The Hidden Meadow and Barn

Hidden Meadow & Barn is the place to have your wedding. I rarely like to use words such as perfect or excellent when describing an experience, but this is an exception. Our wedding day was delayed due to family health issues this year. Thankfully we were able to move to a new date. The location is so well maintained, and the location is like a slice of heaven on earth.

We absolutely loved everything about Hidden Meadow! This was the first and only venue we toured because we fell in love with it right away. The scenery and layout were ideal. We loved how everything for the day was right there! They gave us our most perfect fall wedding! Not only is it beautiful, but they are wonderful to work with! They put up with all of my questions and always replied in a timely manner. They made anything we wanted, happen! It was so nice to know that they took care of so much on the wedding day. The option of renting the farmhouse on the property was amazing, we loved being able to stay right next to the venue the night before and night of the wedding. Hidden Meadow will always be a special place to us! Thank you Angela + Adam!

I couldn’t have had a better venue! The colors and day was absolutely perfect! The communication was amazing as I could call or email and get a response within 24 hours. The flexibility is fantastic as I always had a lot of questions and she was super understanding and accommodating. I might have had to book out 2 years in advance but it was 100% worth the wait. My guests loved how close the ceremony was and the space to roam around through out the night. The Price is well worth what you get for the venue. If you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor venue like I was was with flexibility with food and alcohol, this place is your place!!

We got married in September and we couldn't be happier with the venue! The staff was SO helpful and Angela, especially, was so organized and ready to answer any questions! It was a stunning place to get married and we wouldn't change a thing! Something to think about before booking is that we couldn't have our rehearsal at our venue since there was a wedding the Friday before. We also could not stay the night before our wedding at the farm house or cabins since priority goes to the people having the wedding before us. We had to stay in a different hotel and then move everything and everyone to the wedding venue at 10am (that's the earliest you can get in unless you pay for an earlier time). Just something to think about and plan for. Otherwise, everything was beautiful!

Awesome wedding venue! The staff and owners were so helpful the day of the wedding. Preceding the wedding, the owners were very organized and helpful with all of the planning and booking of vendors. The venue itself is picturesque and was the perfect place to create new memories. The wedding cottages were very helpful for getting ready, and had everything we needed. It's very convenient to rent out the farmhouse and neighboring cabins for family. 5/5 stars, awesome wedding venue!

September 2023 Bride Here! I have nothing but fantastic things to say about The Hidden Meadow and Barn. It is the most spectacular and breathtaking wedding venue I’ve ever seen, and I was so proud to show it off to my guests. From the beginning, Angela and the staff have been nothing but exceptional. Communication was never an issue; it was easy to schedule a tour and book – and in planning meetings Angela brought up important questions I would have easily missed on my own! They also provide so much useful information, from hotels in the area to recommended vendors (of which many we booked)! On the day itself, the staff worked so cohesively I rarely had to answer questions about what I needed or wanted throughout the day – they communicated with the other vendors and my point person seamlessly, directed my guests throughout the night, and helped make the ceremony & private vows go off without a hitch. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the bartenders as well, they were truly amazing and seemed to have fun with everyone there! I can’t say enough about the accommodations and the venue itself. Every building, every corner of this property is breathtaking. The ceremony site is still being talked about amongst my guests! The tall grasses and old stained-glass windows helped it feel straight out of a movie. We loved the bridal cottages and the farmhouse, too! It was so nice to have everyone together in one spot to get ready, and a place for our families to go at the end of the celebrations. Everything is so thoughtfully designed, from the bathrooms to the multiple photo ops they’ve created – it’s a dream. Booking The Hidden Meadow and Barn was one of the easiest decisions we made, and through the process remained one of the best! I’d recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

Angela and the Hidden Meadow and Barn team were super helpful leading up to the wedding. Angela answered questions and concerns leading up to the wedding and communicated well with me! On the day of the wedding, the staff was always there and always helpful. I had the most wonderful day of my life there. It is beautiful and such a perfect place to get married. My family had never been to the venue and were skeptical about having my wedding here, when they arrived on the day of they were nothing but gushing compliments about the place! If you're wondering why Wisconsin, I ask why not?

Angela and her team were amazing from the day we met to the final moments of the wedding night. They are incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. The months leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself couldn't have gone more smoothly. I truly couldn't have asked for a more supportive team and I am thankful I was able to work with them. On top of the amazing team, the venue and landscape surrounding it are both stunning. There truly isn't much you need to add to the venue with it's charming buildings, elegant decorations, and gorgeous scenery. They have done a wonderful job and have made the venue a unique and gorgeous experience. The hidden meadow and barn was a great place to get married. The setting was gorgeous and we had many comments from guests that they felt like they were in garden. Some guests also stated that it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. Angela was easy to work with and responsive to phone calls. The staff at the venue was very kind and worked well with us the day of the wedding. My only complaint is that they wanted to dressing rooms cleaned up before the ceremony. This really put us in a time crunch and was frustrating as we needed to use the space to touch up after the ceremony.

Absolutely beautiful venue! We had to plan our wedding out of state and Angela at Hidden Meadow made it SO easy with her organization and clear communications. A lot of the necessities were there: clean bathrooms, getting ready cottages, covered dining area, lighting. We had the most magical wedding. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved working with The Hidden Meadow and Barn for our wedding! Angela was always reachable, timely in responses to our questions, and thorough when discussing plans for our big day. On the day of, communication was seamless and from a brides perspective, everything went very smoothly. We were worried about the weather and having to transition our ceremony "indoors", but Sophie constantly monitored the radar throughout the day and kept us updated - thankfully we were able to use the beautiful ceremony space. Last, I cannot tell you how many guests complimented the venue and asked how we had found it. We would 100% recommend having your wedding at The Hidden Meadow and Barn!

Ya'll this venue is everything. We had the most perfect day, and our guests RAVED about how beautiful the venue was! All of the yard games were such a fun addition to the evening, they were all played by our guests! Angela is so great to work with, and communicate with. She is literally amazing. The staff that was on site on the day of the wedding was so helpful too! 10/10 for sure. We loved that you do all of the alcohol through them, we didn't have to worry about a thing or haul anything in/out. We stayed in the farmhouse on site and that was so perfect to just walk up the hill at night and keep the night going with our friends who stayed with us. Everyone should book this place! Pepin is such a great area too, all our guests made a weekend out of it and enjoyed their time!

This venue is gorgeous! Angela, the owner, was very good at communicating and helping plan everything. My day of coordinator, that came with the venue, was amazing as well. Super helpful and very nice. We had TONS of compliments on the venue and how gorgeous it was.

Hidden Meadow was truly a hidden gem. I found out about Hidden Meadow from a friend, who actually happened to have their wedding the weekend before ours. The location was perfect - as many of our family and friends were traveling from larger WI, Twin Cities, or Nebraska. It was a nice middle ground for most. The venue offered all of the amenities we were looking for. Angela was incredibly helpful and flexible to ensure our wedding was truly captive of our needs as a queer couple - and ensuring our wedding party and guest felt welcomed and comfortable. Almost every aspect of the wedding was our own creation. We grew our own flowers, created our own center pieces and signage, ever detail was intentional. The BWCA is a significant place in our lives, as we got engaged there. Therefore, having our canoe be apart of the wedding decor was essential. Angela suggested that we hang it above the wedding party table. It turned out to be the cherry on top. We draped homegrown hops and vines - macramé candle holders and lanterns from inside. Our guests cant believe how beautfiul the venue and our decor was. Having an outdoor fall wedding was our priority - if that's yours, a little get away to Pepin, WI is the right decision. We also rented an AirBnB in town, where we hosted our rehearsal dinner, and our entire wedding party stayed. Having a community based wedding was our priority. Hands down - the view, the amenities, the staff was an absolute steal of a deal.

We couldn't have asked for a venue for our day. From the very beginning, Angela was responsive and always more than happy to answer any questions we might have. If we wanted to visit the venue a little unexpectedly, she always did whatever she could to make it work. The day of staff were also phenomenal, they always made sure we had everything we needed in the bridal suite/groom's cottage and checked in with us several times throughout the night. I also can't say enough how gorgeous Hidden Meadow and Barn is, it rained on our wedding day but the rolling hills, fall leaves, and the ceremony grass made all our pictures absolutely magical. You won't regret booking your day at Hidden Meadow and Barn!

We fell in love with this venue the moment we toured it. Every corner of the property provides amazing photographic opportunities. We had to postpone a year due to COVID, and the owner, Angela, worked with us to make the date change fee as minimal as possible. She is a great communicator and was immensely helpful in the whole planning process. While it rained on our wedding day, hardly any of the guests realized having the ceremony under the pavilion was plan B. It was so nice to have our immediate family stay in the farmhouse and many of our guests filled the cabins owned by the neighbors next door.

I found the Hidden Meadow and Barn on social media long before we were engaged, and knew it was a place I needed to see one day when looking for a wedding venue. We toured it when that day came and I immediately fell in love. There are so many beautiful and unique touches throughout the space, and the setting is irreplaceable. The idea of an all outdoor wedding was a little daunting at first, but all the accommodations and back-up plans put our minds at ease. The owners were fantastic to work with and very accommodating. I had random questions throughout the process at all hours of the day, and Angela would usually respond to my emails within a few hours. She was intentional and although does numerous weddings every week, still managed to make us feel like we were a priority. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing the Hidden Meadow and Barn as our wedding venue. Pepin and this gorgeous place will always have a special place in our hearts.

Having our wedding day at Hidden Meadow and Barn was a DREAM. So many of our guests told us that this venue was a "fairytale" and the most gorgeous venue they've been to. We had an outstanding experience with Angela Kissell and Hidden Meadow ever since the day we booked. Angela is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. She answered all of my wedding planning questions so quickly, making the planning process easy and stress-free. The venue includes so many things which means less for the bride to worry about! One of my favorite things about Hidden Meadow is that all of my bridesmaids and I were able to stay at the GORGEOUS Farmhouse on the venue site- so we got to wake up on my wedding day at the venue. Our groomsmen and family members were able to stay right around the corner at the Pepin Valley Cabins. There was truly nothing more convenient and fun than having our entire wedding party and family stay at our venue! It felt like a mini-destination wedding in the most beautiful Wisconsin location! Thanks to Hidden Meadow, and Angela, we had the most magical, fun, stress-free wedding day ever!

This venue is beautiful! Our guests could not quit raving about it. Angela was so helpful with vendor recommendations and was always available to answer our ton of questions. Their staff during the day was equally helpful and kind.

The Hidden Meadow and Barn was the most beautiful venue and made our dream wedding a reality. Everything is very well kept and their event workers made sure we were taken care of all day. I had forgotten a very special charm bracelet on my bouquet and they went into the dumpster a couple days later to find it and ship it to me! By far the best customer service I have come across and the most beautiful well kept space! Our guests could not stop talking about the beauty of the venue! Everything was perfect making it the best day ever!

We got married on 7/11/21 and this was the PERFECT VENUE! I wanted something away from the city, and when we saw the ceremony and reception space we knew this was the one. Angela was a dream to work with. She was so helpful every step of the way. She answered all my questions and helped give me advice when I needed it. She has a spectacular venue with beautiful details. The venue is so gorgeous! The staff was helpful and so kind the day of the wedding. Our guests had a great time. Best decision to get married here!! Forever grateful to Angela and the Hidden Meadow and Barn!

This venue was an absolute DREAM. It perfectly fit our romance meets rustic vibe and I feel so happy with our decision to choose this special spot. I loved the ceremony site so much, but I also adored the the Plan B ceremony spot (in case of rain), which would be beneath the pavilion with all those gorgeous chandeliers. Our wedding party also raved that it was so much fun to be able to walk to the farmhouse after the wedding reception, have a bonfire, and keep the fun times going. Having the Pepin Valley Cabins nearby was also so convenient and fun. In addition, Angela with Hidden Meadow is fabulous. She is SO organized (which I love), she's kind, and very helpful. I would choose this place a million times over.

I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the amazing staff!! We had to change our wedding date due to Covid, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating with us. The entire planning process was so smooth, even with the roller coaster of Covid changes, all thanks to Angela!! Our wedding was in September, this review is long overdue, but I truly cannot write enough good things about this place! The venue is stunning, the get ready rooms are also beautiful and have everything you could need, and the staff are attentive and excited to be celebrating you. The drink selection was amazing, the yard game options are great. Everything went so well, it was more than we ever dreamed of! It even rained out reception day, and I barely remember that because of how beautiful and smoothly ran everything was! Thank you Angela and the entire staff at Hidden Meadows!!

If you want a wedding that is straight out of a bridal magazine, The Hidden Meadow and Barn is a must. It is a wedding venue that no one will forget! I can't begin to count the number of guests who have asked me, "How in the world did you find this place?!" It was the only venue my husband and I toured and looking back, was it hands down the best decision we made in planning our wedding. Everything about it is dreamy with special touches everywhere you look -- the quaint but elegant groom and bridal cottages, the intimate ceremony area surrounded by stained glass windows and tall blooming grasses, the reception space dripping in chandeliers and lights...the list goes on. It is adaptable to your vision but picturesque in its natural state. I also cannot speak highly enough of Angela and her staff! From day one, everything was communicated and executed to perfection, especially through the ups and downs of wedding planning during a pandemic. I will forever be grateful.

I could not be more in love with Hidden Meadow & Barn!!! The whole property is beautiful with small touches throughout that contribute to the overall charm— from the details on the fireplace to the fun quotes and sayings in the bathroom to the unique chandelier in the open sided barn. My absolute favorite though was the ceremony meadow. You cannot beat the willow trees behind the altar and the pampas that enclose the area while still being so open to the surrounding beauty— the amazing barn doors are just the cherry on top. I could not speak highly enough of Angela the venue owner and coordinator. She was helpful at every turn and always returned emails promptly. We had considered hiring a day of coordinator, but found it to be unnecessary with the support from their day of staff. Additional bonus was the easels and tables available for use for our welcome sign, seating chart, guest book, gift table, etc. Being from Oregon and Florida, many of our guests had never been to WI before and were blown away by how breathtaking the venue and surrounding area were. one thousand stars!!! could not recommend highly enough!!! We also had Angela take pictures for our wedding and I love every single one of them. They turned out spectacular— I am so glad she was available to capture our day.

The number of beautiful photo back drops is endless and the field for golden hour was the most fun! Our guests tell us all the time that our wedding was the best wedding they have been to! They can't believe how gorgeous our venue was! I can't speak highly enough of Hidden Meadow! We had the most UNFORGETTABLE day and we would recommend 1000% to everyone we know!

We couldn’t have picked a better wedding venue. It was perfect, we lucked out with beautiful weather and the views are to die for. The fact that they have staff at the venue on your wedding day to help with anything takes a huge relief off, they are so helpful and make sure everything is taken care of. They have so many other accommodations at the venue as well, the farmhouse is great for rehearsal and for the girls to stay at the night before and the cottages are so fun to get ready in. Angela was awesome with staying in contact with us and answering any questions we had and making sure everything was good to go and taken care of as well.

We loved everything about this venue! The scenery, the set up, the staff, and the owners. Everyone did an amazing job at helping us make our big day one to remember. My husband and I got married here in August and we can not say enough about this venue! Angela and Adam are friendly, professional and excellent to work with, especially with an unexpected Pandemic! You can tell they have put their heart and soul into this place, because they have truly thought of everything! The venue speaks for itself and we fell in love with it the moment we saw it; Rustic yet classy!We loved that we were able to have our ceremony and reception all in one place to limit travel for our guests as well as make the most of our day. There are cabin rentals neighboring the venue, which our guests highly appreciated, as well as shuttle services to near by hotels. To top it all off, we were able to spend the night at the beautiful farmhouse on site which made for an absolute perfect way to end our wedding night - A campfire under the stars overlooking the venue remenicing about the day. Overall our experience at Hidden Meadow and Barn was top notch and couldn't have wished for anything more. We still continue to receive compliments from family and friends about how thought through the venue is and how great their experience was on our wedding day. Highly Recommend!

It’s only 1.5 hours from the twin cities and absolutely worth it. The drive to the venue is beautiful, and the venue itself is breathtaking. The ceremony site is surrounded with pampas grass and 12 ft stained glass windows located in a meadow with rolling hills. The reception, ceremony, bridal cottage, grooms suite… everything is on-site with no hidden fees! Angela, the venue owner, is very nice and good at communicating.

This venue was absolutely incredible! Exactly what we were looking for when planning our wedding. Gorgeous outdoor ceremony site with beautiful landscaping and covered reception area which served as a backup for bad weather. They were able to make our wedding safe and comfortable even in the midst of a pandemic. Everyone we worked with there was so helpful and professional, loved every second of that day! Angela does an amazing job.

Angela and the staff at The Hidden Meadow and Barn were fantastic! The venue is amazingly beautiful, in all of it's aspects, and everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful! Seriously, I was so impressed with how unflappable everyone was, even 12 inches of rain right before our outdoor ceremony wasn't a problem! Everyone was happy and dry for the ceremony (even though there wasn't a dry eye in the house!) Honestly, I couldn't recommend this venue enough!

Wow is all I can say about this venue. It was amazing from start to finish. It is set in beautiful Pepin, WI in (you guessed it)... a meadow! It is absolutely gorgeous at all times of the year. The venue manager, Angela, was a HUGE help to me when I was planning my wedding. She answered all of my questions and calmed my many anxieties. She was also my photographer, and she is sooo talented. We are extremely pleased with her expertise. Also, all of the staff at Hidden Meadow worked very hard to ensure that we had a wonderful day and that everything ran smoothly. I can't imagine a better place to say I do to my one true love!

From the very moment we toured the Hidden Meadow and Barn, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. It was the easiest and the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. We knew we really wanted an outdoor venue, but every other venue we toured always seemed to be right off of a major highway or next to a busy road. It took away from the intimacy a wedding should have.. But not HMB! It’s only 90 minutes from the Twin Cities, but it feels like you could be a million miles away. It is so magical and my god, that sunset over the hills!!! So beautiful! I can’t even tell you how many compliments we received from our guests about the sheer beauty of the property. I also have to take a minute to give kiddos to the staff. Angela, the owner, is absolutely incredible to work with. She is timely on her responses and is so sweet. She had so many great ideas on how to make certain things I wanted work throughout the day. Then on the day of the wedding, the on-site staff was fantastic. They were so friendly not only to us, but to all our guests. They made the day run so smoothly and I’m so grateful. The bartenders were absolute champions. My mom asked for a Bud Light Lime, however they had run out (NOT A BIG DEAL AT ALL).. then about 15 minutes later, the bartender found her in a crowd of 200 people to give her a Bud Light Lime she found hiding in the cooler. That’s just one example of them going above and beyond their call of duty. So, long story short.. if you are looking for an outdoor venue with an intimate setting, gorgeous views, and engaging staff.. just do yourself a favor and book with the Hidden Meadow & Barn! I promise you, you will not regret it.

Honestly, do not know where to start. From the organization, to the streamlined day of coordination, and the sheer beauty of this place - you really cannot go wrong. The on-site, air conditioned suites are complete genius and very roomy. Everything about this venue is gorgeous and it takes only a few small touches to make it go from beautiful to gorgeous. The staff work with the vendors once on site and go unnoticed all day. It literally is the perfect backdrop for any and all and provides a chic, casual feel that I was really looking for. And now that the farmhouse is available for rent, it is a full service venue where the amenities just don't stop. My day was an absolute dream.

We stumbled across Hidden Meadow when we were searching online for a venue and immediately knew it was our DREAM venue. After meeting the owner, Angela, and seeing the venue in person, we were sold. The ceremony space in particular is such a selling point, but the entire property is so well thought out. It's obviously the owners have put in tons of energy, love, and time creating this amazing space. We ended up doing a Friday wedding in order to make the venue more affordable for us and we found that doing a Friday wedding allowed for a bit more leverage when negotiating with other vendors who might not normally be booked for a Friday. Communication with Angela throughout the process was always timely, friendly, and easy. Day of coordinating staff were very helpful and kept things running smoothly. We went pretty minimal on decorations and let the landscaping and backdrop of the venue speak for itself and we received so many compliments from guests. We can't imagine having gone anywhere else to get married. It truly was the best day ever and that is in large part thanks to Angela and the team at Hidden Meadows! We're forever grateful!

Hidden Meadow and Barn was a beautiful location for our dream fall wedding. The scenery was amazing and the venue was perfectly set. We were given the freedom to personalize many aspects of our day and the staff was very easy to work with. Angela was very quick to respond to all of our questions along the way, which was quite helpful in our planning. Pepin was a perfect city for hosting our family and friends and has many VRBO's and AirBNB's in town along with the hotel to accommodate your guests.

As soon as my husband Patrick and I set foot at the Hidden Meadow and Barn we knew this place was magic and we canceled our other appointments elsewhere! Its so whimsical and beautiful and the perfect backdrop for our colorful wedding of bagpipers, fairies, and circus friends! This venue is truly a dream and very affordable. The family that runs this business is so sweet and kind and you can tell they are very passionate about creating an atmosphere for their guests. All of the food/ liquor vendors they suggested to us were just so patient and fabulous and there were many options for all budgets. It was by far the best day of our lives and I can't sing enough praises about this venue and this family! I work in the entertainment and event planning industry and see/ work with a lot of venues, and this one is by far my favorite wedding venue especially for couples who are on a budget, but still want to throw their dream wedding! So much love to Hidden Meadow and Barn!

The Hidden Meadow and Barn is so incredibly beautiful. We loved it from the start, and our guests are still talking about how lovely it was. We were looking for an outdoor wedding venue where we wouldn't have to scramble if our wedding day included a bit of rain. The outdoor ceremony space is magical and, while we were lucky and ended up with a sunny afternoon, the covered reception space took away some worry as our big day approached. The venue was a perfect place to bring together our family and friends - everyone loved the yard games and the big dance floor - and the fun setting meant that we could relax and enjoy ourselves as well. Angela was responsive and helpful as we worked out details. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

This site is absolutely STUNNING. Our wedding was absolutely perfect here! The staff was fabulous and so welcoming and open to helping/answering questions. Angela was fantastic and so welcoming and accommodating. Her photography is also beautiful and would highly recommend booking her for wedding photography as well. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

This venue will simply take your breath away. Angela and Adam were amazing to work with and their staff was so accommodating. Everything was perfect! Five Stars!!

I would absolutely recommend this venue! It had a beautiful rustic, vintage feel to it and was not only plenty spacious but made for beautiful pictures. It also accommodated both rain or shine, which was an important feature for us in an outdoor wedding venue. Not to mention Angela was fantastic to work with:)

I have so many amazing things to say about this venue!!! Angela is great to work with and the venue is absolutely stunning!!! On our wedding day we had zero issues and we had SO many people ask us how we found such an amazing venue!!!! The Hidden Meadow and Barn made our wedding the most amazing day that reflected me and my husband perfectly!!!

My husband & I were married at the hidden meadow last weekend and we still can’t get over how amazing the whole day was! Anyone who walks into this venue can tell how much love and time went into making every detail just right. Multiple people told me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Angela’s communication was on point thoughout the whole process and she was able to get in contact with some really terrific vendors.
