We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here this past Friday. The food was good, however, the groom's brother got into a motorcycle accident just a few days before the wedding. As soo...
n as we found out his brother and mom wouldn't be able to come due to the circumstances, I emailed the grand to ask to just remove those two meals due to the unfortunate circumstances. I was told that they could not remove the because they had already ordered the food but they would box it up for us. I don't understand why they couldn't remove the meals as the meals are all on their regular menu and we're not special ordered for this event. Furthermore, I told the waiters when they brought the food out to box those two meals up, however we never received them. So we got charged for two additional meals we never received.
Then to make matters worse, Sunday we went back for brunch before leaving town since it was so convenient to our hotel and received the worst service ever. The waiter and food were extremely slow to come out and two of our plates were delivered with hair in them. When we told the waiter, his solution was to bring us an extra plate. Not sure what that was going to solve. Then he supposedly informed the manager, but she never came to our table to check on us until after we requested her. Not the service or experience you want to have, especially after spending a lot of money at a place for an event.
