The Hive Cake Studio

I used the Hive Cake Studio for my wedding on 7/17/2021 and Melissa was SO awesome to work with! She was very informative and professional and was able to answer any question I had. We did a tasting with her and loved the cupcakes we tried (red velvet with cream cheese and chocolate cupcake with strawberry frosting and filling). We knew we wanted these cupcakes for sure and asked her opinion for a 3rd option and she let us know that they did cassata during the summer months and my husband and I LOVE cassata so we went with that! We had about 100 guests and ordered 5 dozen of each flavor cupcake and not a single cassata cupcake was brought home because our guests loved them that much! For our cake we did a simple two tier cake and choosing the design was so simple since she has a book of a lot of their past creations they have made. I definitely recommend the Hive Cake Studio to anyone needing any baking needs done!

Best cake and desserts I’ve ever tasted!!! Melissa the owner of the Hive was so easy to work with and everyone loved our cake. Couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend. She traveled an hour to delivery our cake to our venue.

We HIGHLY recommend working with The Hive Cake Studio for your wedding dessert needs. Melissa was fantastic to work with, and brought my wedding cake ideas to life. She was extremely flexible and understanding to work with (we cut our guest list from 250 to 50 people) and had no issues accommodating our requests. After our tasting, we couldn't pick just one flavor, so Melissa recommended us doing a different flavor per tier and it was a huge hit. Our guests were raving about how this was the best cake they'd tasted! The cake was beautiful and delicious, and I will 100% order again from the bakery.

Even though cakes are meant to be simple and sweet, my husband and I had a lot of demands when it came to a wedding cake. We wanted a unique cake and The Hive cake studio exceeded our expectations. The cake was beautiful and tasted even better. In addition, a few weeks before the wedding my husband found out he is allergic to gluten and Melissa went above and beyond to create gluten free delicious cake. I don’t think many people say the cake was the best part of their wedding but once you taste The Hive Cake Studio’s cake, you’ll agree.
