The Holy City Cupcakes

Truly amazing desserts! We hired The Holy City Cupcakes to provide cupcakes for our wedding reception. We were not disappointed! We chose 4 flavors for mini cupcakes: Maple bacon, English toffee, Almond amaretto, and chocolate peanut butter. Everyone loved them! They also designed our wedding cake as a giant cupcake, complete with a wrapper- like edging and rosette flowers. The flavor was Charleston Chew! The owners were very easy to work with and were easily in touch via text, phone, or email. They were also able to find a way to keep our cake and cupcakes from melting, as our ceremony and reception were outside! Everything was absolutely delicious!

Rachel at Holy City Cupcakes was an amazing asset to our wedding! Our guests loved the mini cupcake bar, and she was very sweet with my request to have confetti cake for our round cake!!! Every single flavor we tried at the tasting was amazing and she even offered a 4" topper with our package deal but due to limited freezer space, we may just have to have a new one made for our anniversary. Our guests are still giving us compliments a week later about her cupcakes and our cake. No leftovers can only mean that guests loved it!!! Thank you, Rachel! Booking The Holy City Cupcakes for my wedding on October 21, 2017 was one of the best decisions I made. Rachel was not only humble, organized, and responsive, but she has a GIFT for creating beautiful, delicious cupcakes. My (now husband) and I tasted five other vendors before trying her cupcakes. We immediately knew she would be the one after the first bite. Almost all the guests raved about the cupcakes and some even went to her shop the next day to get more! One guest even commented, "This woman needs to take the place of some of the shops on King Street!" If you are looking for a reliable, affordable, and down right outstanding cupcake look no further. Holy City Cupcakes provided an amazing cupcake bar for our guests and a stunning wedding cake. They not only went above and beyond our expectations but made it a great addition to the wedding. Guests were able to choose their cupcake flavor, icing and a topping and they were even able to make a separate cupcake for a guest with a diary allergy. They clearly communicated with us and were always quick to respond with any questions that we had. We were extremely impressed and would definitely use them again!

Holy City Cupcakes catered our wedding and we could not have chosen better. We opted for a small cake to cut and share together, with a cupcake bar for our guests. They were very attentive to dietary needs and everyone at the wedding loved the cupcakes. We were also able to get our cake custom made (both diet needs and appearance) and have a catered cupcake bar for less than the majority of bakery quotes we received. From personal experience I highly recommend getting more than 2 mini cupcakes per person, as the bar was mobbed after everyone had their first one!

We were extremely impressed with Rachel! She went above and beyond for us. She went out the day before the wedding and got organic blackberries from the farmers market to put on the cupcakes, she special ordered white flowers to put on top of some, AND she was able to help us incorporate lemon zest on our vanilla ones to keep the icing thick while still giving it that lemony flavor. Her display was gorgeous and better than I could have imagined. She is passionate about her work and she takes pride in what she serves. My guests raved all night about how delicious all the cupcakes were and we got to take some home and still a week later they are delicious! Rachel was so easy to work with, she fulfilled our every want, and she was very kind and professional. We loved working with Rachel and we are so excited to be able to go back to Holy City Cupcakes and enjoy her creations whenever we want.
