The Grand Canadian Theater

The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the prices are unbeatable and Gisela is amazing!! I got married here in October and it was perfect. The staff was so helpful, Gisela is an amazing coordinator and one of my favorite parts was we didn’t have to bring anything, you can use all of the theater’s decorations!

We were so pleased with our wedding! Guests raved about the beauty of the theater, and Gisela made our vision come to life!

If you’re looking for a venue with charm, history, and elegance look no further because you’ve found it at The Grand Canadian Theater. From the grand staircase that you can make your entrance down to the beautiful decor everything about this place is stunning. Not only is it stunning, but working with Gisela is a dream. G helps take care of everything, and your meetings with her to talk about design and decor options will leave you even more excited than you already were for your wedding. We loved having our reception at this venue (we were married at my childhood Church), and everyone we spoke with raved about how beautiful the venue was and how they had no clue it was here. Grand Canadian is the perfect distance from Norman in that it’s not a hard drive for your guests to make and you can easily get Ubers and Lyfts as needed. We loved our custom marquee over the entrance to the reception place, and my bridesmaids loved getting reading in the bridal suite the morning of wedding. I could go on all day about how helpful Gisela was, how comfortable and beautiful the bridal suite is, and how gorgeous the reception space was! Having our reception at Grand Canadian provided us with the elegant look we were going for, and allowed us to have an amazing party as well. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

The Grand Canadian Theater is an excellent place for a wedding! It's in Purcell which is about 15-20 minutes south of Norman and very easy to get to. It has a great charm about the area in downtown Purcell. The venue has a great, glamorous feel to it by having dark wood floors, soft white paint, and mixed décor which includes brick, crystal chandeliers, and a grand stand staircase! Gisela, the owner, was absolutely great! She was very easy to work with and made it very clear how determined she was to ensure we were going to have the best wedding day she could provide. She was also my day-of-coordinator and made sure we were well taken care of. If there was a problem at all, I had no idea! She even made sure we ate at some point during the evening which I was very grateful for! My wedding was the absolutely best and beautiful it could be all thanks to Gisela and her team. I heard nothing but great comments from my friends and family in attending my wedding. Definitely check out this venue if you're looking for something unique!

Absolutely loved our time at The Grand Canadian Theater! Everything was perfectly planned and executed according to our wants and needs. Every guest I spoke to said the pictures that they had seen were beautiful but that the venue exceeded their expectations many folds. My husband is a man of little words and as soon as we pulled away the night of the wedding, he looked over at me and said “our wedding was a fairytale”. 110% of that credit goes to Gisela and her team!

There are not enough words to express how much I am in love with this place! Gisela was a dream to work with. From the very first day I walked into her venue she was so kind and sweet I just knew I had to get married there. She was so attentive of every detail and made my wedding exactly a I had always dreamed. We left feeling like family! The venue itself is gorgeous. There is so much detail and they offer so many options of decor that I had everything I needed in once place. There are different packages to choose from so you are able to tailor it to your needs! We have heard non stop comments about how gorgeous our venue was! I 100% recommend this place to everyone!!

We could not have picked a better venue! Not only is it gorgeous and full of charm, but it is run by the most wonderful people!! Gisela and Hollie took care of everything! They made sure my husband and I ate and had water. They communicated with vendors and were on top of the timeline. All their hard work allowed us to enjoy every moment with our family and friends, even they were so impressed with the TGCT crew. Another bonus of this incredible venue is the amazing groom and bridal suites!!

Absolutely incredible! My husband and I got married here almost 3 months ago and I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. We were taken care of so well by the manager and her crew and the day was so smooth. They really know what they're doing and the do it with excellence! The venue is stunning and there was more than enough room for the ceremony, dancing, and all of the other fun things we did. The manager of the venue was also a great communicator and always made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend anyone and everyone to check them out :)

The Grand Canadian is a beautiful venue. It is an old theater turned into a venue. At first we worried we wouldn't be able to fit all 300 guests and have a dance floor but everything worked out great. Giselle is an amazing person and goes above and beyond to make sure everything works out for your big day.
