I would highly recommend The Holt House for any special occasion you have. I worked mostly with Aly and Pam and they were both so friendly, detail-oriented, and professional. They thought of every detail beforehand so I didn't have to answer any questions the day of. Every employee present on the day of my wedding was incredible, they worked so hard to make the day perfect. Every guest complimented the house and decor. They made sure that the day went smoothly. I will definitely be working with them again for future special events.
Jera at the Holt House was wonderful to work with and did everything in her power to make this the wedding of our dreams! This is by far the best venue in the area and offers a great small town background for your special day.

The Holt House is a venue welcoming weddings in Lexington, NC. An uptown gem, the property offers the best of the city’s past and present in one package. Ideal for a sophisticated celebration, guests will be impressed by its historic grandeur, which has been renovated with care and flair.
The Holt House sits proudly on Lexington’s Main Street, granting guests easy access to the best that the city can offer. Built in the early 1800s, the property is a pristine example of the era’s architectural elegance. Its white-washed wooden facade features many hallmarks of the Greek-revival style of architecture popular at the time. Neo-classical elements such as ionic columns and large Palladian windows welcome guests, establishing a stately atmosphere before they even enter the house. The manor is surrounded by over an acre of lush gardens that offer peaceful seclusion from the city outside. Ideal for an outdoor celebration, couples can say “I do” in a tasteful ceremony under the fresh air. Retreating inside, the Grand Parlor is an intimate setting for a black-tie reception. Guests can raise a glass of champagne to the happy couple under its extravagant crystal chandelier. The interior is defined by original fixtures throughout, from the wall paneling to the polished hardwood floors. Painted in a refined color palette, its decor allows the house’s natural beauty to shine.
The owners of The Holt House are proud to welcome parties to the venue. They are there to help couples throughout the planning process and can be on-site during the event to ensure everything runs smoothly. A spacious offering, the property can welcome up to 150 guests for outdoor weddings and 50 guests indoors. There are multiple rooms available throughout the house for the wedding party to use. The couples can enjoy separate get-ready spaces, located in the house’s many suites. The outdoor spaces have four separate areas as ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations, including the front yard, side yard, back patio, and pavilion.
