The Highlands

Ceremonies and receptions can be held here both indoors or out in the various gorgeous blank slate spaces. For owner Jean Canaday, the Highlands is somewhere people's dreams can come to life. She loves helping people and takes a hands-on approach to celebrations held here. Jean built this property and business from scratch and works hard to answer any questions couples might have. This setting can be as customized as you need, as Jean's main priority is helping you realize your vision. With a venue coordinator on hand, a full decor closet, open vendor policy and limitless set up options, you are sure to find everything you need here! The Highlands has enough event space for weddings with up to 500 guests, along with private suites where the couple can get ready. Ceremonies can be held by any of the four ponds, or beside the winding creek. Indoor and outdoor bar space is available for celebrations, along with any tables and chairs you need. Hanging lights and white or black table cloths along with a full decor closet are supplied to help start your decorating. At sunset, you can join your guests on the covered patio and make a toast as the sun goes down over the wide, rural surrounds. A warming kitchen is available onsite for your catering team to make full use of. The Highlands Staff are here to take care of your event start to finish maintaining restrooms, trash, setting up and tearing down-they make sure your night goes perfectly! You can book this venue for a single day or for an entire weekend, depending on the size of the celebration you want.
