The Grooveline Dallas

Guests to this day are still talking about our wedding band. From the beginning of our wedding planning, we knew we wanted our reception to be one live, lit party! And Grooveline Dallas was VITAL to make our reception just that- LIVE and LIT! We live in San Antonio, and I did an exhaustive search for wedding bands both in and our of Texas. I came across Grooveline Dallas and started playing one of their videos, I was actually visiting my parents that day, and when I turned on the video they got up and started dancing! I knew that was a sign, really the only sign I needed to book them without ever meeting them or hearing them live. The booking process was seamless with Laura (who is the assistant director of the band). She sends all necessary financial information and song preference information. I got to meet the band briefly before everyone entered into the reception space. I tried to express my sincerest gratitude that they came all this way to be a part of our day. It was like being front row to a live Whitney Houston, Chris Stapelton, and Lizzo concert at once. I wish we could have stayed in that reception space forever just partying all night. Thank you all so much for making the day SO memorable for us, our family, and friends!

The Grooveline Dallas had our guests on their feet dancing and signing the entire night! We are so happy we chose them for our special day and wish we could relive our celebration with them every single day. They will interact with you on the dance floor and ensure that the party stays alive the entire reception!

They were beyond fantastic and were amazing to work with!! If you are looking for a live band then they are it. They had everyone on the dance floor all night and they even learned a Grateful Dead song that my dad requested and they knocked it out of the park. I can’t recommend them enough :).

The band was spectacular, far exceeding our expectations. Many of our guests said The Grooveline was the best wedding band they ever heard. EVERYONE danced (and we are all old). Make sure you request Proud Mary. Even Tina Turner would be jealous.

I do not know how to make this more clear. HIRE THIS BAND. They just played my wedding this weekend and were amazing. Was flooded with compliments of their performance all night. Dance floor was packed the entire night.

The Grooveline played at our wedding on 1/21 and they were AMAZING!!! Laura (manager) was so easy to work with, responsive, and easily answered any questions I had. Jon and the rest of the band were extremely entertaining and talented. I have seen many bands at weddings and they are by far better than the extremely expensive bands. We truly could not have asked for a better band to play at our wedding! They were so involved with all of the wedding guests and we loved how they played all of our important songs live rather than pre-recorded. Hire them for your wedding 100%!

Book Grooveline Band - you will not be disappointed!!! First off, Laura is very responsive and incredibly easy to work with. She made the planning process that much easier. The band was absolutely incredible. They are amazing performers, engaged with the crowd, and got everyone on the dance floor. We honestly got SO many compliments about the band. They truly made the night amazing!

The Grooveline Dallas was one of our most favorite parts of our wedding reception. They brought the party and everyone danced all night long! They are so talented and truly amazing!! Our wedding would not have been the best night without the Grooveline Dallas!

We were so lucky to have The Grooveline Dallas celebrate with us for my daughter's wedding. The dance floor was NEVER empty. You know they are good when every guest tells you this was the best wedding reception they have been to. The Grooveline was fantastic, and a great time was had by all! They’re a terrific band – very talented and professional. They kept the “party” goingl. All our friends and family loved them. It was such a pleasure to be entertained by them at our daughter’s wedding.

I rarely write reviews, but Jon and the rest of the Grooveline team far exceeded expectations for our destination wedding in Cabo. From the start, Laura the band's assistant director was highly organized and helped us with the quote, contract, and all commercial matters – everything was very straightforward and fair. We wanted a simple all-in quote with a single price including all travel and expenses. They delivered that and stuck to it without any “trickle costs” surfacing later. Other bands we spoke with during the quote process only wanted to quote a performance fee with additional travel and equipment rental expenses “to be determined” after contract signing, which creates unnecessary uncertainty for planning and budgeting. With Grooveline, we didn’t have to worry about any of that. Everything was known and agreed to upfront. They were extremely easy to work with. We booked them “sight unseen”, meaning we had not heard the band play live in person until our wedding day. We assessed them based on YouTube videos and online reviews. Other bands “over produce” their online videos, so you really have to focus on separating the wheat from the chaff in terms of talent level of the vocalists and musicians. This can be a nerve-racking process chock full of second guesses, so let me put your mind at ease – the band looks and sounds absolutely amazing. We wanted a high energy party vibe, and they chose the perfect set list based on our loose guidance. We knew we made the right decision about 20 seconds into the first song of the night. Everyone was blown away and had a phenomenal night on the dance floor. The band’s performance was the highlight of the evening and an excellent way to cap off our wedding weekend. If they are available for your date, just book them! You will not regret it. Thank you Grooveline!

Jon…and every member of Grooveline…Your performance for Katie and Kirk’s wedding this past Saturday evening was by far the BEST entertainment I have enjoyed for any event I have ever attended. Thank you for your rendition of Sweet Kathryn (to tune of Sweet Caroline ) for our father – daughter dance with...it was amazing!! You and the band created so much energy that our guests could not get enough dancing and partying to your music! I simply do not know how the wedding could have been any better or more fun and the real credit goes to both the venue (Park City Club) and your performance. I wish we could do it all over again!! Please know I will happily serve as both a reference and ambassador for Grooveline!! Thank you is simply not enough…but please know it is extremely heartfelt!!

We so enjoyed Grooveline this past Saturday evening. Jenna's worries were quickly put to rest when the band started playing. The dance floor was packed all evening and our guests are still talking about how awesome Grooveline played. What a hit. Even this "old" dad danced. Thank you and it was so nice to meet you.

I highly recommend hiring Grooveline Dallas for your wedding. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. Jon (the Director) communicated well leading up to our wedding and was attentive to every detail. The band was the highlight of the evening. Their energy was contagious and they played a wide variety of music to relate to all age groups. I received more questions about the band than anything else at our wedding. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Stop looking for the perfect wedding band because you've found them! We booked the Grooevline in 2020, in the midst of COVID and were unable to ever hear them play in person, which was nerve-racking. But something about them made us confident and boy were we right. This band is INCREDIBLE and had our dance floor packed the entire night, including our 96-year-old grandfather. Their energy was unmatched and their voices were outstanding. All night and the entire rest of the weekend, people were coming up to us and saying the Grooveline was the best wedding band they had ever heard. This is saying a lot, considering a lot of our guests were from New Orleans and know great music. If you want a packed dance floor, HIRE THE GROOVELINE NOW.

WE LOVE THE GROOVELINE DALLAS! The Grooveline MADE our wedding reception! They were so awesome, our guests wanted to dance instead of sit to eat their meal! They performed all the best songs and kept the energy going all night. It was awesome to have live music for our first dances. They performed Alicia Keys- and it was just unreal!! About half way through the reception, severe weather and tornado alerts were going off on everyone's phone, and many guests decided to leave. The Grooveline were ultimate professionals and didn't let that stop the party! We kept on having a great time and we loved every minute of their performance! They even let us "sing" with them for the last song. That made us feel so special! I am so grateful they shared their wonderful talents with us! WE LOVE THE GROOVELINE DALLAS!! Do not hesitate a single second to book with them! They are incredible!

There cannot be enough amazing things to say about the Grooveline. My husband and I were in a different room when we heard them being piped through our venue and they truly sounded like a recording. They were perfect. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single guest stopped to say how incredible they were. Even an out of town guest asked for their card! They also surprised us and learned our first dance song which was monumental and the most beautiful surprise. They dressed so incredibly sharp and the owner couldn’t have been a more kind and calm soul. There is no need to search for any other band. I can confidently say that no one else would compare. I literally just got a text as I was writing this review saying, “We can’t stop talking about your band. They were the best band we’ve ever heard.” Thank you thank you!!!

The Grooveline was absolutely wonderful, we could not have been happier! The band was one of the most important things to us when finding vendors for our wedding. They were so professional and so easy to work with, they really made the whole process so easy. They were so accommodating with a few specific song requests, and in general were so great about catering the music played to exactly what we wanted. The Band has such a great range in the type of music they can perform - from Tina Turner, Lizzo, and Garth Brooks - they did it all perfectly and we loved that there were all different types of music that all our guests enjoyed. They are so talented and energetic, they kept everyone on the dance floor the whole time. All my guests had nothing but great things to say - everyone was amazed!

THE BEST PART OF OUR WEDDING!!! Grooveline put on an AMAZING show that had all of our friends and family (even those who don't dance!) on the dance floor all night long. We were amazed at how many of our guests stayed the entire time and everyone was so sad the party was over, because of our awesome band! They truly put on an incredible show; they dance, sing, interact with the crowd, and they also look stunning in their fun, yet still very classy outfits! The setlist they chose was fantastic, and exactly what we asked for. We loved that the band members followed us out during our exit and played as we drove away as husband and wife! So cool!!! All of our friends who had great bands at their weddings have told us Grooveline was the best as well! They are worth every penny and we will absolutely encourage every bride and groom to choose Grooveline!!

Booking the Grooveline was the absolute best decision we could have made for our wedding!! Jon was so easy to work with, and the band was spectacular! They were so much more than just a wedding band, they were full on entertainers and put on a show all evening! The Grooveline Dallas was truly the best wedding band I could have ever hoped for. First of all, Jon is excellent with communication and was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate special requests, one of which was to postpone my original wedding date. My husband and I were a little nervous the band would be too big for our guest count (ended up being about 100 after we had people drop out due to covid), but I have to say that Grooveline Dallas played to our needs perfectly. We have been to weddings before where the band is great, but they seem to make the reception into more of a concert for themselves than an event for the couple/their guests. Grooveline Dallas, on the other hand, had this amazing way of being incredibly entertaining without taking away from the focus of the wedding itself. Each of the performers is so incredibly talented and I can honestly say that our guests were on the dance floor all night. I had multiple people ask me who the band was and say Grooveline Dallas was not only the best wedding band they'd ever heard, but the best band they'd ever heard period. I cannot recommend Grooveline Dallas enough -- do not hesitate to book them for your big day!

If you are looking for a sign... THIS IS YOUR SIGN! The Grooveline Dallas was incredible. They kept the party rollin' all night long. Jon and the band were professional, on time, and were good sports through a COVID wedding. The Grooveline Dallas put on a show that we will be talking about for years!

The Grooveline made our wedding the absolute best party of all time! Every song was perfectly executed. They had the dance floor packed all night long. I am the pickiest person when it comes to wedding bands and they exceeded every expectation I had. The Grooveline was one of the BEST decisions we made involving our wedding. Jon Williams was so easy to communicate with and really understood what we wanted for our reception. From the get go, they had the crowd moving. They're all super outgoing and friendly, and definitely know how to pump the party up. Their rendition of our first dance song was AMAZING. Every time I look back on videos, I can't believe how great they sounded live. My dad (who is notorious for NOT dancing) had the time of his life dancing to some of his favorite songs. The selection of songs they have are great and different from other wedding bands. I can not recommend The Grooveline enough!!!

They were above and beyond. We had a beautiful wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Dallas. They were professional, knew how to work the crowd and had everyone moving and grooving till the very end! An amazing band was at the top of my list for "must haves" when planning my wedding. This band was the real deal! While my husband and I danced all night with our family and friends, everyone was coming up to me, telling me how impressive the band was. I had multiple wedding planners as guests at our wedding and they wanted all the details so they could recommend to their clients. One last thing I want to say is that their voices were genuine. I had one guest come up to me and say he thought they sang the songs better than the original artist! BOOK THIS BAND.

Jon Williams is a complete professional and a pleasure to talk with. He was very responsive. The band was great! Great playlist, wonderful musicians and singers. They got the party going and kept it in high gear and the audience had lots of people who have attended many weddings! I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

The Grooveline was all we could have ever hoped for and more! When planning my wedding, the thing that was most important to me was a good band. They definitely went above and beyond. Jon was such a pleasure to work with. He made it so easy! All night at our wedding people were asking "who is this band?", "this is the best band we have ever heard", "such a good band!" Absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, they were a joy to work with making the entire process incredibly easy and answering all of my ridiculous questions. Definitely night and day from the other bands we inquired with for our wedding. They even learned a Bruce Springsteen song requested by my dad. We got married 2 months ago and I’m still hearing about how great the band was from our guests!! High energy, awesome playlist, and still jealous of their dance moves!

Fabulous band - very engaging with wedding party and all the guests. Super talented vocalists and instrumentalists. I’d use them again with no hesitation! We danced most of the night due to the energy and excellence of this group.

This band was amazing! We searched high and low for a great quality band to help celebrate our wedding, and boy oh boy did we get one! We were blown away. The singers were outstanding, the musicians were great, the variety of music the band was able to cover so well was astounding...we have gotten so many compliments on the band since our wedding in September. Jon was an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning, suggesting great ideas that added to our vision and made the party even better! Besides marrying my wife, choosing The Grooveline as our wedding band was the best decision I made for that day. After the big day, we received so many compliments about the wedding and they all started with "That band was amazing..." The dance floor was packed all night and even when the band took short breaks from playing, they helped keep the energy up by dancing and interacting with everyone. Also, Jon was great to work with start to finish. Without me asking, they came out to the venue beforehand to make sure that they would have everything that they needed. They took care of MC'ing, lighting, etc. Even things that I didn't think of, they already had a plan in place. They also helped coordinate string music for our ceremony. I could not recommend this band any more! 10/10

I see a lot of 5 ratings for bands out there and I am sure that they are very good, but believe me, The Grooveline is the band that you want! On a 1 to 5 scale, The Grooveline is a 10! The energy that this band brought to my daughter’s wedding reception was simply incredible. The dance floor was packed all night! No one wanted the night to end. During the week after I have talked to many people who attended the reception and the first thing out of their mouth has been “the band was amazing!”

The Grooveline played at my event May 2018. The band was high energy and fun. Very professionally run and easy to work with. The song selections were vast and they were able to satisfy the musical taste of all who attended. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Grooveline Dallas performed at my niece's wedding reception last month. The dance floor stayed full throughout the evening, and we all had THE BEST time.
