The Grand Lady is an absolute DREAM venue! We got married on September 6, 2026, and truly could not have envisioned a more perfect day. It was the first venue we toured, and we immediately fell in love with the historic charm of the mansion, its carefully curated spaces, the breathtaking garden, and the modern reception hall.
The mansion was perfect for getting ready the morning of our wedding. It has a stunning bridal suite, a kitchen made for breakfast and mimosas, and a spacious hangout area for the guys, with plenty of room for our large wedding party and family. Having so many spaces on one property made the whole day feel seamless, with different options and backdrops for getting ready, photos, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. We adored our photos in the garden and had a blast dancing the night away. So many of our guests have raved about how gorgeous everything was!
The venue provided tables and chairs for our 125 guests at both the ceremony and reception, and offers additional high-quality rentals you can add on. Their onsite floral team is also fabulous to work with and beyond talented. They brought our floral vision to life perfectly.
For guests, the venue is less than 25 minutes from downtown Austin. We coordinated shuttles for those staying downtown, and there was plenty of parking for anyone who wanted to drive.
Most of all, the team was incredible. From our first tour through our wedding day, they were friendly, communicative, and genuinely kind. They shared detailed information and vendor recommendations upfront, which made our planning process so much smoother, and they were always ready to help with any questions.
It was the best day of our lives, and we couldn't be happier that we chose The Grand Lady!

Where do I even start?! Our wedding at the Grand Lady was an absolute dream. Every detail of the property is immaculate and so well thought out — from the cozy bridal suite upstairs to the modern reception hall, you can tell their team really cares about you having the most perfect wedding day.
We had last minute changes in the weather forecast leading up to our wedding weekend, with scattered rain throughout the day. It really put our minds at ease that the venue has so many beautiful, versatile spaces — and their team went above and beyond timing set-up for our outside ceremony and cocktail hour to work around the weather.
We also loved that it is a dog friendly venue. It was so special to have our pup with us all day — a memory we’ll never forget!
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Austin, we cannot recommend the Grand Lady enough!

The Grand Lady is a family-run wedding venue on 20 acres of oak trees in Manor, about 25 minutes east of downtown Austin and 20 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom Airport. You get four settings in one place: a restored 1881 mansion for getting ready, a modern 3,400 sq ft climate-controlled reception hall, a half-acre flower farm with a 60-foot pergola for garden ceremonies, and the grounds themselves, with a ceremony lawn in the oak grove and courtyards for cocktail hour.
We host up to 250 guests, and the whole property is yours for the day. Weekend rentals include 14 hours (weekdays, 12), so nobody is rushing. Tables and chairs are included (wooden bentwood chairs inside, white chairs outside), along with cocktail tables and two bar fronts. If Texas weather has other plans, the reception hall and covered brick breezeway with a retractable roof give you a real rain plan, not a last-minute tent. Your rental also includes a one-hour rehearsal when no event is booked the day before, plus a complimentary hour on the property for bridal or engagement photos, scheduled ahead.
The mansion is reserved for you, your wedding party and close family: eight rooms for getting ready, photos and a quiet moment before the ceremony. Built in 1881, moved to our land in the 1970s and restored in 2019, she still gets the most compliments on her porch.
Venue rental runs from $4,000 on weekdays to $14,500 for peak Saturdays, depending on day and season (taxes and fees not included). Want to hand off the planning? Ask about our all-inclusive package, with our trusted partners for catering, bar, flowers, coordination and DJ (availability varies by date).
Our in-house floral studio works like any full-service florist, sourcing the best blooms from top growers. Then we add something no other studio can: flowers grown just for you in our own garden, cut fresh for your wedding. You get the full range of a studio plus garden-fresh blooms, so arrangements come out fuller and more personal than flowers that were all shipped in. Book your flowers with us and take $500 off your venue rental.
Good to know: Peak Beverage is our licensed bar partner, and you choose your caterer from our list of approved full-service caterers. A professional planner or day-of coordinator is required, and beyond that you can bring any vendors you love. The property and restrooms are ADA accessible, and parking is free on site.
Most guests stay in downtown Austin, near the airport or at The Domain. Rideshares are available, but allow extra time; some couples schedule rides ahead or book a shuttle. We also have a historic farmhouse lodging five minutes away for your wedding party (book it on Airbnb).
Besides weddings, we host elopements, rehearsal dinners, private parties, corporate events and photo shoots. We celebrate all love.

Just outside Austin, we sought to create a unique and inspired space, built to commemorate the poignant, meaningful celebrations of love that come with a wedding. Founded by Katie West, a former tech executive, and her husband Sean Kane, a former educator, The Grand Lady fulfills their vision of a warm and welcoming venue. Sean, a teacher turned farmer, manages our sustainable garden, supplying fresh flowers for our on-site floral studio. With a historic mansion and modern reception hall, our flexible venue allows each couple to personalize their day, celebrating love in all its forms in a truly inspired setting. tour. We loved the architecture of the mansion with the stained glass throughout and especially the green bathroom upstairs. The bridal suite is bright with tons of natural light, and the downstairs is perfectly moody. The house has so much character in every detail and has its own presence and personality. The reception hall is a perfect blank canvas with a modern feel that we could make our own. We loved the large windows at the back with a view into the trees. Our absolute favorite part, however, was the flower farm behind the buildings. It is a bit of a walk back there (and slightly treacherous in heels and a giant dress), but the walk is so worth it. By late March, the flower farm was full of brightly colored flowers, and we did our first look and most of our photos with family and the wedding party back there.
We went with the on-site floral team who were an absolute joy to work with. Kaitlyn helped bring our vision of a brightly colored Texas wildflower theme to life. She used a wide variety of farmed flowers to recreate the colorful vibe and uniqueness that goes along with the (somewhat odd) Texas wildflowers.
The Grand Lady has a list of required vendors. For the caterer and the wedding planner, it was required to choose from their list. Most of the vendors we worked with were from their recommendations and were great.
The one issue we had was that some of their policies changed and we weren’t notified. We booked the venue 16 months ahead of time, and over that period, a few of the policies and vendors changed. For example, the required Bar & Bev provider changed at some point, but we didn’t realize until about a month and a half before the wedding. At this point, we had already put down a deposit and chosen a signature cocktail. We weren’t notified directly about the vendor change, but figured it out when we were trying to contact the old vendor. In the future, I hope the Grand Lady notifies anyone who has already booked a date whenever policies change (especially if it was in the signed contract).
Despite a couple of road bumps, the Grand Lady was an awesome venue. It’s absolutely stunning with a specific charm. It beautifully changes with the season, but truly shines in the Spring. Our guests loved walking back to the flower farm and taking pictures during the cocktail hour, and we got so many comments about how much they loved the venue. It is a beautiful venue that helped our wedding feel so special.

From the first point in searching for a wedding venue, we knew The Grand Lady was it. The property was nothing short of breathtaking. There is a charming garden, expansive lawn, a ...
beautifully refurbished house alongside an expansive, elegant reception hall. We utilized the upstairs portion of the house for the girls to get ready, while the boys had multiple rooms downstairs to hangout in. All of the property was meticulously maintained and simply stunning.
The venue offered ample space for our guests, and the quality of add on rentals was high quality. There is also a huge stall of 7-8 air conditioned bathrooms outside the reception hall. This was a huge plus as our guests did not have to go far, could stay cool (Texas heat), and did not have to wait in line. The Grand Lady's team was exceptional through every step.
My personal favorite aspect of this property was the green bathroom in the girls suite. THIS BATHROOM YALL!! From the detailed wall tiling to the clawfoot tub, it is truly a perfect photo opportunity.
When booking with this venue I would recommend looking at the cost of their required/preferred vendors list. We LOVED all our vendors, but this was an unanticipated cost once we started wedding planning. There is a reason these vendors are on their list!
Overall, our wedding at The Grand Lady was seamless, beautiful, and unforgettable. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough for anyone looking for a magical and stress-free wedding experience!

To start, the historic house is absolutely stunning. It had ample space for me, my husband, and our wedding party to get ready comfortably. The bridal suite, in particular, is filled with natural light — it’s spacious, cozy, and made the morning of the wedding so peaceful (a very underrated part of the day!).
The ceremony on the front lawn was straight out of a dream. Our guests could not stop raving about how magical and beautiful everything looked when they arrived. Afterward, the courtyard was the perfect spot for cocktail hour, and the reception building was such a versatile and breathtaking space. The abundance of natural light and those gorgeous windows made the whole night feel warm and romantic.
One of the best parts of the Grand Lady is the team. Throughout our engagement, we spent several planning days on-site, and every time, the staff was incredibly supportive and helpful. I especially want to shout out Elena — I called her just four days before the wedding, anxious about the rising temperatures, and she immediately helped us come up with a plan. Thanks to her, we had beautiful umbrellas set up for cocktail hour, which made such a difference.
And finally… THE GARDEN. It's so beautiful it deserves its own sentence.

It is so special and convenient to have the reception and the ceremony all in the same location. The Grand Lady is close enough to the airport and the city, yet just far enough out of town to seem rural. The grounds were just as beautiful in November as they were when we visited in March and the reception hall is just stunning with the wall of windows. It is beautiful both day and night. The reception was so much fun and we received so many compliments from the guests. The bartenders from Lone Star Draft mobile bartending provided so much personality and fun, and the specialty drinks were far better than any I have tasted at a wedding. ts close to the city yet feels very secluded. We loved how large the property is so there is room for everything. We found it so special to be able to get ready onsite inside the mansion and that the flowers came from their own garden. Working with everyone on The Grand Lady team was easy as they are quick to respond and help with any of our needs/concerns. We did experience one minor issue as to our rehearsal day. We had scheduled our rehearsal via email and discussed at our final walk through a month before the day of the event. The day of the rehearsal we called to ask a question and discovered they forgot to schedule us to have our rehearsal that evening and now booked another event for the same time. Thankfully, they still allowed us to come and it was not a big deal, however we were confined to only the lawn area. Despite the small hiccup everything else was perfect and a lot of that is attributed to the phenomenal team and event space. Grand Lady truly offers everything you could need for a wedding making us confident in the space plus they provided an extensive list of vendors we could trust to create our dream day! Highly recommend having your wedding at the Grand Lady as it will be a place everyone will remember forever.

The combination of a southern mansion and a modern reception building offered us a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary amenities These 2 areas were separated by a meandering garden was just beautiful.
The availability of both indoor and outdoor spaces gave us flexibility regardless of the weather, which is crucial for Texas’s unpredictable climate. Ample room for our 80 guests gave us spacious yet intimate feeling setting, accommodating both the wedding ceremony and reception seamlessly.
The staff worked with us and our wedding planner to anticipate our needs and collaborated smoothly with our vendors such as caterers and musicians etc. They were very professional and made sure we had a smooth and enjoyable day.
Many of our guests told us that it was one of their favorite weddings to attend and I’m sure it was partly due to the Grand Lady’s professionalism, ambiance and overall enjoyment of the day.
The Grand Lady provided a wonderful and memorable wedding day for our daughter and her husband, which was ultimately the most important thing for us all.

n saw it in person and once we got to do a site visit, we were obsessed with the historical house and how it was complemented so perfectly by the modern event hall. Our biggest challenge was deciding how we wanted to use all of the spaces since there are so many good options!
Communicating with Christy from before we booked and throughout our planning process was a breeze - she was always super quick to respond and also worked so seamlessly with our planner. We felt like TGL had everything we needed, made it very easy to work with our other vendors, and overall made our wedding day so comfortable and stress free.
We wish we could get married there again because they're constantly improving the property and creating even more beautiful new spaces throughout!

From the venue, to the emotional ceremony, the flowers (omg the flowers - Shannon from TGL Floral crushed it), cocktail hour with lights, to the food (Royal Fig - delicious and hot) and the Blind Date Band (no words to describe the best band ever) and the sparkler exit - it was flawless! Plus the fact that you suggested the groomsmen using the Airbnb to shower after Skeet was a lifesaver!

athroom (yikes), and Dripping Springs is so far. This is a perfect distance from town and is so accommodating.
Space: One of the key words I had for my wedding was “accommodating” and the Grand Lady delivered. There is beautiful space to get ready, to eat in the morning, for several different photo ops across the different rooms and across the venue, and plenty of bathrooms for guests! Plus, when it flash flooded the morning of our wedding, we had several options to take cover and the covered awning space turned out even better than we imagined. Some other venues only had one plug for a curler (what??). The Grand Lady has it all.
People: Christy is lovely and really worked with us on what I understand was a HUGE installation. I know it must have been difficult to make it all work on top of the rain, but the team really went above and beyond to make it look seamless and beautiful.
Final word: It’s gorgeous. It’s got everything you need so you’re not rushing around on your wedding day, it has space to accommodate both your wedding party and the full guests throughout the day. Or if it rains :). And it’s run by a wonderful team. What’s not to love?

eye. As you get closer and look to your right, the more modern reception hall juxtaposes, yet perfectly complements the more traditional, southern feel of the venue. Overall, as far as aesthetics are concerned, if you're looking to have a classy/modern wedding feel with southern charm this is the venue for you.
From the beginning, we were kindly welcomed by the manager Christy and owner Katie who were accommodating and readily available to us. We highly recommend anyone who is interested to go to an open house which are occasionally held. This helped us with vision and also with meeting vendors.
On the day-of, we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue. We also felt at ease knowing how professional and flexible the staff were in case anything big or small went wrong. Lastly, from a photography-perspective this venue is excellent. Between taking photos inside and outside the mansion, against the backdrop of the trees, to the secret flower garden there are so many places to fit your vision of photos. We especially liked the photos in the library.
We will always think fondly back to our wedding at The Grand Lady and hope y'all will too.

Grand Lady fit every want that we had... big getting ready space, modern yet warm reception hall, having the venue completely to ourselves, and overall just the exact vibe we were looking for (not ranch style, not far out of downtown, etc.). On top of that, Christy the Venue Manager is the absolute best person to work with. She replied so fast, answered my 1,000 questions with so much kindness and was so flexible and accommodating. We had quite a large wedding party (16 girls getting ready up stairs and 16 boys downstairs) and there was more than enough room, bathrooms, and the full kitchen was amazing for breakfast/lunch for the bridesmaids. The reception hall is amazing, such a great blank canvas but so beautiful that you dont need too much either - it easily fit 150 guests and a band with plenty of room to dance and sit! I can ramble on for days about how it was the most perfect venue - I cannot recommend it enough. Just absolutely stunning and amazing venue and staff. We already miss it!
