We recently got married at the Red Cross building with the Historic Trust. They were professional and helpful. We loved our venue, especially the cherry blossoms in the court yard. It was a perfect venue for a small wedding (50 people).
The Providence academy was such a perfect wedding venue ! Not only that ,but the staff were always available to answer questions and were super helpful the day of which made the whole day more enjoyable! Highly recommend !
Highly recommend using one of the Historic Trust's venues for your wedding! We had ours at Providence Academy and had an incredible day. The venue is gorgeous, the staff are extremely communicative, friendly, and helpful, and the rental fee was super reasonable for everything that was included. We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue and are so happy with how everything went.
Our Christmas wedding at the Marshall House was absolutely beautiful! Every step of the process working with the Historic Trust was so smooth and easy, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We had a small wedding of 50 people, all indoors, and it was more than enough space! Plus, they decorate for Christmas, so we didn't have to do much work to make it festive and beautiful. Bottom line: you cannot beat this price, and we had a magical experience!
Held a wedding for 80 people at the Red Cross Building. The staff was amazing. They answered all my questions, provided excellent suggestions, and set up the room exactly as I wanted. The building is beautiful and well maintained.
Our Wedding Day was just what we had hoped for. Mary Richards at the Red Cross Building was always available in answering questions and helping with the planning and layout in the facility for our big day. The venue is not only historical but it has an inviting feel the moment you enter. We visited the site a few times to take measurements, meet with vendors and talk with Mary.
The day of the Event our contact person McKenzie was helpful in last minute details.
This Venue is priced right for budget conscious planners. The photo opportunities were endless with beautiful gardens . The Bonus is the outside patio. We couldn't of been happier.
Thanks to all for an exceptional Wedding Day!
We had our wedding here and it was perfect! Tables and chairs were set up when we got there! Mary was amazing to work with! Super easy to communicate with and helpful. We rented the Red Cross building. It has a kitchen and a room for the bridal party to get ready in!
The Red Cross Building was the perfect size venue for our wedding and reception of about 50 people. The rental cost was reasonable and the friendly staff were always there to answer our questions or address our concerns. Our event coordinator, Mary, was excellent and helped us through all the steps including booking, tour, floor plans and the wedding day. We highly recommend The Historic Trust to help plan your event!
We could not have asked for a better location for our wedding. The Red Cross Building at the Historic Trust was the perfect size for our 60 guests. The event staff was responsive and prompt with communication. The audio equipment worked perfectly. We were gifted with the perfect weather so we could us the outdoor patio, which is lovely. The venue was the perfect romantic backdrop for our wedding. The parking situation was also very easily accessible and free. We couldn't be happier with our experience. It was a perfect day!
My husband and I got married in the Artillery Barracks at The Historic Trust and it was such a wonderful experience! Mary helped us plan from day one all the way up until our wedding day. They offer way more than what is listed on the website, don't be afraid to ask lots of questions while booking this place! We got a huge room for the gals to get ready in with natural light, lots of mirrors, and a little kitchenette. Since we decided to do our own catering, there was a full-sized restaurant grade fridge and kitchen area where we got to store all of our drinks and food the morning of which was super helpful. Plus an ice machine! We had full range of the banquet room to set up any and all tables/chairs we wanted, and there was plenty of room for everyone! The only thing I wish we did differently was take them up on the 1 hour rehearsal. Thinking back, idk why I thought we didn't need it!
We had a wedding on 2.22.2022 at the Marshall house it was truly amazing and beautiful! We planned and booked our wedding with just one month's time!
The Marshall House in Vancouver was an ideal location for my recent wedding. We chose Christmas time because of the way the mansion would be decorated. It was warm and intimate, requiring very little work on my part to decorate.
Working with the staff was very easy. They were experienced and knowledgeable, making it a breeze to do the planning. I was able to use my own caterer, which allowed me to keep the costs very reasonable. The cost of the venue itself was also very reasonable compared to most other area venues.
The only negative feedback I have is that I chose to have a seated dinner, which meant that I had to split my guests into two rooms for the reception. The rooms are connected by the foyer, so people weren't totally isolated from one another, but we did have one guest upset that they weren't in the main room (which can seat 50 guests). This wouldn't have been an issue with fewer guests (I had 70), or if we'd not done a seated dinner.
Other than that one issue, my event went off beautifully, and I have nothing but great things to say about the venue and its staff.
