We had our wedding there the last weekend of September and it was breathtaking. It’s very apparent the thought and effort John and Allison put into making their property look perfect for the ceremony and reception. They are both super friendly and accommodating. All of my guests were amazed at how gorgeous the landscape was. The barn is beautiful with the wood and lights, especially at night! I got ready in the shed they have on property and it was very convenient for the bride party. I highly recommend taking a tour because you will fall in love with it. I’m very thankful to have met them and have our wedding at The Greenhouse!
The venue was absolutely beautiful, so green and lush! It is like being tucked away in a little oasis! All of our guests loved it! The owner is very responsive and keeps the grounds in incredible condition!

Nestled in the middle of the world's largest Ponderosa Pine forest in Pinetop, AZ, The Greenhouse on Woodland is a wedding venue that offers an unexpected delight for the senses. The beautiful, lush grounds of our hidden garden in the middle of our small working farm take center stage for your exclusive, intimate wedding. Our intimate nook in the forest is just that, and we suggest smaller groups of 50-70, although we will go up to 120 in some cases, but never over.
The manicured grounds are at once rustic and elegant. At 7000 ft., hot days are rare, and handmade steel fire pots take the chill out of our cool mountain evenings. Bistro lighting and thousands of tiny fairy lights wink down from the canopy of our garden trees, shimmering with the slightest breeze, creating an enchanted mood that will etch an indelible memory for you and your guests.
While we are located in a pine forest, for the past 70 years, our property was a working plant nursery, and our large front lawn was the specimen garden that hosts myriad plantings that are very different from what you would expect in our area. Your event will look more like it is in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by all that the delightful mountains of North Eastern Arizona have to offer.
We can help guide you through the entire process of producing your perfect destination wedding. We have a comprehensive list of planners, caterers, bartending services, DJ's, photographers, etc. to help make your day go as smoothly as possible.
We offer you discrete mood lighting throughout the property, a professional-level sound system with speakers in both the reception and ceremony areas, a wireless microphone, and tables and chairs for your guests. There is also an outdoor play area with horseshoes, bean-bag toss, and jumbo Jenga, a designated smoking area, and fire pots with plenty of wood.
We also offer you the use of our She Shack, a quaint, stand-alone tiny house with a kitchen and bath where the bride and her posse can comfortably get ready for the big moment.
We are pleased to announce that we have opened our beautiful new permanent reception hall. It features spacious windows and doors to take advantage of our reliable breezes and garden views, a built-in bar, prep and cleaning area, dedicated restrooms, high-speed WiFi, and phone charging stations. It also features a wraparound porch with seating. Our season will now be expanded from the beginning of May to the end of October annually.
Every wedding here is very special. We are very low-volume, hosting a limited number of events throughout our season for parties of fewer than 120 guests.

Owner
John Samora and Alison Stewart met and fell in love in midlife.
They bought the historic Pico's Nursery property in the spring of 2016 to start a small farm and event venue. They were their own first clients, getting married on the property and hosting a small reception for family, welcoming them to their new fairytale property.
They live, love and work here, growing fruit and vegetables on their property in addition to hosting memorable events.
Both are relaxed, respectful and are adept at creating a warm, convivial atmosphere for your event, and look forward to being your hosts.
