Simon Kenton Inn is a bed and breakfast with a full service restaurant. We have full service lodging, catering, food and beverages for groups of 15 to 400. The Inn offers fine dining with a casual feel. The publik house blends the look of the past with modern construction for an intimate evening, or a fun get-together with friends and family. We also have an outdoor patio perfect for dinner or lunch with a memorable view of the surrounding countryside. The Pub offers multiple beers on tap, fine wines, complete liquor selection, and bottled imports. The Simon Kenton is the perfect venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, reunions, business meetings , baby showers and holiday parties.

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding here in January and it still feels like a dream. The owner Theresa and manager Christa, were so accommodating throughout the entire process....
The food was delicious and I received several compliments from my guests. Who knew it would be 60F and raining in the middle of January, but they had arranged for a shuttle driver to bring my guests up from parking lot to the reception hall. Christa herself walked with me holding an umbrella over my dress when I was outside. My florist and DJ loved the venue. They have a beautiful bar inside, pretty string lights and chandeliers hanging from the rafters. The wait staff were smiling and attentive. My 4 bridesmaids and I stayed overnight in the caretaker's cottage and had plenty of room for makeup and hair stylists. I had several guests stay in other rooms on the property and we all had breakfast there on Sunday. I wouldn't change a thing. I am eternally grateful to you ladies.

The food was great - like actually great - Theresa puts a ton of focus on buying only the best ingredients, and it makes all the difference.
The venue is perfect. It is an incredible combination of having an outdoor feel with the climate control that you need in case the weather goes south...or north...or whatever way the weather will choose to go in Ohio. Our guests were able to be inside on the dance floor, or outside hanging out on the beautiful property.
The thing that I will remember most, however, is how genuinely kind Theresa, Christa, and her entire staff are. They are super stoked about helping you host a great reception. They are professional, excited, and they get things done.
Allison and I could not be happier with Simon Kenton - this place seriously rules.

Simon Kenton Inn provides a venue, catering (which is DELICIOUS, by the way), bar services, and a place to stay all at once, and combining all these services really made a huge difference in the planning process. Their staff worked like a well-oiled machine to make our wedding day perfect and stress-free for us. I am so grateful and would absolutely recommend Simon Kenton Inn to anyone looking for a wedding venue, event banquets, or even just a place to stay.

The policies of the Inn dove-tailed perfectly with ours (times to start, end, refreshments and bar). The wedding was small (53) and held on their North Deck-perfect size! The food (selected after a tasting) was excellent and generous. The groom's family and a few guests stayed overnight, scattered among the various accommodations. The bride and her maids dressed in the William Hunt room--which became the Honeymoon Suite that eve. The Inn offers quaint historical B&B rooms, modern rooms and Tree House venues. There were lots of beautiful spots for wedding photos including a koi pond and bridge. The waitstaff assigned to our reception were experienced and became "part of the family!" The wedding was held outside on the front lawn , in front of their pergola; the reception on the covered and beautifully decorated North Deck. We loved every minute of it! Our guests enjoyed the venue as well as their rooms. Thanks to all who made this a truly memorable experience!

However, we booked for the scenery which is absolutely beautiful. Our pictures are turning out amazing. Also, the inclusive package was reasonable for what we got. Food, drinks, staff, linens, set up, clean up, and all day access. The food was incredible. Our wedding was beautiful and turned out exactly how we wanted. We ended up having a blast and really enjoying ourselves. It was just very stressful and frustrating at times during the process. A few times staff was very abrasive and told me (the bride) how the day was going to go. I think our day was so perfect because we hired amazing vendors and had some awesome family members that got everything together.
This is an excellent venue for a ceremony and reception. The main thing that attracted us to choose this place to get married is how so much was included in one place. They do cate...
ring, bar, tables, chairs, linens, setup, tear down, clean-up, and rental cost for ceremony and reception is all included in one price. They also have nice accommodations that allowed the bridal party to stay at the site the night before and get up and have breakfast together.
Even though our event coordinator changed prior to our wedding date (a couple months before), they made sure our details were carried through with a new coordinator and communicated with us to make sure everything was the way we wanted.
The grounds on site are very well kept with landscaping looking beautiful. They had flowers in bloom, plenty of greenery, and a lot of little nooks that were perfect for photos. All that, plus the country (rustic) backdrop made this place very desirable. Oh, and the sunsets here are picturesque!
Our suggestions would be to book rooms at the inn very early whenever you decide to come here because they fill up quickly.
Our wedding was in late June on a sunny day and even though it was warm outside, they provided fans and water for the ceremony and under the pavilion was noticeably cooler for the ceremony. Everyone said they were comfortable.
Overall, would not have changed a thing. It was a beautiful wedding at a beautiful place.

We choose this location in case of rain/plenty of room to have wedding inside too!! Also in case of a hot day, our guest could walk 10 secs to the building in order to cool off!!
I cannot say enough on how gorgeous this property is for an outdoor wedding.
Also there was no cost for the venue because it was included in the catering service. Only one catering service has exclusive rights to the property, but this will change January 2012! I wish we could have used a different caterer!
Also the name of the property will change in January 2012 too!
Again the property is Amazing for a summer wedding :)
