations. They're very easy to work with, and won't let you down. The landscaping of the Venue is well kept and bursting with beauty. The grounds are counituing to grow, and I can't imagine the end result. The owners are so inspiring with their ideas, and it's very inspirational. One of my favorite parts was the Bridal Cottage. This building is so breathtaking of beauty. The natural lighting, and historical feel is beyond words. It had plenty of space for makeup, hairstylists, and lounging. It was so comfortable, and relaxing. We had other family members in and out all morning. It just made it more special to have everyone there. You will be so happy with the Venue. I highly recommend this Venue!

If you're looking for a place to get married where all of your dreams come true, you MUST check out The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm!! I was a bridesmaid at two different weddings at The Grainary and I have never been more impressed with the beauty and personal touch that the owners supplied for each bride. The beautiful rustic barn looks like it popped right out of a fairy tale and has the best lighting for absolutely gorgeous wedding photos. The bridal suite where the girls got ready was so cute and comfortable. It was spacious enough for bridal parties of 8 while including hair and make up stylists, family members and whoever else decided to join us that morning! The barn was decorated down to every last detail with the bride and groom in mind. Not one corner was left untouched with simply picturesque decor. We had so much fun at the weddings at the Grainary. I would definitely recommend this space to future brides and grooms!!

Wow, I’m not even sure where to start with my review of The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm. Absolutely everything was incredible! My daughter and her husband were the first couple married there in 2016. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. I love the beauty of old wood, and the interior of the barn is stunning. Anne and Sarah did an amazing job with every detail. We will be forever grateful for everything that Anne and Sarah have done, and The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm has been forever engraved into our memory and our hearts.

This venue is incredible. My best friend was married here in 2016 and let me tell you, I have not been able to shut up about it since! Anne & Sarah know what they are doing, they thought of absolutely everything. You can really tell that they love what they do, their passion/excitement radiates throughout the entire space. My experience here was magical, so warm and inviting. Not to mention, every inch of this place is photo worthy. Very instagram-able, believe me! I really cannot recommend The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm, enough. Definitely check them out, I guarantee you’ll fall in love. Obsessed.

My husband and I were honored to be one of the first wedding clients for The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm. It's rare in our area to find a barn venue that not only has a large capacity, but is conveniently located close to town for guest accommodations. Being a photographer, I was so happy that the grainary house, barn, and farm grounds were picture perfect. We were able to shoot all of our photos on site with a variety of gorgeous backdrops (rain or shine). The owners went above and beyond to help decorate and provide unique prop options to rent. They even made a wood sign of our last name that we still have hanging in our house today. We booked this location in its beginning stages and were so satisfied. I can only imagine how spectacular it will be after all their plans are completed!!

The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm is all of your wedding dreams wrapped up in one beautiful location. From the charming antique filled guest house that doubles as a getting ready suite to the 100 year old barn that has been converted into a magical spot to pledge your forever. Windows open up to let the light spill in highlighting the wooden beams and wood floor. The decor is tasteful and nothing has been overlooked. Everything about this place is beautiful. The owners have styled and created each spot to perfection....a photographers dream to capture!

This venue is amazing!! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding here a couple years ago and Anne and Sarah and their husbands are great to work with and take amazing care of their venue. They have expanded the grounds and they have only become more beautiful, the barn is gorgeous, the bridal sweet is perfect and so much fun to get ready in and there are amazing spots for photos everywhere you look! I love this venue! You won’t be disappointed if you book your wedding at The Grainery at Lake Valley Farm!

I was the second wedding photographer to capture images at this beautiful barn. This barn is absolultly breathtaking!! There is nothing that disappointed me about this venue. I’m not engaged yet but I know exactly where I will be booking my fairytale wedding when that day comes. The owners are very friendly! I would give this venue 5 stars but I’m afraid their worth far more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
