We had an incredible experience using the Grand LV for our big day. Melanie was very personable and super helpful with every question we had and every step of our planning process....
I really appreciate that they have all of the tables and chairs already on site, as well as a kitchen which was super helpful for us as our caterers were friends and family. The venue is family owned and also wheelchair accessible. Through looking for our perfect wedding venue I didn’t find one other venue that had a ceremony hall, reception space, bridal and groom suites, as well as the bar, kitchen, and tables, chairs, and table linens. We also got to have planning tours prior to our wedding day which was incredibly helpful for planning out the layout and how we wanted everything arranged. The interior is absolutely beautiful and will be perfect for anyone who’s a fan of historical style architecture. It is so pretty we didn’t even need to get a lot of decorations. Can’t beat the price as well for everything you get! I will be recommending Melanie and the Grand LV to anyone planning their wedding.
We had our wedding over a holiday weekend, & it was relatively small, so I’m not sure if those were factors, but the owner Melanie was not the least bit interested in renting this ...
space to us. We went through with it anyway and she was quite unhelpful, and hard to get ahold of, through our entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. I would not recommend The Grand to anyone due to the owners overall lack of professionalism and communication

our day and leading up to it. I did not have a wedding planner and any questions I had Melanie had the answer and reassured me I wasn’t a bother. I cannot say enough about the Grand LV. The night before, we found out my Grandparents had their wedding reception in that very basement 65 years prior, which made it that more special.
The Grand LV is a beautiful and charming space, do not hesitate to book your wedding here. We wish would’ve had both the ceremony and reception in this location. From the chivari chairs to the separate bride and groom suites to get ready everything was perfect.

light was avaible and that made me excited. I contacted the owner, Melanie on shooting a styled shoot there. She was for it. I had so much fun capturing the many ways the venue can be used. They are great people to work with and have a beautoful venue. Did I mention the bridal suit is GORGEOUS?! You want to book them NOW.
This was the perfect place to have our Daughter wedding and reception at. The owners were so easy to work with.
The Grand LV was the first venue that we toured during our wedding planning and I immediately called and cancelled all other appointments. We were recently married on July 13 and t...
his was the perfect venue for both our ceremony and reception. What sold us was the beautiful space (that bridal suite is every girl’s dream!), the freedom to bring in our own caterer and the ease of arranging for the linens. Melanie was prompt to answer questions we had or to allow us to come back in while we were planning. We are overjoyed with how our day turned out and have heard what a beautiful venue we had from our guests countless times!
We just got married June 22, 2019. We chose the Grand LV for our small intimate wedding reception, so we thought, however our numbers kept climbing up and up. The owner was extreme...
ly accommodating and even though we planned around 100-150 guests, we ended up with a little over 200. Melanie was amazing to work with.
All the tables and chairs were provided and we ordered our linnins through her at such a reasonable rate. It was a cute and charming place with a large kitchen, adorable bar area and the perfect shabby chic feel for our rustic shabby chic theme! Also, changing tables in both bathrooms were so convenient bc we had tons of babies attend.
I'd highly recommend checking it out. I wouldn't change a thing about our day. Also, her recommendations for hair and flowers made it super easy to complete our look the day of!
Again, I can't stress enough how helpful, kind, and accommodating Melanie was. It really puts your mind at ease which was great when it came to the day of and I had a million other things going on! 5 Stars in my book!
