e answered my text and calls at all hours of the day and night, and even learned everyone in our wedding parties names. I was so impressed with her professionalism. The entire team was so helpful from Chef Renee to their preferred DJ. Truly an amazing experience with ZERO hiccups or errors on our wedding day.

Gorgeous venue that keeps you and your party with some privacy since you’re the only ones there on wedding day unlike other venues like hotels, resorts, etc. They worked really well with Something Borrowed/Bloomed to get all our florals and rentals setup. Their wedding planner Cece was a dream to work with. Their cook is incredibly talented and our guests said it was the best steak they’ve ever had. My day was incredibly smooth and I never had to stress a thing. Heitman House is a perfect venue and I highly recommend to any bride looking for this type of venue on the water!

majority of the wedding planning period, I was pregnant lol (so you can only imagine all the extra anxiety & stress!!) We booked our venue in Jan 2021 and got married in March 2022. Every single email I sent, had a response within the same day or first thing the next. I felt so in the loop with every decision & option I had. The venue was so well kept & clean, my guests felt like they had plenty of room outside and loved that there were couches inside as well if they got too hot! The food was to die for (everyone is still talking about how good it was!!!) and the open bar option was truly amazing! I could not have imagined having a perfect, no bump in the road wedding but The Heitman House made it all happen! 10/10 recommend. I’m already thinking about renewing our vows here when the time comes and we’ve only been married for 3 weeks lol!

The Heitman House accommodated the early arrival we needed. The food and drinks were exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make our day so special. A prime example of this: as it was getting closer to midnight, the staff went up on the roof and threw NYE necklaces down to our guests! This was the icing on the cake to a great night. Plus, they were so easy to work with, timely responses, and beyond knowledgeable, which made the wedding planning A LOT less stressful! And if your someone who likes to make sure your money is going to a business that is run by genuinely good and hard working people- The Heitman is it!! My now husband and I were set to get married on May 24, 2020. Then... Covid. We were in the midst of trying to figure out what the best decision would be for us, our family and friends, as this was set to be a destination wedding. We had been hearing all of the nightmares other brides were going through during this time with venues and vendors not willing to work with them, offering no other options or refunds. Stressed was an understatement. I would like to give a huge shout out to the owner, Jeremy. Jeremy took the time to not only keep us informed with the latest restrictions, Covid cases, etc., but also made time to give my husband and I his full attention to talk out how we were feeling about everything. What seemed to us like such a hard decision pondering all the “what if’s”, to postpone or keep as planned, Jeremy made so simple. It became clear that May 24th was just a day and what was important was having our loved ones around and safe. Jeremy did not make us feel pressured to keep the wedding in May or guilty about contemplating postponing the wedding. Even thought this was his business and livelihood also being caught in a whirlwind, he truly made us feel like he put our special day first and we were going to figure it out together. Jeremy took such a huge load of stress off of our shoulders and we cannot thank him enough for just simply understanding and doing whatever he could to make sure we still had a perfect day! And perfect it was!!! Our wedding day coordinator was Cece and she was AMAZING!! She manages people well and also helped with some last minute decor/set up ideas! I hate to admit that when we were planning, the food didn’t much matter to me because I thought “no one ever really talks about the food...” Thankfully, my husband took charge of what we chose for appetizers and dinner, and THE PEOPLE TALKED!! We still have people tell us how amazing the steak was! And they didn’t just talk about the entrées, but the appetizers were also incredible! Again, we cannot thank the Heitman House enough for making all of our wedding day dreams come true. The Heitman House and the staff will always hold a special place in our hearts. Cheers to you all!

nd the Heitman house. This venue is not only historic and beautiful, but from start to finish you get the best wedding experience you could ever ask for. Jeremy, Cici, and Lexi have really gone out of their way to throw dream wedding. We would do it again it was that great. They were flexible with our needs, they had fun ideas for us to add to the wedding, and they really take care of a lot of the event in house; ceremony setup, food, reception setup, scheduling and detailing, they can do it all. We recommend going to one of their events and meetings all the vendors, we had help from everyone we met there. Limilu photography captured great shots. Lhegend officiated a great wedding ceremony. Juan Gomez was the best dj, not only did he play great music, but helped with getting my wife and I drinks, food, and any song we requested. Something Bloomed floral is better than the photos, send them ideas and they will get it done. The food is all good, get the skirt steak and tortellini, you will not regret it. Overall we want to thank Jeremy and Lexi for working so hard to help us get everything done. This is something they really take a lot of pride in, and you will not regret it having your wedding with them.

, Jeremy, Cece, and the rest of the Heitman team were amazing to work with. Jeremy was very easy going, and made sure whatever I wanted for that day, that it would happen. This venue truly made me feel like they cared about our wedding/reception and wanted to see that we were happy and it was everything we envisioned. Even with postponing our date, the Heitman team allowed us to do this effortlessly. The location itself is beautiful. They do a great job keeping the house updated, and the backyard is just stunning. Many guests complimented on how great the food was, and we still have friends telling us it was one of the most fun weddings they have ever been to! They are so well connected in the wedding industry as well, and know a TON of fantastic vendors. We love the Heitman House!

eitman House. We toured a few venues in town and I was looking for something sweet and romantic and our search ended as soon as we toured the Heitman. From the very beginning, Jeremy was very responsive and professional, outlining all the costs and providing services like DJ and catering in the budget so we didn’t have to run around town trying to confirm different vendors. He was also the only venue we talked to that felt genuine and easy to talk to. A month before the wedding, my planner fell through and Cece came to my rescue. She helped me plan the remainder of the details and organized my vendor list. I had a few last minute ideas (sweetheart bench, table decorations, chandelier) that Cece was able to secure in time for the big day. I had so many last minute questions that she was able to help me with and calmed my nerves. It felt like she was celebrating with me when I found things I liked and made the planning enjoyable (I tend to procrastinate). Now, ladies and gents, let me tell you about my wedding day. I felt like a literal QUEEN. I didn’t worry about a thing or lift a finger unless it was to hold my champagne. It was so fun to look over the backyard from the bridal suite to see all my ideas and plans come together. I was looking at my video and pictures and there is not a single frame where I am not smiling. I don’t think Cece took a seat the entire day, she was always a step ahead of the timing to make sure everything ran smoothly. If anything did go wrong, I honestly didn’t know! All the food was hot and delicious (we had guests contact us to tell us afterwards), the DJ was fun and had people dancing all night, and I was able to soak up every moment with my new husband and all the people we love. I was talking to my mom afterwards and she was so overwhelmed by how beautiful the venue was and how kind and courteous the staff was. The venue honestly speaks for itself, you can tell Jeremy takes pride in the home and has done a lot of work to preserve its natural beauty. I could go on and on but at the end of it all, I HIGHLY recommend this venue and these people.

Cici was the most amazing help with decorations and helped set up to make our day look absolutely perfect. Jeremy the owner even cooked some of the food for us and our guests, SUCH GOOD PEOPLE. He truly cares about each couple that walks into that house, and will do everything in his power to make the experience and wedding day a great one. From the beautiful historic home itself to the grounds, decor, lights, and attention to detail....just perfect. Jeremy I can't thank you enough for helping to make my daughter's day so special. ed to make our day amazing. In the 11th hour my hair/makeup artist didn’t show. Jeremy was able to get 6 people to come do hair/makeup and we got 7 girls ready in 2 hours! Truly a miracle. Our venue, food, and service provided was amazing and all our guests LOVED it all. By far my favorite day ever and Heitman House made it come true!

Jeremy who owns the business greatly exceeded all of our expectations. Come wedding day, he was always there to make sure everything was taken care of. was incredible. This venue has it all: amazing waterfront views, incredible food, top of the line staff, huge upstairs for the bridal party to get ready, openness & flexibility, and LOVE! For anyone looking to get married in the SWFL area, RUN to the Heitman House. It does not get any better than this place.

e food would be incredible when we attended the tasting put on by Larry and hosted by Audra. There we were served full portions of every appetizer and entree we had chosen (plus one surprise). Wine was provided as well and we enjoyed the entire tasting (held inside the Heitman House). Having the food prepared onsite worked wonderfully for us. The owner / chef is one of the best chefs in Fort Myers. I would happily order this chicken dish at any restaurant in town were it available. His special table bread has to be tasted to be believed. Overall, I can't wait to try his new restaurant downtown, Flattop Larry's, when it opens.

e home were all things that our guests commented very positively on. Second, working with Larry and Audra was fantastic. At first, I was a little worried as the wedding coordinator changed two weeks before our event, however Audra stepped in and helped Larry in executing our event flawlessly. The food prepared by Larry and his team was the best food we had ever had at a wedding. It had such great flavors as was the perfect temperature when it came to our table. So many of our guests commented on the fact that they were extremely impressed with the food. Larry & team were a huge part in making our wedding perfect!

events are held on the lawn in the back. It is filled with palms and tropical vegetation. A long walk way begins from the back of the house all the way out to a beautiful pier that goes into the river. There is ample space for tables food stations bar dance floor tents etc. The on-site coordinators are very helpful and handle all activities as they relate to the site (coordinating/working with rental company caterer decorator etc.).
