to the moment they finished - which is exactly what kind of party we wanted to throw! They were interactive with our guests in the best way and had an amazing energy that filled the room and the dance floor. They also MC’ed all of the other special parts of our night (the bride and groom entrance, announcements, dances, group photos, cake cutting, etc.) They are true professionals with amazing musical talent - Pierre and Kelly have great voices and the rest of the band played amazingly! On top of being amazing performers, they are all such nice people. I went up to each of them at the end of the night to thank them and they all had such nice things to say about the evening and how much they enjoyed it as well. If you are looking for a band for your wedding that does a great job and knows how to have fun with your guests - this is the band for you! evel. They interacted well with the crowd and played lots of "oldies but goodies". Some other fun moments included them asking us to sing songs, calling out people for having good dance moves, etc.
BUT we were also frustrated with some aspects of our experience. Specifically, we emailed with them in late November to figure out a few questions, and we had to email them again in early January before getting a response from the band. Further, we were hoping to play some more modern music that our friends would recognize and enjoy, but they responded that they needed 5 weeks notice to play songs off the set list (but they didn't respond to our email 8 weeks ahead of time until about 4 weeks beforehand). So, we audibled and asked for some specific songs on the setlist to be played, but not all of those were played either. That was a little disappointing on the wedding day to not have more music that people our age (we were born in 92 and 94) would recognize.
In sum, even though there were some communication issues, The Groove Motive did a great job bringing energy and entertainment to our wedding.

All the guests complimented how energetic and interactive the band members were with the audience. They even got my husband to play a set on the drums! The band will do everything and anything in their power to ensure that you get 100% exactly what you want. They are outstanding, talented musicians and each member is so incredibly gracious and eager to make the night unforgettable for you.
