I cannot say enough good things about Justin! When we saw his style of photos we knew Justin had to be our photographer, and I am so glad we picked him. My husband and I are not big into photographs, but Justin made us feel so comfortable. He had the best ideas for what photos to take and where and all of the details in between. We love our photos that he came back with. They truly show us as a couple, and we couldn't ask for more. I will recommend Justin again and again!

Justin was a dream to work with! My husband and I worked with Justin for our wedding this past October and he captured the whole weekend perfectly. After meeting with Justin and getting a feel for his photography style and bubbly, outgoing personality, we knew immediately that he was the right choice to be our photographer. My husband and I aren't the best at being in front of the camera and certainly not used to having a camera around us for a whole weekend, but Justin was the best at making us feel comfortable and getting us to be our natural selves for the pictures. Logistically, Justin was also amazing at keeping us all on track / on time while getting every photo in our shot list. We got our photos back this week (less than a three week turnaround time - that's unheard of!) and I haven't stopped looking at them since. Every photo is so gorgeous and perfectly capture all the smiles, laughter, and beauty of the weekend. I'm so grateful to have these photos to cherish for years to come. Thank you, Justin!

I was really nervous going into our wedding week. I'm not someone who enjoys having the camera on her. Justin's charismatic and kind personality made it SO easy to be the center of attention. I not once felt uncomfortable. We got our wedding photos back and WOW. Justin captured our happiness and love so perfectly.

We hired Justin from The Happy Bloom for our 2020 wedding that got postponed to 2021. He was so easy to work with when we decided to postpone our date due to Covid. We just got our wedding photos back and we were blown away. He captured our day perfectly. They turned out more beautiful than I ever imagined. I love that he also took photos of little moments with our guests. I didn't expect that and I will cherish those forever. Not only is Justin a great photographer, but he has the best personality. Photography was one of the most important elements of my wedding and it was one of the first vendors I booked. I worked with my wedding planners (Pure Luxe Bride) to find our photographer. When I was speaking with our planners I let them know that detail shots and being able to feel emotion in photographs was of the utmost importance to me. Knowing this my planners said the best person I could work with was Justin at The Happy Bloom. I had an introductory call with Justin and he completely understood my vision, what was important to me in photography and he kept me laughing the entire time we were on the call. I booked The Happy Bloom the second we hung up the phone and couldn't wait to take our engagement photos with him. We took our engagement photos in June of 2020 and Justin put both my husband and myself at ease. We went to the cutest places in Downtown Charleston to shoot and the entire time we were with Justin it felt like magic. Again, he made us laugh the entire time while capturing the love and excitement between my husband and I. Of course when we got the pictures back they were stunning because Justin is the best. The experience with Justin on our wedding day was incredible. He was there to capture every moment between my husband and I. He arrived early and took the most incredible detail shots. He captured the spirit and excitement of our first look, which is one of my favorite sets in all the photos that were taken that day. Justin was there for it all and I will always be able to remember how I felt through out my wedding day because the pictures that Justin took exude emotion, which is exactly what I wanted for my photos. I was incredibly anxious to receive our photos and when we did they were more incredible than I can even describe. Justin and Amanda perfectly captured our outdoor wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston! The pictures are absolutely stunning and we could not be happier with them! The hype is real y’all - the happy bloom is the real deal and the best photography team in the game! I originally chose Justin and Amanda to be my photographers for my wedding based on their beautiful film photos and from the high recommendation from my wedding planner. After talking with Justin on the phone, I knew it was the perfect fit. Justin is hilarious and makes taking photos so fun. Justin and Amanda make you feel so comfortable, are so fun and easy to work with and they are also incredibly professional at the same time. We did both our engagement session and wedding photos with them and they are hands down the most AMAZING pictures I have ever seen. My (now) husband and I booked The Happy Bloom for our intimate wedding in Charleston. Justin is AMAZING! Besides being insanely talented, he's got such great energy and made us so comfortable the entire day. Also—2020 wedding, so of course we had to reschedule. Justin was super flexible and we had no problems re-booking with him. All of our photos were stunning, we could not be any happier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Justin and Amanda are an absolutely amazing and professional photography duo! I fell in love with their light and airy style and attention to details, immediately, when I was searching for the most perfect wedding photographer for our wedding. All of the previous glowing reviews are completely true- Justin and Amanda are THE BEST! Choosing The Happy Bloom was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I was a destination bride and all of our communication was over email and Justin could not be warmer or more helpful. We felt very overwhelmed and out of our element, but they absolutely put us at ease. They instantly make you feel comfortable by just be conversational and encouraging and that calmed both me and my fiance's nerves. Everyone feels awkward in front of the camera, but you can trust that they will get amazing shots. Honestly, you basically just have to show up and they will make you look beautiful! Their work speaks for itself- seriously, it's editorial/magazine quality work. We haven't stopped looking at our pictures since we got them last week. Planning an elopement in Savannah while living in Pittsburgh was super stressful at times, but Justin was absolutely amazing to work with. From the first email to sending our finished pictures, I knew we were in good hands. Justin was always super quick to answer emails and incredibly kind to work with. He made everyone feel comfortable, and he fit right in with our small group. I honestly could not have asked for anything more, and these are pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime.

WOW! Justin and Amanda were absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful for them and their talent. From the first time Dean and I met Justin, we mnew that We had chosen the right photographer for our special day. And boy were we right. The timeline ran so smooth and I never once felt rushed to get pictures done. They were so helpful and easy to work with. I will start this off by saying that all of my Grandmother's girlfriends refer to my wedding as the "celeb wedding" all because of the photos they saw done by The Happy Bloom. Picking a wedding photographer was one of the hardest decisions for me to make out of them all. There is so much pressure put on picking the team who will capture the most important day of your life the exact way you want it to be captured and have no chance at a re-do. (no pressure guys, ha) I loved their work from the get go but after our engagement session in 97 degree heat with 93% humidity I thought to myself- no one can make that look good. When we got the photo's back I was OVER THE MOON with how crisp and how beautiful they were. Justin and Amanda are such professionals and I could not have been happier with the way they were able to capture those moments that made our wedding day so special and signature to us. Trust me brides- these two are the real deal!

Oh my gosh, where do I begin? The Happy Bloom was the best decision me and my fiance made during the wedding planning process and the easiest vendor to work with by far. Justin and Amanda made us feel comfortable even though we are super awkward (haha). We figured we would only like a handful of our pictures from our engagement session (refer back to the part about us being awkward and not knowing how to pose under pressure). We loved almost all of them and even the ones we didn’t like of ourselves were still really good because Justin and Amanda just have a way of making each and every picture beautiful! Our wedding day was hectic because I decided to play wedding planner instead of hiring one. Justin and Amanda not only take amazing pictures, but they calmed all of my nerves! Amanda helped me move around in my gigantic dress and Justin made sure my family got their uber to the ceremony in time. Hire The Happy Bloom to capture the most important moments of your special day, you will not regret it.

I could not rave more about how fantastic Justin and Amanda are! Each and every photograph from both our engagement session and wedding looked like they were right out of the pages of a magazine. We live in Ohio and were planning a destination wedding in Savannah. We read reviews on and looked at portfolios from a number of different photographers in the Savannah area. When we saw The Happy Bloom's photos, we instantly knew that they were very talented and wanted them to do our wedding. When we met Justin and Amanda, they were very friendly and easy to work with. They were both very laid back but also very professional. We had rain on our wedding day and were very concerned about how the photos would turn out. They did an awesome job of working with what we had in terms of weather and when we got the photos back we were extremely happy with how they turned out! We had many comments on how great the pictures were, and on top of that we got our photos back very quickly. Perfect. That is the first word I think of when I think of The Happy Bloom and what they are able to achieve through their photography. The longer version, I think fate had a hand in our luck to work with Justin and Amanda at The Happy Bloom. We were in Savannah working on the plans for our destination wedding and after an awful meeting with another photographer in town, my fiancé at the time tried to keep me calm by calling every other photographer in town we could catch. My first call was to The Happy Bloom. I had loved the airy, glowy, romantic feel of their photos and thought if I could be so lucky to work with them, I would jump at the chance. Minutes later Justin called me back and offered if I was free he would be happy to meet us for coffee to talk! Meeting him felt like we had met an old friend. Justin is not only incredibly professional, polished and with an impeccable portfolio, he is one of the most genuinely kind people I’ve met in really long time. Justin and Amanda made it so easy to work with them. Everything was so organized, it made the process a breeze! I am also super grateful we decided to do a ‘first look’ as well. I had held out wanting to be a traditionalist, but when all is said and done, seeing my now husband calmed my nerves, made the moment so much more private and personal and let us attend our own cocktail hour and party. I decided that feeling rushed on my wedding day was not what I wanted. I wanted to savor each moment and a first look helped us to do that. Justin and Amanda perfectly captured the most important day of our lives showcasing our love with beautiful light-filled photos we will cherish forever. Justin and Amanda are absolutely amazing!! From the beginning I couldn't have asked for someone easier to work with. They made the process simple, which is great for a bride planning a destination wedding! They were very flexible in our hard to get to locations, as well as working around our schedule to get us in for engagement pictures, and bridal portraits. Best pictures ever!! Justin and Amanda did the most amazing job at my beach wedding. They made the colors stand out and had some awesome black and white photos. they are super easy to work with and captured all the special moments during the wedding and reception. The photos that the photographer and his wife were able to take, from the first Bridal Portrait to the hundreds of photos of the wedding, were exactly what my daughter wanted. Justin thinks "out of the box" and has wonderful ideas to get just the right photo with perfect timing. Honestly, you could not ask for a better photographer . They make sure to fulfill every expectation you have of them. They are SUPER fun to work with and just amazing overall. I don't even know where to begin. I have never been so more comfortable around someone who is taking my picture more than I am around these two. They make you laugh and "be your self" which is the most important part of a beautiful picture. It's not a simple "okay, look at the camera and smile".. It's "act yourself, don't look at me, I'll take care of that part". And it comes out perfect! They are down to earth and are very professional. They take care of you in a photoshoot and make you feel like there is not even a camera there. I enjoyed every minute I got to be with The Happy Bloom. My pictures turned out magical. Everyone always looks at my pictures and says "wow, who took these" that's the first thing they see is how beautiful the pictures are and who is responsible for that?! The Happy Bloom! That's right! When anyone ever ask me what I think about them or their work, all I have to do is show them one picture and they are inlove. Yes, I would recomend The Happy Bloom to anyone. Engagement pics, Weddings, Family days, Senior pics, pretty much anything and everything you want. I can't wait to see what else the future has in store for them. Anything is possible with this kind of talent! :)
