The Honey Badgers

The Honey Badgers were a highlight of our Wedding. We had an intimate wedding at a restaurant in Brooklyn, with around 100 people. We didn't want solely instrumental but didn't want to purchase a whole band. A music duo was the ideal choice, but we were looking for something more personal and sweet for our guests. When I found The Honey Badgers, they were exactly what I was looking for. They had several videos online of cover songs, and we loved the way they tackled pop or rock songs from a soft folk angle. They seemed musically fearless and up for a challenge. The Honey Badgers were easy to work with, and extremely responsive leading up to the event. We had a few check ins to get a feel for the wedding vibes, and they took time to check our Spotify to understand our music taste. We choose songs off their robust list of instrumental and lyrical songs, including a grateful dead song for my father, and a Taylor Swift song (not a T-Swift fan, but their rendition of Lover was so perfect and sweet). The cherry on top of the whole process was their excitement to learn new songs. We wanted to hear some of our favorite songs throughout the night, and they took the time to practice and learn some instrumental versions. We even played around with our first dance song to make the verses instrumental, while the bridge was vocal, and overall made the song more elevated for a first dance. Their sound was crisp, and cut through all the background noise, instead of adding to the bustle of cocktail hour and dinner. Before the wedding they sent a comprehensive set list that mapped out what they would play at the cocktail hour (more instrumental) and intro the dinner set (more lyrical). We received so many complements on our sweet musical duo. Would highly recommend working with The Honey Badgers for your wedding.

We love the Honey Badgers and highly recommend them to everyone! We were looking for a folk-duo to perform during our Friday night welcome dinner and found Erin & Michael online. They were great all around - fun and talented performers, super friendly and easy to work with, and not crazy expensive. They even learned a couple of our favorite songs and surprised us on the day-of. A definite highlight of our weekend. Thank you!

Erin and Michael were absolutely amazing! We hired them for our ceremony and cocktail hour of our wedding, our guests loved them. They were so easy to work with, profession, kind and accommodating. They offer a wide variety of music and songs for everyones enjoyment. Everything went so smoothly . I would recommend them to anyone looking for live music for their wedding.

I am obsessed with Erin and Michael! They are extremely talented and two incredible/sweet people! They sang all the songs we wanted to and sang their own songs! Please listen to them on spotify!! Their music is so good!! They made our ceremony and cocktail extremely special! All our guests kept talking how talented they were! Hire them for your wedding i promise you, you will love them!!

Michael and Erin were FABULOUS to work with. Very responsive and so incredibly friendly. I wish I could have arrived to my own wedding ceremony sooner to have heard more of their live music. They are so talented and create such beautiful music together. The perfect touch to help make our wedding day so lovely. My husband and I highly recommend them for any event!!!

To whoever is scouring the reviews… it would be a huge mistake not to book Erin & Michael, trust us! They had an introductory call with us, had provided an amazing form along with a selection of incredible songs, and then continued with follow ups until our wedding day. The communication was excellent, Erin & Michael were extra flexible, and they helped guide our guests from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Everyone at our wedding kept complimenting them on their performances, they were amazing! We are so happy to have found you both! Thank you so much for an extraordinary night.

We cannot recommend The Honey Badgers enough!! The loveliest couple, with the loveliest sound. They truly created the wedding atmosphere we had dreamed of. We first heard them play at the wedding of Nick & Tori the year before, and knew we wanted to experience them again at our own event. We were lucky enough to have them play at our reception and during our cocktail hour. We received endless amounts of compliments for them from our guests and even the staff! Truly wonderful people to work with and you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I loved working with The Honey Badgers! Their sound was absolutely beautiful, they had an amazing list of songs to choose from, and they were very responsive to our requests to learn two new songs. We received so many compliments from our guests on how wonderful they sounded. Our only regret was not hiring them to play the entire wedding. Anyone would be fortunate to have The Honey Badgers perform at their wedding!!

We could not have asked for a more perfect addition to our small COVID wedding! The Honey Badgers provided music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were so flexible with scheduling, had a long list of song choices, and were able to take special requests for songs that we wanted to add. Our guests could not stop talking about the music! The violin, guitar, and singing provided the perfect ambiance. Every song was played beautifully and made for a unique experience that felt intimate and personal. We are already trying to think of the next event that they can play for us! We cannot recommend them more highly!!!
