- Leslie KuhnOwner, Designer & CuratorA Native Houstonian, Leslie Kuhn founded THE HAT CHICK™ with a desire to bring a carefully curated collection of hats to the Houston market. Having developed a love of hats from time spent in Colorado and Mexico, she came to appreciate a wide array of hat styles, brands and adornments. As her personal collection grew, Leslie felt that when shopping for hats locally, she struggled to find a store offering a wide variety of designers, custom designing and hat accessories under the same roof. A vision began to develop, and THE HAT CHICK™ was born. Leslie is married to her husband, Mike, who can often be found popping into the storefront to greet customers and with her at events. Together they pride themselves in working private events to offer the classiest of hats to make any event more festive. Serving clients with high levels of customer service while offering timeless, custom designs, Leslie is proud to be THE HAT CHICK™.
