The Hideaway offers a breathtaking and unforgettable setting for your luxury wedding or corporate event. From romantic lakeside ceremonies to reception dinners under the stars, we provide a range of stunning locations on our 50-acre estate that are perfect for creating lifelong memories. Nestled in the rolling hills of Sumner County, our secluded farm is a private haven, surrounded by lush woods, offering both beauty and tranquility. Located down a mile-long country road, The Hideaway feels like a world away. Despite its peaceful, secluded atmosphere, we are just 20 minutes from Hendersonville, Lebanon, and Mount Juliet, 40 minutes from Downtown Nashville and Nashville International Airport (BNA), and only one hour from Franklin, Murfreesboro, and Clarksville. This prime location offers convenience for guests, yet retains the charm of a quiet, rural retreat.
Our weekend wedding package is designed to provide exceptional value and flexibility. When you choose The Hideaway, you will have access to the grounds from Friday late morning through Sunday early afternoon, giving you ample time to fully enjoy all that we have to offer. The estate is yours to explore, whether you’re unwinding by the pool and sauna, hosting a rehearsal dinner, or preparing for the grand celebration of your wedding day. The package also includes accommodations for up to 16 guests in the luxurious 5,000 square foot home, with an additional 3,000 square feet of outdoor space for relaxation and enjoyment. This extended access allows you to soak in the serene beauty of the property and fully immerse yourself in the experience.
At The Hideaway, we believe in providing a seamless and stress-free experience for you and your guests. To ensure every detail is perfect, all weddings and events must work with a licensed and insured event coordinator. For your convenience, we are thrilled to offer our in-house event coordinator, who is dedicated to helping you bring your vision to life. Our coordinator is experienced in every aspect of event planning and is available to assist with everything from scheduling to design and providing suggestions for local vendors, including catering, rentals, musicians, and more, ensuring that your day is flawless.

I worked with Liz, the owner, to setup the perfect romantic proposal out on the dock of their lake. She showed me around the whole property ahead of time so I knew how to coordinate with our photographer. Day of - Liz was so gracious with her time ensuring we had everything we needed. The proposal was so special, secluded, romantic, and beautiful! Afterward, we got to celebrate with our close family and friends, who had been hiding up at the house.
Everyone in our party LOVED the house, the attention to detail, the land, and fun amenities offered. We’re already talking about booking The Hideaway for a family weekend with both sides of our new family. If you’re thinking about booking The Hideaway, do it! is place is something special. The property is absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained, and the amenities are beyond anything we expected. Throughout the weekend, the most common comment from our guests was: “This place is magical—I can’t believe how perfect it is.”
What really sets The Hideaway apart is the value. Compared to many Nashville venues that offer a limited window of access, we had the entire property for a full wedding weekend. That completely transformed the experience for us and our guests and allowed everyone to relax and actually enjoy the time together. (As an aside, we paid about half of what other venues were going to charge us for 12 hours... and we got The Hideaway from Thursday through Sunday.)
On top of that, The Hideaway includes so many thoughtful extras at no additional cost: parking attendants, a luxury restroom trailer, basic wedding décor, a rolling tap vehicle, and even access to the property for our engagement photos. It’s rare to find a venue that is this generous and genuinely invested in your experience.
Chris and Liz embody true Southern hospitality in the best and most authentic way. Chris was incredibly responsive all weekend — whether it was helping with a minor maintenance issue or just making sure everything was running smoothly, he was always there when we needed him. You can tell they truly care about the couples who get married here.
For anyone hesitant about the location being about 45 minutes outside of downtown Nashville—don’t be. It’s more than worth it. In fact, being removed from the city adds to the charm and allows you and your guests to fully settle in and enjoy the experience together. It feels like a private, peaceful escape while still being close enough to Nashville.
If you’re looking for a venue that offers beauty, flexibility, value, and genuinely kind owners, The Hideaway leaves all other venues in the dust. We would choose it again in a heartbeat.
