HI! I'm Lori, the owner and lead creative for The Hidden Daisy design studio. My story begins with my grandfather who owned a flower shop in Neptune NJ for 40 years. With greenhouses and design, my roots run deep. , At the age of 19 I dropped out of college and pursued my dream of owning a flower shop. I purchased Roses and More and operated that busy flowershop for 10 years. I then relocated to Long Valley NJ and that brings me to today, starting up once again with a new mission focusing on events and weddings. Small or Large my goal is making magic through flowers for your special day.

She took my vision and ran with it creating something even more beautiful then i can imagine. She was always quick to respond and even helped me through when I was wedding spiraling! I was immensely lucky to have Lori and hidden daisy as my florist for my wedding in July 2024. From the moment I met Lori on zoom and through every wedding planning moment in between, she was just incredible. She makes you feel like not only is her job important to her but your wedding is important to her. She supported me in my big change from all white and neutrals - to color and vibrancy. She took my vision and ran with it creating romantic, beautiful and whimsical florals for our wedding. The amount of compliments I received on how beautiful our florals was endless. People really were amazed with all she did. Beyond being insanely good at her job, Lori is just so kind. She helped work with us on our budget, helped us honor my late father in law in a way that felt beautiful and meaningful and she helped make every moment leading up to the wedding exciting and fun. She was texting me pictures as the flowers came in and really by the day of the wedding she felt like so much more than our florist, but really even a friend. She even stayed behind snapping photos of me and my dad while everyone was walking down the aisle and they are some of my favorite pictures. She created the best potted plant seating chart with about one pinterest picture as a guide. Lori is honestly the best, I've remained in contact with her to chat flowers and she has even texted me to wish us a happy one week married. Lori pays attention to her clients in a way that most of the wedding industry does not. So many vendors make you feel like a number , Lori makes you feel like a friend. Book her!!!!! You will not regret it. I could only attach pictures from friends/family because we haven't gotten our photos yet but she is honestly one of a kind! You will be thrilled/lucky to have her as a part of your team.

Lori did the most beautiful job capturing my wedding floral vision-from the type of flowers, colors, candles,, to overall design! She had me in tears when she brought my wedding bouquet to me … absolutely perfect! She was able to repurpose some of our ceremony flowers to the reception which was nice too. Our guests loved taking the bud vases with them from reception. As I type I’m on the plane flying home from NYC with my bouquet (3 days later) & still getting compliments on how beautiful they are. I couldn’t bear leaving them behind in the hotel. THANK YOU!

Lori and the Hidden Daisy made our wedding day look and feel so magical! The flowers and colors were mesmerizing when I walked into our venue, and I loved all the special touches that Lori did to make our venue look incredibly beautiful and personal to us, including adding a violin and a stack of books that reflect me and my husband's passions. Lori also designed a tree to be placed in the fireplace behind our sweetheart table that was absolutely stunning! Our guests gave us so many compliments. Lori is the sweetest, easiest to work with, and will make your wildest dreams of how you envision your flowers to come true!

The Hidden Daisy absolutely nailed it! The owner, Lori, doesn't feel like a vendor--she feels like a best friend. I think she was just as excited about my wedding as my maid of honor :D I even messaged her in a panic the night before the wedding because I had realized I forgot to hand in my final payment to the venue, and because she knew my wedding coordinator personally, she reached out to her on my behalf and assured me everything was fine! The flowers were absolutely stunning, just what I envisioned, made the whole venue pop, and were reasonably priced considering other quotes I had seen. If you choose The Hidden Daisy as your florist, I can guarantee you will be SO glad you did. The whole process from start to finish was amazing.

I cannot put into words how absolutely amazing Lori and the Hidden Daisy is. From day one Lori was super kind and personable, transparent and quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. She worked with my ideas and gave honest advice, worked with my budget and created florals that were unique and perfect for my wedding day. My sweetheart table was absolutely stunning, the ceremony arrangement, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnières, EVERYTHING was beautiful. Lori and I clicked immediately. I was looking for something less traditional than the typical wedding and so I had very few inspo pics to show her from Pinterest. She was able to piece together my vision from descriptions of shapes, colors, adjectives, and some artefacts. Most florists couldn't do an all-local, foam-free wedding during a massive heat wave in July but she did. She is creative and loves what she does, and it shows in all of her work. I'm the kind of girl who dreamed about my wedding florals for 15 years and while I worked very closely with her from the beginning to the very end she still managed to blow me away on the day of my wedding. Everywhere I turned I was in awe of what she and her team created. She truly cares about her brides and makes them feel happy and beautiful. She adds personal touches because she makes a point to get to know her brides. She has the experience to solve problems so no one can tell, the creativity to make your wedding unique to your personality, and the skill so that you know you'll get quality work. The only part of the entire wedding process I was never anxious about was my flowers, or, whatever Lori was handling.

Lori is a true artist, and cares so deeply about her couples. After the first phone call, I stopped my search for a florist and knew I had to use her. Her work is impeccable and absolutely gorgeous. She allows you to be so involved in the flower process, and makes sure that you are in love with your flowers. She was prompt getting to my venue to set up, with the biggest smile on her face. Lori provided the MOST BEAUTIFUL florals for every part of our wedding! She worked with us, kept communication easy, and even stayed around on the day of our wedding to repurpose pieces from our arch for our sweetheart table. She is insanely talented- everyone kept talking about the arrangements (especially toffee and kahala roses). Lori will make you feel like family from the second she meets you. She becomes invested in your love story and event and puts her heart and soul into every. single. detail. What she does is true artwork, nothing less. I’m an artist myself and I’m normally very particular about every little detail but based on Lori’s work I was able to confidently give her complete creative freedom to design my event for me. Lori was a dream to work with! I knew I wanted the flowers to be the star of the show at my wedding with tons of color to create a garden feel! As I’m someone who doesn’t know a ton about flowers going in, I trusted Lori based on the conversations we had and pictures I showed her and she made my vision board come to life!! She was as excited as I was about the florals which made the design have such a personal touch. She sent sneak peaks once the flowers started coming in the week of the wedding which meant a lot to me, and was hands on setting up the day of. Since I was unsure of what I wanted, she surprised us with the design for our sweetheart table which was more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am SO happy I decided to go with the Hidden Daisy and definitely recommend :)

To say Lori went above and beyond is an understatement. From the minute I spoke with Lori, I could tell she truly cared about each one of her brides. She took the time to really understand what we had pictured and dreamed of for our wedding. She didn’t mind the phone calls or hopping on a zoom to discuss final details. Lori was a delight to work with through our wedding day process. Her work speaks for itself, simply gorgeous. She was willing to work with me through several revisions on quote and very accommodating with my budget. Her style naturally is more on the whimsical side, which was exactly what I was looking for regarding florals. Lori even helped with placing our DIY centerpieces out with the venue coordinator, which was so helpful. Lori kept me updated through her order and design process and showed me sneak peaks of things as she was working, which really put me at ease. We had a short timeline to plan our micro-wedding and Lori immediately put our fears to rest. Working with Lori was an absolute DREAM! My wedding was impacted multiple times by COVID - our original wedding was scheduled for 4/25/2020, moved to November 2020, and finally happened in July 2021. I am not exaggerating when I say both my husband and I view Lori as the MVP of our wedding day. She was simply amazing. Great energy, friendly to everyone, and on top of all the moving parts that accompany a wedding. Not only was the floral work breathtaking, but she was also the most personable vendor I have ever worked with. We were a bit beat down by all the planning and replanning, and she made everything easy and seamless. She was accessible when we were deciding on the direction we wanted to go and was also able to pivot quickly when a summer storm caused us to reconfigure our seating plans just a few days before the event. It was such a blessing to have one less thing to worry about with wedding planning because I knew Lori was on it. If you are on the fence with a floral vendor for any occasion (especially if it's a stressful one!!), trust me when I say you will not be disappointed in choosing the Hidden Daisy. Just had our wedding of 100ppl. Lori's flowers looked great, red and white roses, mums to line the aisles and exquisite centerpieces. Great price for all the flowers we had. Very professional and hardworking. There were some extra things to do on the day of the wedding which was at a personal family residence. Lori took the time to help out and alleviate some of those extra tasks that she didn't need to. She's the kind of person you want to partner with and she made our special day pop with color! She also sent a teaser trailer of the flowers beforehand to get us excited! Really loved working with her. The arbor was also supremely created and decorated.

Lori is sweet and very easy to work and communicate with, extremely flexible and goes above and beyond in all aspects.
