If you love bluegrass--hire the High 48s! I will never forget walking my walk down the aisle with this beautiful music playing! Later, our reception at Silverwood Park was an absol...
ute blast. People loved the change of pace from a DJ--and they danced for hours. The High 48s are very professional and easy to work with. For some reason, couples I've talked with have always had trouble finding a reliable DJ or band for their wedding--this will NOT be the case if you work with the High 48s. They show up on time, have all their own equipment, respond to emails--they're just the best. They also work a lot of weddings, so they have a lot of good instincts about what to play, etc. They are the nicest five guys you will ever work with, and they were one of the highlights of our wedding. Thank you to the High 48s!
The High 48's were the highlight of our wedding. After putting my husband on the task of choosing the band I was skeptical when he chose Bluegrass. I was thoroghly proven wrong. Th...
e High 48's are a 5 piece band out of Minneapolis, MN, traveled 2 hours to play in our wedding. They are highly acclaimed in the Bluegrass world of the Northwoods, yet down to earth. They grabbed the attention of all of our guests and we danced all through the night. 4 hours of playing time with a 20 minute break. And they played an acoustic song with group sing along to my husband and I as our last dance of the evening. Completely perfect!
These guys were excellent! They're a bluegrass band. Willing to work with you on choosing or learning first dance songs, etc, although we weren't picky. Highly recommended.
