Where do I even start?? To sum it up - we had the PERFECT engagement and dessert reception afterward! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night, complete with Fireflies, and ...
would/do recommend The Hideaway to everyone.
I worked with Liz, the owner, to setup the perfect romantic proposal out on the dock of their lake. She showed me around the whole property ahead of time so I knew how to coordinate with our photographer. Day of - Liz was so gracious with her time ensuring we had everything we needed. The proposal was so special, secluded, romantic, and beautiful! Afterward, we got to celebrate with our close family and friends, who had been hiding up at the house.
Everyone in our party LOVED the house, the attention to detail, the land, and fun amenities offered. We’re already talking about booking The Hideaway for a family weekend with both sides of our new family. If you’re thinking about booking The Hideaway, do it! You’ll make core memories AND a have picturesque backdrop you won’t regret.
I genuinely cannot say enough good things about The Hideaway. We got married here in April 2026, and from the moment we first toured the location in September 2025, it was clear th...
is place is something special. The property is absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained, and the amenities are beyond anything we expected. Throughout the weekend, the most common comment from our guests was: “This place is magical—I can’t believe how perfect it is.”
What really sets The Hideaway apart is the value. Compared to many Nashville venues that offer a limited window of access, we had the entire property for a full wedding weekend. That completely transformed the experience for us and our guests and allowed everyone to relax and actually enjoy the time together. (As an aside, we paid about half of what other venues were going to charge us for 12 hours... and we got The Hideaway from Thursday through Sunday.)
On top of that, The Hideaway includes so many thoughtful extras at no additional cost: parking attendants, a luxury restroom trailer, basic wedding décor, a rolling tap vehicle, and even access to the property for our engagement photos. It’s rare to find a venue that is this generous and genuinely invested in your experience.
Chris and Liz embody true Southern hospitality in the best and most authentic way. Chris was incredibly responsive all weekend — whether it was helping with a minor maintenance issue or just making sure everything was running smoothly, he was always there when we needed him. You can tell they truly care about the couples who get married here.
For anyone hesitant about the location being about 45 minutes outside of downtown Nashville—don’t be. It’s more than worth it. In fact, being removed from the city adds to the charm and allows you and your guests to fully settle in and enjoy the experience together. It feels like a private, peaceful escape while still being close enough to Nashville.
If you’re looking for a venue that offers beauty, flexibility, value, and genuinely kind owners, The Hideaway leaves all other venues in the dust. We would choose it again in a heartbeat.
Our wedding at The Hideaway was truly unforgettable! We spent the entire weekend there with our family, and it was filled with meaningful moments we’ll cherish forever. The propert...
y is breathtaking—perfectly designed for a wedding celebration. Our ceremony overlooked the lake with the most beautiful backdrop, the reception dinner took place right next to the water, and the upper deck made an amazing space for dancing and cocktail hour.
Liz and Chris were outstanding hosts. From the beginning, they were warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Their kindness and hospitality played a huge role in making the weekend feel so special and stress-free.
The Hideaway has become a place that means so much to us—we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for our wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the scenery and how stunning everything looked. It all felt like a dream, and we’re beyond thankful to Liz and Chris for helping create the best weekend of our lives.
