The Hamill House Museum, built 1867, and located in the Historic town of Georgetown, Colorado, is a spectacular mountain venue property that boasts expansive green lawns, manicured gardens, majestic stone outbuildings, beautiful trees and a 19th century fountain. Located 45 minutes west of Denver, we are the perfect choice for those wishing a unique mountain experience. We are inclusive of all. Our staff will work with you personally to ensure every detail is taken care of. Whether your dream wedding is casual or elegant, our unique mountain property will provide you and your guests with memories that will last a lifetime. We provide a number of different options and pricing for your unique day. We are primarily an outdoor venue for up to 200, with the rental of the house available to guest counts of up to 50. This place has the most special place in my heart. We got married here on 09.17.2022 and it was pure perfection. I'm still dreaming about it! The Hamill House team, Nancy and Eva, are nothing short of fairy godmothers who were so great to work with. I cannot give enough praise for all their love, support and efforts to making our big day magical. Every detail was thought out and they were so great to work with in planning, prepping and on the day itself. Suffice to say we would have been lost without them! We were engaged for 2 years and visited here multiple times during the prep and every time has been memorable and breathtaking. I'm still hearing guests say they've never been to a more beautiful wedding venue! There's no doubt when you visit you will fall in love.

This venue and the help of Janine could not have been a better experience for our planning and wedding itself. The day of, was the most beautiful day for our ceremony and reception. My family and guests are still talking about how great everything was that day. To anyone who wants options, this place has them. The historic site was amazingly accommodating, and the photos in and around the grounds are welcome memories for years to come. Honestly, this was one of the best days of my life spent here at the Hamill House in Georgetown.

The Hamill House is a amazing wedding venue that will not disappoint!! I got married there in September and it was perfect! Amazing location with great view of the mountains. Janine is great at making everything go as smooth as possible.

The perfect setting for a special wedding. Nestled in the Colorado Rockies, the Hamil House and the Andersen Park served as the gorgeous backdrop to a wedding of two artists with elegant taste. The Hamill House staff took care of every detail to ensure that the wedding of close family and friends were able to enjoy the highly anticipated union. Can not say enough about how well we were all cared for. Thank you! MOtB

The Hamill House was a dream venue for both my husband and I, because of the beauty and the Colorado history within the town of Georgetown and Hamill House itself. The grounds are beautiful and scenic with the mountain views in the background and the Hamill House is so stately and gorgeous in all the photos. We had classic Colorado weather where it was sunny, foggy, then rained all in a random pattern through the reception, so we had a tent on the lawn and it was beautiful and didn't impede with the view of the historic house and other buildings on the property. The photos, even ones from friends and family, were so gorgeous because of the scenic mountains behind the beautiful historic house. I am waxing on about this - but it really makes for some amazing photographs!! Janine from Hamill House made everything easy. I wasn't even worried day-of because I felt we had handled everything so clearly ahead of time. We didn't have a planner and between Janine, the caterers, my husband, my mom, and I - I felt confident in how the event would run and it ran so smoothly! There was a moment where my husband and I went upstairs during the cocktail hour to have a private moment to eat our appetizers and cheers to our future and Janine popped in with cold water and to make sure we were okay. I felt my needs were met not only in terms of beauty but organization. Additionally, we were a COVID-19 pandemic couple who had to postpone and the Hamill House was a wonderful team to work with through that scenario. Both through the upset of postponing and figuring out our new date, I felt taken care of as a bride and client. I cannot recommend the Hamill House enough! Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be and this venue was a delightful part of that. I strongly recommend it if you are looking for beautiful mountain views and a historic property.

Janine at the Hamill House was an absolute dream to work with! The renovations they are doing to the House as well as the grounds are making the venue even more beautiful! We opted to have our ceremony only here but it is a perfect place to have ceremony and reception all in one location! They are accommodating, quick communication and will bend over backwards to make sure your day is absolutely perfect!! Hands down recommend this venue for your perfect and stress-free day!!
