nd flash floods on the day of our wedding and had to pivot from the original outdoor wedding and dinner plan we’d wanted to have, and the best thing about the Guenther house was that with our wedding size (~35), since we rented the whole venue, we had the flexibility to have the wedding dinner upstairs in the gorgeous upstairs room which just happened to perfectly match our color scheme. I’m so relieved moving indoors was an option for us - if we’d booked one of the other venues we looked at originally, we wouldn’t have had the flexibility to move indoors, so everything worked out perfectly!
Donna and Nicole were so nice when we toured in person after we booked the venue. I definitely recommend doing a walkthrough of the venue with Donna and Nicole before the wedding (and the caterer, if applicable) if you’re planning to have a wedding there. They gave us some great tips.
We used one of the Guenther House’s approved caterers, True Flavors, and that worked really well for us and the food was delicious. If you book the Guenther house and don’t use the Guenther House’s catering, all tables, bar service, drinks, glassware, etc. will need to be rented from the caterer.
Please note that if you want to have dinner on the top floor indoors like we did, there aren’t any elevators, so guests will have to climb a few flights of stairs.

autiful. We were able to take our family portraits in the incredible parlor museum - can't wait to see those photos. Dinner under the arbor had the perfect ambiance and soft lighting - and everyone stayed dry. We used the downstairs dining room for cocktail hour and went back up to the roof garden for toasts, cake, and dancing. The entire space was perfect for our 60 guests and everyone commented on how beautiful the house is. A big thank you to Nicole, who was amazing to work with and so accommodating to all of my questions and requests. Highly recommend this venue for any couples planning on a smaller wedding!
