I had recently gotten married at The Grand Ivory, and it was nothing short of absolute perfection. In my opinion, The Grand Ivory is truly one of the hidden gems of the DFW metropl...
ex. From its breathtaking backdrops to the seclusiveness of the event space, this venue is truly an effortless beauty. Tatum and her staff were also very kind, organized, and accommodating in ensuring everything ran smoothly come the big day. Even our guests couldn't stop raving about how much they LOVED the event space, with some even comparing it to a feeling of being in a Hallmark movie. If any couples are looking for their magical and memorable dream wedding venue, I highly recommend The Grand Ivory and promise it won't disappoint.
Perfect venue for my wedding!! Tatum was very professional and made sure to cater to all my request, she was Perfect to work with. The venue is beautiful, the fact that everything ...
is in one location makes it perfect for what I wanted.
The only con I have which wasn't such a big deal is that, the bride's cottage doesn't have a shower, so the bride and her girls have to shower before going to the venue. But apart from that everything was perfect and will highly recommend.
I got married at the grand ivory this past January. I absolutely loved this venue and would recommend it to everyone! The price is great compared to some other similar venues. Tatu...
m was always available for me when I had questions and helped me throughout the whole process. The venue is gorgeous and can be made into whatever vision anyone has. I got so many compliments on the venue from my guests! The only downside is that the closest hotels for guests are not super close, but there are a couple hotels that provide shuttles to the venue and back, which is what I had some of my guests use.
We got married at the Grand Ivory in March of 2021. The Grand Ivory itself is beautiful - you can't beat the beautiful bridal suite and groom's cottage, chapel, arches, and recepti...
on venue. It's truly a dream and exactly what we were looking for. When we saw photos online, we knew we had to book it for our big day. Booking the venue was easy! It was difficult to get a response via email at times from the venue on certain questions. The other thing I would mention, which was mentioned by many other reviewers, is that we didn't receive a lot of support from the staff. Because it was a cold and windy day, we requested the doors in the chapel be closed, which was refused. You will also likely have to have your rehearsal on Thursday or earlier in the week because they book a lot of weddings on Fridays. This was a little difficult because all of our guests were from out of town. Overall, we really enjoyed having our wedding at The Grand Ivory and would highly recommend it!
We were the planners for our client's wedding on April 2nd and had the pleasure of working at The Grand Ivory! Not only is the venue itself stunning but so is their wonderful staff...
; excellent communication throughout the planning process! We definitely hope to work with them again!
We absolutely loved getting married here this summer. We had 3-4 venue tours booked after we got engaged. This was the first place we toured, and after we left, I cancelled all of ...
my other tours. I knew we had to get married in their covered chapel with the pond behind us! On our tour, we weren't pressured or "sold" anything (which we experience a lot while looking for wedding vendors). Our wedding day was a dream day for us. The venue team members were so accommodating, especially considering we had a brunch wedding, which meant an early start for them and us. Their coordinator, Tatum, was fantastic to work with. She was very patient, answered all of our questions, and worked well with our vendors to make sure things ran smoothly. I can't recommend this venue enough.
The Grand Ivory team including Tatum were incredible. Booking was super easy and we were even able to find time to tour the venue during our short visit to Dallas (we live in Maine...
so planning a Dallas wedding was tough). We had such an amazing time on our wedding day. The ground are beautiful and very well kept. The bride and grooms cottages were perfect and had plenty of space for us and our 7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. We are in love with the rustic chapel doors and the all white interior of the chapel blurs together to make every photo glow. The reception barn was plenty big for our 110 guests but did not feel too spacious. The entire process was very smooth and the staff at The Grand Ivory were incredibly kind and there every step of the way with any questions we had. We would highly recommend The Grand Ivory and think its well worth the few extra minute drive to be on such a secluded and spacious property.
I have nothing but great things to say about Tatum and her team at The Grand Ivory! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and their top-notch team took care of our every need. I am ...
still getting compliments every time I see a guest about how beautiful the venue was - everyone says it was something out of a fairytale. Tatum and her team were flexible, understanding, communicative, and beyond easy to work with.
The facilities are beautiful, well-kept, and unique. The bridal suite had plenty of room for my large wedding party and the groom really enjoyed his space. They had a pool table and TV (watching the Cowboys game of course) and had plenty to do besides drink, lol.
The Chapel overlooking the water was the perfect backdrop for my sunset ceremony and the removable windows made it very easy to remain flexible with the changing November weather.
The cocktail porch and reception space were perfect for our guests and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. It is really a venue that you can mold to your vision, a blank canvas that can be transformed into anything you would like.
I'm so glad that we booked the Grand Ivory, you should too!
This venue is the absolute BEST venue you will ever find. The most complements that I got on the night of the wedding was about how beautiful the venue was. Everyone, and I mean ev...
eryone, complimented me on it and was in awe of the beauty. Not only is the venue itself beautiful, but I really enjoyed the people that I worked with. Tatum was my venue coordinator and any time I had questions she responded in a timely manner with a response to everything that I needed. On the wedding day, they made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and it was perfect. I can't recommend this venue enough.
The Grand Ivory is just the most magical place! Plus Parker & Ashley are beyond kind and truly care about their couples and the venue! My husband and I originally planned our weddi...
ng for April but had to postpone due to Corona. Tatum, the event coordinator, was extremely helpful and patient with us as we navigated postponing to August. The people behind The Grand Ivory are amazing to work with, and have built a beautiful venue, I immediately knew as I entered the gates for my venue tour that this was THE spot I was going to marry my best friend!
Beautiful venue! They were so helpful especially since my wedding was during Covid. I highly suggest having a wedding here!
Venue is beautiful! Our wedding was last weekend and everything was amazing! Tatum was very informative and responsive to all our questions. She communicated regularly regarding...
all possible Covid limitations.
The venue was clean and is very well kept. Reception area nice and cool during the summer heat! Everything at the venue was as promised and Tatum went above and beyond to make our special day great!!
The Grand Ivory was beautiful! It captured our modern/rustic style as a couple so well. I LOVED that the chapel was able to be enclosed in case of bad weather. This gave me so much...
peace of mind, and I didn't have to worry or think twice about it! Everything was beautiful, clean, and the staff was so kind and helpful! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a venue!
This venue is an absolute dream! From the first time I toured it, I fell in love and knew right away that this was where I wanted to get married at. The property itself is immacula...
te. You have the arches where you can get some incredible pictures at, the barn where you can host the reception, the open-air chapel for the ceremony, and the bride and groom cottages where you can get ready at. For the day of, there is even a golf cart that is used to shuttle guests from the parking area to the chapel. Parker and Jessica were the gems, they really helped make my wedding so perfect and I will forever be grateful for them.
I do wish they offered a point of contact or a phone number from the get-go. I had to communicate via email until even after I booked the venue and had to ask for a point of contact or a phone number. Furthermore, we did not receive adequate rehearsal time. Since our wedding was on a Saturday, our rehearsal time was supposed to be that preceding Friday. When I reached out to the Grand Ivory to get my rehearsal time booked for Friday, they let me know that they had booked a wedding for that Friday. I’m still confused why they failed to email or call me as soon as that happened. Their solution was to have my rehearsal during that week, either Wednesday or Thursday. Unfortunately, every single person of my wedding party (except for two) did not live in DFW and the ones that did had work so that was not even plausible. After some haggling via email, Parker was able to give me 20 minutes the morning of the wedding for my rehearsal. I am so thankful that he did that for me, BUT, management has to think of a better solution.
At the end of the day, I got to marry my best friend at the most beautiful venue and thats all that matters!
My daughter found The Grand Ivory on line and she would not even consider another venue. It was so beautiful and so perfect for our wedding! They were great to work with and easy...
to get everything set up day of. I was worried that the location was a little far out of town, but it turned out to be no big deal. We did hire a bus for wedding party and wedding party dates, but everyone else did great.
It is really a stunning venue and we just lucked out with a perfect cool evening and a great breeze in the chapel.
The staff are gracious and make working with you feel very personal and give you attention. The venue is spectacular! So many amazing opportunities for photography and the perfec...

ridal cottage, with it’s perfect lighting and adorable photo ops. The chapel was so so sweet and made for an awesome backdrop. I was more in love with it than I was when I first saw it! Everything from the barn to the stone arches made The Grand Ivory the ideal spot for our big day! Except for some slow communication from the venue coordinator and an unfortunately strict 12 hour policy, the venue was worth it and all of my guests were raving!
I give this venue 4 stars, because truly our wedding day was amazing. I will say though I agree with the last few reviews. Being that this is a newer venue, I think that they are s...
till working out kinks. I had a similar experience with the lady that was on site the day of. She was helpful, but never introduced herself and sometimes it felt like we were a burden to her when we asked how to adjust the AC in the bridal suite, etc. Two weeks before the wedding, I was contacted by the venue for them to tell me that my table layout would not work with where we had put the stage for the band, this was really frustrating for me considering that I had already confirmed table set up with my florist and other vendors. When I sent in the seating chart at the 30 day mark, this problem was not brought to my attention. Luckily our band was very kind and brought the over 50ft of extension cord so that I could keep my original lay out. I agree that the catering kitchen is small, although they do allow for food to be cooked on the back parking lot of the venue (completely out of site from guests, right by the catering kitchen). This worked well for us and out caterer was able to fry the falafel on site. I also agree that there are pros and cons to any "blank canvas" sort of venue. We loved the views and that we could bring in our own vendors, that being said you must do LITERALLY everything yourself. I hired people to set up the place settings, tear down after, etc. We had 220 guests so it was quite a daunting task. Blank canvas venues can either save you a lot of money because you are able to choose which vendors you bring in, but can also cost a lot more because all they come with are the tables and chairs- linens and accessories for the bar are expensive! I also agree that with the time restrictions it was a bit pricey. We ended up paying an extra $300 so we could stay until midnight. Our ceremony was on a Friday so it did not start until 6 so that people could have time to get to the ceremony 1 hour outside of Dallas in Friday traffic, so everything ran pretty late and I wished we would have had more time dancing with our guests and enjoying the beauty of it all. All in all I really loved this venue despite the small kinks. The lake off the chapel made for gorgeous pictures. The outside and inside bars made for shorter lines for our guests. The string light courtyard was perfect for cocktail hour and the views are totally worth it. The owners of the venue were so nice and helpful. I would recommend, just know it might be a little more work on the planning side of things!
This venue is beautiful and I love all the different huts. The outside covered ceremony area is absolutely stunning. Overall I give this venue a pretty good rating but this venue i...
s rather new and there are a few things that need to be fixed. One being, the bridal and grooms cottage were not very clean upon our wedding day. The cottages just have a mini fridge which doesn’t hold very much for lunch or mimosas before the wedding. The venue is not very informative on what you’ll need. They only offer a normal fridge on the complete other side of the barn (not close to the bar) and you can’t really fit much in the fridge. We had to go out and buy big ice chests and ice so all of the beer and wine would be chilled. So when booking here, be prepared that you’ll need to provide all your own ice chests. The lady that was there making sure everything went smooth the day of wasn’t very friendly. She never once introduced herself to me (the bride) or my family.
They do proved a golf car as a shuttle to and from the parking lot which wasn’t told to us until the day of which is nice but I feel like you should tell your clients these things.
For the most part, everything was fine just communication wasn’t very easy with the venue and cleanliness was an issue. Them being a newer venue I’m sure they will get better as time goes on.
Beautiful venue, could not have asked for a better place to have the most special day of my life. Fantastic service with staff! Thank you all so much for letting us have our fairy ...
tale wedding at your venue!
I booked the Grand Ivory the second I saw it. The property is BEAUTIFUL. Breath taking views. They charge a good amount for the venue and restrict your day from 11 AM - 11 PM. For ...
an extra hour, i.e. showing up at 10 AM, it's $300, which is pretty steep. Also, if you have a Saturday wedding and they have a Friday wedding, you're either forced to rehearse on Thursday (or earlier) that week (didn't work for my out-of-town wedding party) or at another location and they don't reimburse you for this time lost at the venue. While sometimes hard to work with, they did help us with some things like the clean up plan and running extra electricity for my bands' light show. Also - the entire venue is do it yourself, which I loved about it since it gave me a lot of flexibility on making my day exactly what I wanted... but I had a few restrictions from the way the property was built. For example, the kitchen is not large enough for a caterer to cook onsite. They need to prepare all the food prior to arriving, so we weren't able to have beignets (specifically fried food) since they didn't have room to do it at the location. This venue is still pretty new so I think they still are growing and learning. All together, I would recommend the wedding venue, but I'd have a planner or someone review the contract prior to signing to make sure you get the most for your money and know exactly what to expect!
such an amazing venue! loved it. everyone was so chill and easy to work with! for sure recommend

ere are a lot of white barn wedding venues in the DFW area but I think what really sold my (now) husband and I was the separate chapel overlooking a gorgeous lake (it was also covered and could be adjusted for weather changes). We liked and really valued the idea of having two separate areas where we could actually host the ceremony as our vendors worked to complete setting up the barn for our reception simultaneously. The biggest perk was also getting the venue for the whole day where as many venues require you to pay unreasonable prices for additional hours and try to host 2 weddings per day if possible. We loved the adorable separate groom and bride cottages that are on the property as well. They are gorgeously decorated, extremely spacious and literally dreamy to get ready in. I would say the only negative thing about our whole experience was the fact that some sort of party was going on across the lake where they were playing extremely LOUD music which was audible to guests throughout the whole entire ceremony. I felt that communication through email was pretty prompt, however, there was an instance where I had some urgent questions and could not find a number listed anywhere on their website or any of the emails we have exchanged, which was a little stressful. Overall, we truly LOVED this venue and would recommend to anyone & everyone!

all was in place in the Bridal and Grooms cottages for our arrival times designated.
I can't say enough about this Venue I was very pleased and our Guests stated it was a hidden gem!!
Thank you! to The Grand Ivory Team for making our Memory book a success, we will definitely recommend you to everyone!

d made the process of picking a venue very relaxed. We had visited other venues with hidden fees and that made us feel pressured. Venue staff was easy to work with and accommodated return visits to plan our big day. The venue coordinator did two online meetings prior to our wedding to make suggestions for our layout and go over all the details and questions for the wedding (very helpful for us getting everything organized too!). We loved that the chapel could be enclosed in bad weather when we picked the Grand Ivory. Staff was on top of monitoring the weather for us. We ended up enclosing the sides because it rained early in the day, but left the views out the back of the chapel open. All of our guests told us this was the prettiest setting they had been to for a wedding! They also appreciated venue staff shuttling them from the parking lot. The reception barn is the perfect mix of rustic with classic sophistication. After dinner we had the best time celebrating and dancing with our friends and family. There is so many perfect spots for pictures on the property. The Grand Ivory feels like its own little wedding village. We love our wedding photos so much!!! All my engaged friends want their wedding at the Grand Ivory now! If I could give it a 10 star I would!
I was a bridesmaid for a wedding at the Grand Ivory in August. First, the venue has separate cottages for the groomsmen and bridesmaids which I thought was very unique. The cottage...
that we got ready in was adorable. There is the comfiest daybed on the porch to the bridal cottage that made for amazing pictures. The venue has a large golf cart shuttle that staff used to bring guests down from the parking lot.The ceremony was in the chapel. It is covered from the sun with ceiling fans which made it not too hot. The views in the chapel are AMAZING. We also took group pictures in front of the archway and the barn. The reception in the barn was very elegant. I love all the white and the chandeliers! Overall, we had the best day ever. I would highly recommend this venue.
I am so glad that I picked Grand Ivory for our wedding. Everything from start to finish was great. The venue staff was top notch in making sure I had everything set for the wedding...
day. Ashley helped me prepare the perfect layout and was quick to answer all my questions (she even answered my texts/ calls outside of business hours!) The Grand Ivory was also very accommodating with my crazy schedule, since I was planning my wedding from out of state. Thank you for making me and my husband feel important. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect wedding day!
Amazing, beautiful venue!!

dings. I especially loved that the chapel allows you to feel like an outdoor wedding but is still covered and has fans and a breeze off the pond. Ashley and her husband were good about responding and communicating leading up to the event, answered any questions, and I would definitely encourage you to go see this beautiful place for yourself!
We would not have had our special day anywhere else and the Grand Ivory was the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding. The bride and groom cottages were incredible during the day ...
and the chapel with the pond in the background was perfect for the ceremony. It was much colder than we expected but they had the window covers down so it stayed relatively warm in the chapel, mainly because it was packed full of people! We had our cocktail hour outside on the porch and it was big enough to accommodate most of our guests, besides the ones that were smoking cigars and playing corn hole in the string light courtyard. The inside of the barn had enough space for all of our guests and vendors and a good sized dance floor and believe me, we maxed the place out. I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else! The venue is absolutely stunning and to top it off the owners are just the sweetest; very accommodating and helpful! The Grand Ivory is the next big thing! We loved everything about it!
The Grand Ivory is absolutely beautiful!! I loved getting married in the chapel with the pond sparkling in the background. The reception barn is spacious and lets in plenty of ligh...
t, and I loved that they had farm tables and chairs already there for us to use. Ashley and Parker are wonderful. The only trouble we had was finding a time for my parents to visit the venue while they were in town - communication could have been better. All in all, I would DEFINITELY pick the Grand Ivory again if I had it to do over - it provided the perfect backdrop for our day!
The Grand Ivory was my dream wedding venue! Seriously. I found it while it was still under construction and knew (before I had even seen it in person) that I wanted to get married ...
there. From the moment we met Ashely (venue owner) all the way through our wedding, we just had the best experience with them. It is beautiful and it's owned by amazing people that are so great to work with! I would recommend it 100 times!

op, but I didn’t have to worry about rain or weather because the chapel just a few feet away was also so beautiful and provided a plan B with no hassle and no worries. The bridal and groom’s cottages are so cute and roomy for the whole wedding party and special guests to get ready in! Working with Ashley was so easy, she was always available to answer questions and help you find options to make the wedding day perfect! They were extremely well organized and made sure you knew the success of your day was a top priority for them!
