eAnne and Stacey were extremely responsive through all the planning months.

ch wasn't a problem for us but it did get a little hectic. The ceremony space doesn't have as many flowers or greenery as it once did (probably due to hurricanes and dry weather) but it was still a nice area. The upstairs Grand Ballroom where we had our reception was beautiful! They even provided centerpieces that matched our colors and theme at a MUCH lower cost than it would have been to go to a florist ourselves. The food we had for our reception was delicious and got many compliments from guests. However, the wedding coordinators were very slow in returning emails and requests for a phone call back were often ignored. It took 3 even 4 business days for them to respond to emails which was very frustrating when trying to coordinate final details. A few contract obligations were also broken the day of our wedding without us being told until the absolute last minute which was incredibly stressful. For example, my mother was told an hour before our ceremony at 5:30pm that another ceremony scheduled for 6:30pm did not match our colors and we were told to have everything down by 6pm. That included getting all the family and wedding party pictures done as well. When my mother asked why we weren't told sooner the coordinators only response was "Oh, Chad (the other coordinator) didn't tell you that? I thought he did." Also we paid for 124 guests which required 13 tables and we asked for the buffet to be set up in the room next to the reception. This was all in the contract. They only set up twelve tables and put our buffet in the same room the reception was held so there was no room to add a 13th table. Of course we were told this just before the reception started and we had to separate a family (very dear friends of ours) so they could all have seats. Their daughters ended up leaving at the begging of the reception because they felt uncomfortable having to sit with people they didn't know so I never got to see them which was really sad. Overall, it's a nice venue but for me the staff caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

in the Patterson Room. LeAnne was our contact, and she was amazing. Her assistance to me over the months of planning made it seamless. In addition, the rehearsal dinner was also at the Hilltop. The service was incredible, the food delicious, the grounds stunning and the perfect choice for this special event.

ception. However there were several things that really upset me about this place. The women's restroom has 2 stalls in it and one toilet wasn't working and we told them about it the day before but the day of the wedding Stacy told my mom that there wasn't anything they could do and that they already knew about the toilet leaking and it's just an old building!!!! I was so mad I could have screamed. Our guest lists was about 135 people so for us to just have 1 toilet working was not good. Several of my guests complained about that and I felt so bad. There was also other things that they promised us but then never happened!! Example, putting new plants out and cleaning up the gradens a little and the guys were suppose to get dressed in the upstairs room but then the day of they weren't aloud to so my groom had no where to put the rest of his tux on. The worker was still outside wiping off the chairs for the ceremony when my guests were arriving so that didn't look good and lots of them were cracked and broke. The one good thing was that the wait staff during the reception was very attentive but for the amount of money that we paid to rent this venue it should have been better!

the menus for us free of charge We had live flowers for centerpieces and a private room. It was a lovely setting. My wedding party and family enjoyed the venue very much and so did I.

lso found two of our other vendors through a list they supplied. The Ballroom was gorgeous and perfect for our wedding party of 55. We were going to be married in the nature garden but it rained, and our backup plan was executed flawlessly- we actually liked it even better than our original plan (no hot summer sun beating down on the guests). The food at the reception was incredibly good. We went to dine at the Hilltop twice before the wedding and the food was consistently good. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Our wedding was just as magical as we hoped thanks to all the hardworking staff at the Hilltop!

ur server/coordinator was Miranda and she was amazing. She looked after me down to the smallest detail. If you are on a budget but want elegant this is the place to go. The venue looks like an older mansion and the Azaleas were in bloom and spectacular. Everyone loved the food as well. We had banquet style and a month later people are still telling us how fantastic the food was.

everything that you want/need for your wedding and then some. Throughout the whole planning process I could email them a question and get a response within 24 hours usually. They followed up with me twice two weeks before just to make sure everything was perfect. They also worked with my budget. The night before the wedding they allowed us to come set everything up early and Chad made sure that I was relaxed and not stressed. The food was amazing! We had many of our guests tell us that the food was some of the best they had ever had. We looked at a lot of venues and I am so happy that we decided to use the hilltop. I would recommend them again and again! My husband's cousin and my maid of honor is actually using them for their wedding!
