The team at the Hartford Club and especially Carole the manager did an outstanding job to make it a memorable evening . Many compliments were received on the food which is difficul...
t to pull off with large crowds. The fillet and shrimp main entree was delicious !!!
The best option in the Hartford area by a long shot. Things you do not have to coordinate: the cake, tables, chairs, tablecloths, table numbers, silverware, and napkins. This is al...
l baked into the very reasonable food costs. That's all you pay for really, what food you want and the alcohol. The building is 50,000 sf, of beautiful mahogany finished rooms, and you and your guests will have sufficient well appointed space for whatever you need. The bridal suite has two bathrooms and has been recently renovated, very comfortable for early preparations and storage. Another HUGE perk is that as long as they don't have a Sunday Event/next day, you don't have to set up and take down all in one day. Carol and her team is tremendous to work with, the food is gourmet and so well done. The space is beautiful and they really do take care of everything for you. Our guests have raved it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and its all thanks to the Hartford Club.
It was spectacular. We did not have to worry about a thing. It was beautiful and everything was as we had chosen. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Food was out of this w...
orld, thank you Chef Trip.
Megan and Melissa made sure my daughters wedding went off with out a hitch.
We had our DREAM wedding at the Hartford Club last weekend. Our guests are still raving about it (and so are we).
We had only visited a few other venues before touring the club, ...
but as soon as we saw it, and met Meg (event and catering sales manager), we knew that we had found the perfect one, and our search ended much sooner than anticipated (yay). Meg is so knowledgeable, professional, genuine, and easy going. I thought I would be a nervous wreck throughout the entire wedding planning process, but working with Meg completely calmed my nerves. Whenever we had trouble making a decision about any small detail, Meg offered her opinions, and we trusted them wholeheartedly. It is so clear that she loves what she does, and that she truly cares about making your day beautiful and special. Whenever we met with her, she would comment on how surprisingly calm we were about everything, but really, so much of it was due to her!
The venue itself is gorgeous, and we pretty much had the entire building to ourselves the WHOLE day, which, from what I’ve heard, is virtually unheard of. Meg and the club staff are also so flexible about everything, letting us make some major decisions just a day before the wedding. The food/cake were also fantastic. We had such a hard time selecting our menu items after our tasting because everything was so delicious. The wait staff was wonderful too. Really, every person we met at The Hartford Club was so charming and personable (special shout outs to Meg, Melissa, and Tara) What an amazing team :-).
Oh-and another important note to those looking into getting married here: my husband and I actually had FUN on our big day 😀 (another aspect of our wedding that I’ve heard is pretty rare!). Thank you, Hartford Club, from the bottom of our hearts!
The Hartford Club was wonderful! They are a great value for all you get. The staff was gracious and accommodating, the food was amazing and the space was beautiful!
My Husband and I got married this past June at the Hartford Club. Living in Hartford, we wanted to have a place that would have everything; such as, outdoor ceremony space, separa...
te room for cocktail hour, and reception areas. Not to mention they also provide on- site parking, which in Hartford is difficult to find. This venue had it all. I also had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Hall, the catering director. Ms. Hall was communicative, and a true professional. She made great suggestions and accommodated the space for our guest who are handicapped. She is truly the best! Also, the FOOD, was AMAZING and consistent. Our guests stated that the food was delicious, and the best "wedding food" they've had. Everything went as planned, and I could not have asked for a more spectacular day. I wish I could get married all over again.
Choosing The Hartford Club for our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made! We immediately fell in love the the beauty and charm of the elegant club and quickly fell...
in love with the staff. Elizabeth is extremely knowledgable and helpful and was always quick to respond. From the day we booked right through the reception we never had a worry. We knew she had thought of and planned for everything and we were well taken care of. The food and service was top notch and we are still hearing compliments about them!
My husband and I held our reception and rehearsal dinner at the Hartford Club over Memorial Day weekend. We were given first class treatment and our coordinator Elizabeth Hall was ...
able to turn all of our ideas into reality. I am so extremely pleased with everything that The Hartford Club was able to do for us and cannot thank them enough for their hard work, delicious food and beautiful historical ambiance. I recommend them wholeheartedly to couples in Connecticut who are looking for a piece of history, attention to detail and the utmost care and consideration. THE BEST!
We recently had our wedding at The Hartford Club - and cannot say enough good things about the venue (and it's staff). Christine is a gem, and made the entire planning process as ...
smooth and easy as possible. The food was great (and not just for the tasting, the day of too!) The Hartford Club provides incredible ambiance with an incredibly reasonable price. We couldn't be more pleased!
I cannot say enough good things about The Hartford Club. From the very beginning, the coordinator was a breath of fresh air to deal with. She (Christine) was so on top of everythin...
g, from the day I took a tour, to the actual wedding day. She bent over backwards to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The food is phenomenal, and because we got married on a holiday weekend, we had the entire club to ourselves. One of the main reasons we picked the Hartford Club was because of their cigar lounge adjacent to the ballroom, and trust me, it did not disappoint!! The day of the wedding, we made a quick decision to move the wedding inside instead of out, because of the heat and possible thunderstorms approaching. I was not disappointed- the interior provided just the look we were going for!
The food was fantastic along with the decor and setting. They lost our cake topper and would not credit us the money it cost to replace it.
