The Hive on Hubbard was the first place I viewed as a potential venue for our wedding and within 5 minutes of my tour knew it was absolutely where I wanted our wedding to be! Bethany was SUPER great to work with right from the beginning. Quick and clear communication. Provided a great tour. Was able to answer all my questions in detail and answered any lingering questions I had via email. The space was perfect for our 135 person wedding. Beautiful exposed brick within. Gorgeous sky light that created the perfect lighting for a 5pm wedding in October. Everything you need is within the space. The venue provided the tables and chairs (and gave tons of options for chairs), plus the linens for the tables and matching cloth napkins. Renting the venue includes access to their Photo Booth which our guests loved. The kitchenette was perfect for our cocktail hour snacks and desserts. There are bathrooms right within the space. The bridal party has roof access for pictures, which provides a stellar view of the skyline. TONS of street parking, and the venue offers ten parking spaces plus one handicap space. Security at the door during the wedding, plus they place a video on a screen when guests enter.
My favorite part was the bridal suite!!! It has everything the girls and I needed to get ready, including a full bathroom with a shower and a mini kitchenette for our lunch delivery and drinks. They also have a stunning space with a mirror for getting ready. Bethany not only allowed our dog, Avocado Bob to walk down the aisle, but he was able to stay the entire wedding with an escort. We cannot say more wonderful things about The Hive on Hubbard. I could write a whole novel on the benefits of having your wedding here. Thank you Bethany and team for providing us the perfect space for our special day. We love and appreciate you.
The venue was beautiful and Bethany was great to work with! Very transparent and accommodating.
Gorgeous venue that worked perfectly for our theme! Owners/managers were very helpful and responsive to our needs and request. Highly recommend!
The Hive on Hubbard was the perfect place to host our wedding reception! It was exactly what we were looking for - a gorgeous exposed-brick space on the third floor of a refurbished factory with great views of the city. We also had (very limited) access to the roof for wedding party photos, but we ended up not using it due to weather.
Bethany was absolutely amazing, the perfect combination of chill professionalism that we needed. Knowing that she had our backs made us confident that our day would be taken care of. She let us set up a lot of decor the day before (because there was no event using the space) and throughout our engagement was very dedicated with keeping in touch and making sure everything was finalized for us as the date approached. All communications were clear, thorough, and prompt. Regarding price, the cost for the space was comparable to other similar venues in the area, and included linens (your choice of color, of which there were SO MANY), various tables, a photobooth, limited rooftop access as mentioned above, and a bridal suite in the back. There is a small parking lot that you can assign 10 spots to VIPs like parents, grandparents, or other vendors like photographers, however there is also plentiful street parking since there are no residential buildings in the neighborhood. The Hive also worked with us to set COVID rules for guests as they checked in at the front door (we chose to check for proof of vaccination or negative test).
We really appreciate being able to use this space for our wedding and it really set the tone for the vibe of the day! We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm urban warehouse feel for their wedding.
Paul & Bethany were an absolute nightmare to work with. After we reserved a wedding at their space through Peerspace, they called us to tell us that they had double-booked the space and had to back out of the deal. When we tried to call them back to reserve the space for a different date, we could not get through to them (I later realized they blocked my phone number as calls from my cellphone went straight to voicemail while calls from my work phone connected). Although they refunded us the money we paid to book the space, they refused to pay us the money we lost when we had to rearrange things with our other booked vendors, even after we filed an official dispute with Peerspace. I would avoid this venue at all costs. HORRIBLE experience.
