The Grotheers

The Grotheers did the most amazing job photographing our wedding this summer! The photos are beautiful and perfectly captured our day! Even better than how great of photographers they are is how great of people they are. They are so easy to work with and always go above and beyond. They get to know you and listen to what you want and what’s most important to you and then work their magic. They also do a great job of making sure the posing is in line with the couples personalities. Whether you want simple, natural photos or more dramatic, posed photos, they’ll make sure they turn out to be amazing! They’re respectful of timelines and your guests and are good at directing people for picture posing when needed. Professional but super friendly and genuinely good people. Don’t hesitate to book them, you won’t be disappointed!

Andy and Laci were the best photographers to work with on our engagement and wedding pictures. We constantly get compliments on our images! They were so flexible with all of the changes and arrangements in the midst of a pandemic. The pictures they captured on our wedding day and bridal shoot tell such a beautiful story that I can’t wait to share with our children, and future generations to come. We are truly so thankful to have had them capture such a special moment!

They showed up as our wedding photographers and left our friends! Laci and Andy Grotheer are very rare as far as wedding photography goes anymore!! They were on time, very professional during the entire event, and literally captured EVERY MOMENT, which is very hard to do for a wedding because so MUCH is going on!!! Because of this incredible, Godly couple, my husband and I now have beautiful pictures that capture every part of our wedding day for the rest of our lives! When you are the bride and groom, the day goes by so fast, and it is hard to take everything in. The Grotheers made it possible that even though we couldn’t physically take every single moment in, we have pictures to help us relive that amazing day FOREVER. As a bride who had to pay out of pocket for most our wedding, prioritizing a good portion of your wedding budget for the wedding photography is money well spent and we don’t regret it at all. Cake, the dress, and even the venue are gone after the wedding, but pictures WILL LAST FOREVER. Not only did the Grotheers deliver in a timely manner but they interacted with our guests, family, and wedding party like they were a part of our own family. I wish there were more stars to rate these incredible photographers! The photos we got from them not only captured all the moments, but were such high quality! I would be HAPPY to show off my photos to anyone who is wanting me to check out their work. Everyone at the wedding was blown away by their work and those who did not attend as well. Do yourself a favor and hire top tier wedding photographers like the Grotheers. It’ll be a relief to look back at their work after your wedding and know you made the right choice!

The Grotheers are absolutely amazing. They provide such a fun and up beat atmosphere. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable. They are very passionate about their job and it really shows through their work. They go above and beyond to make sure they capture every detail/ moment of your big day. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I knew Andy and Laci were the photographers for us from our first email exchange, and it was solidified during our first call with them. It was relaxed, it was fun, and at the end, Gus and I just looked at each other and said "it felt like we were just hanging out with friends." So that's what we became. We had so much fun working with them, but not only that, we felt like we could be ourselves. Gus and I are goofy, and instead of asking us to tone it down, The Grotheers told us to amp it up. They captured our wedding day so perfectly. Every single detail got its money shot, got appreciated. That's all I wanted. There were so many moments I thought I saw, but there were even more that I didn't, and they captured those moments. In my opinion, there is no better wedding photographer. They are, hands down, the absolute best. They're professional, get things done in a timely manner, fun, and accepting. We could not be happier with our wedding photos if we tried (trust me, I saved over 500). Thank you, Andy and Laci. I had seen posts from The Grotheers pop up on my timeline several different times when I decided to follow them one day. THANK GOODNESS I DID! Shortly after my husband proposed, I began searching for photographers and what exactly we wanted out of the photographers we would be hiring for such a special day in our lives. I probably researched around 15 photographers, reached out to seven of them for inquiries and The Grotheers were the only ones who, a) responded in a timely manner to my inquiry, b) accommodating to our circumstances (living in Texas but getting married in KS), c) reasonably priced (yes, you pay for what you get, spend the money on items that are important to you), d) talked with me through emails/texts to accommodate our schedules and what we wanted the day of our wedding. Andy & Laci are more than just photographers, they have become good friends of ours and we can’t thank them enough for the amazing photos we received after our wedding. We still get compliments on how well they flowed with the day of the wedding and how great our photos looked. I have given their names out several times to friends of mine who have recently got engaged as we can’t recommend them enough! There are not enough words in the world to explain how grateful we are for Laci & Andy and all they do for not only couples on their special days but families, seniors, mommas, etc. they truly are the best! I know we will be reaching out to them when it comes time for us to have our own family and to have photos for a lifetime! ❤

We hired the The Grotheers for our wedding this past October and they were so wonderful to work with! We worked with Andy and not only is he an extremely talented photographer, but he is an all around awesome guy to work with! He is so nice and adaptable and he was so invested in making sure that he took all of the shots during our wedding that we wanted. During our wedding day, Andy was a calming presence and was never overbearing or in our faces. He worked with us to get great shots and then was all around the wedding for the rest of the day making sure that he was getting the best posed, and candid shots that he could. My husband and I absolutely love our wedding photos and how they turned out. We will cherish them forever!

We loved having Andy and Laci capture our special day. They not only created the perfect photo album but also made it so that the whole process on the day of ran SO smoothly. Being comfortable and making sure the bridal party was stress free was definitely one of the main goals for the day, and they helped achieve just that! Thank you so much again! LACI AND ANDY ARE THE BEST EVER!!!! They happened to be mutual friends, so I thought, "Huh, I'll reach out and see what happens." Turns out, that was the best decision I could have ever made. They are incredibly talented, captured every moment we wanted and more, and our now some of our sweetest, most valued friends. Their thoughtfulness and kindness extends beyond what we could have imagined, and while their prices are more than reasonable, I truly would have paid triple, plus an arm and a leg to have them photograph our wedding. It brings me to tears to think we were lucky enough to have them there on our special day, and now we have memories captured on film, and friends to last a lifetime. Laci and Andy we LOVE YOU!!!!!!

They were Awesome! So kind and personable (: they were such a great team! Took the time to get all the pictures we wanted and made everyone feel special! You can tell they love what they do! Would highly recommend them to anyone. Plus the sneak peek I’ve seen of the pictures are amazing ❤️

The Grotheer’s went above and beyond to make sure our day was memorable. Both Laci and Andy were not only professional but also so incredibly intentional. They also worked so fast in getting us our photos back without compromising the quality!

Andy and Laci are an amazing hubby/wife photog duo; I can’t recommend them enough! They are such skilled photographers (and totally awesome humans). The photos they took at our wedding captured every inch of our day soooo perfectly from beginning to end! AND they even helped coordinate and keep our entire bridal party on track with our timeline. 10/10! I’m so thankful for them and will definitely be hiring them for more events in the future.

The best photographers I’ve ever experienced! They make you comfortable, listen to you, what you want, and make sure to capture every perfect moment. They make the day as stress free as possible for the bride, which was a huge lifesaver with my crazy family. Both my engagement session and wedding day were so perfectly captured thanks to The Grotheers! They were also extremely well priced. Everyone I received quotes from were almost double what I was quoted from The Grotheers. Between the price point, the support, & the true happiness they bring for your big day, it was a no brainer that The Grotheers were the right choice.

I cannot say enough good things about Laci and Andy! Even before the wedding they made us feel comfortable and excited about our pictures. On our wedding day it felt like we were just hanging out with friends and having a blast, and I know our guests felt the same way. They have very unique perspectives as individuals and as a couple which makes for very unique pictures, no two couples will have the same picture! The pictures are even better than we could have hoped for, and we are still continually getting complimented on how beautiful they are! Not only did we get amazing photos we also gained two amazing people as friends. 10/10 highly recommend!

WOW. The Grotheers were a dream to work with and communicate with pre-wedding day. They made us feel so confident and relaxed leading up to the day. And then the day of was absolutely perfect. They were present in all of the tender moments I wanted documented, without taking away any of the intimacy. Our photos turned out so much better than I ever imagined. Our wedding pictures turned out amazing!! Andy and Laci are such awesome people with huge hearts! Without any hesitation, they were willing to drive 3 hours to our venue for our big day. The Grotheers were absolutely amazing and they exceeded all of our expectations. Andy and his (almost) wife laci were the perfect duo! They have the best personality and they both were always laughing and smiling. Each picture they took they had more and more excitement on their face (which made taking hundreds of pictures so much fun!!) and oh my gosh the pictures turned out absolutely perfect. Andy and Laci are SO much fun to shoot with! They were willing to travel to Kansas City for our engagement shoot, and it was a blast. I'm not 100% comfortable with the idea of being in front of a camera, and they totally put me at ease. They're so sweet, genuine, and hilarious. Seriously, you'll probably find it hard to quit laughing during the shoot. If you want to share your day with a FUN couple who will deliver an amazing gallery, look no further!

Andy and Laci are great to work with! They worked hard to photograph our whole day and made us feel so comfortable. They were totally committed to their work all day and made sure to get all the shots we wanted- and we had a huge family to photograph. Not only were they amazing to work with leading up to and during the wedding, but our photos were absolutely beautiful- like something out of a dream.
