The Grand

We absolutely loved The Grand! They were super responsive and easy to work with through the whole planning process. We had a few meetings leading up to the wedding, but they were always really organized and efficient which we appreciated so much because there is already so much time that goes into planning a wedding. The music was amazing! They kept the flow of the night going perfectly too. It wasn’t just super hype music all night, they did a really good job of bringing the energy up and down and just kind of reading the room. They also MCed the entire night and kept everything on track for us, which was amazing because we really didn’t have to think about anything. We could just enjoy our reception. People were on the dance floor basically all night. I always knew I wanted a live band at my wedding and they were easily the #1 thing people complimented/talked about at the reception. Our guests LOVED them. They also learned “our” song, which was so amazing to dance to live! They took requests too and knew a ton of different music. Probably my favorite part of the entire night was when they let my new father-in-law get up and sing with them to my mother-in-law because the song they were playing had her name as the title. It was completely unexpected and so much fun, and definitely one of those moments from our wedding that we’re always going to remember. I had always wanted a live band and I’m so, so glad we went with The Grand. They were absolutely worth it and I really can’t recommend them enough!! I unfortunately don’t have any good pictures of the actual band, so I’m including some of the dance floor instead. The shoes did, in fact, come off for most of us by the end of the night… which I feel like is a pretty good review of the music on its own

The Grand Event Band was exceptionally impressive to work with from the very start. Prior to our wedding, the band made sure to check in with us on our music taste and got to know us as people. They were quick to approve every song request, even if they haven't played it before (The team is very, very talented). At the wedding, they blew everyone away -- the guests keep raving about them. They played beautifully during dinner, handled the sound and lights equipment very well, and definitely kept the party going on the dance floor. They played requests from the crowd and allowed the bride and groom to join them to sing -- 10/10, would love to have them again, highly recommend !!
