Incredible wedding venue, great staff and affordable. Would 100% recommend
When my husband and I first got engaged and began looking into venues, The Honeysuckle Tea House was one of the first that we toured. Instantly, we knew it was special. The grounds...
are absolutely stunning, and everyone that we worked with from that initial tour on was just so kind, professional, and accommodating.
And the food!! Their catering team was top-notch. Our guests raved about everything that was served.
We cannot recommend this venue enough. Truly, we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else, and we can't wait for an opportunity to come back to the Tea House for a special event.
We had our wedding at The Tea House in September 2025 and it was absolutely perfect. We loved having the catering and drinks handled by the Tea House. It made things so much easier...
for us and the food and drinks were all delicious. We used their in-house rental items for tablecloths and glassware which was not only easier but also cheaper than other rental options. If you're looking for a gorgeous all inclusive outdoor wedding venue with responsive staff, then this is perfect place!
Literally the best venue ever!!!! They made everything so fun and easy for us!!! Our wedding day was spectacular! We got married September 7th! And man… it was literally perfect! J...
ust what we wanted. Laidback but still beautiful! Cozy with garden like elegance. They made everything a piece of cake for us! They quickly responded to every question we had everytime and were so sweet and a blast to work with! Definitely recommend them for your wedding venue!!!
Honeysuckle Tea House is a magical place. We were proud to be married at a location we have so much respect for, in terms of their goals of sustainability, farming, design, and exc...
ellent drinks! Being so close to Chapel Hill, you will have a hard time finding a better deal for your hard earned dollars too! To give an idea of what you can receive through booking with them, they offer: round tables, good quality chairs, a brand new outdoor pavillion, excellent bar service and drink options, a (lightly) air conditioned space for guests, garden spaces, a hammock cluster, giant wooden playground for kids, good parking, excellent photo backgrounds & atmosphere, fire pits, options for beautiful catering and floral and table decor, and I'm sure much more - go check them out, for sure.
The venue is beautiful, the price(s) are really good for what you get, and the staff is friendly.
We had our wedding here and could not have asked for a better venue and staff! Working with Svetlana and her team was so easy. The venue has tables, chairs, decorations, and flower...
s available, so we really didn't have to book too much else. They were extremely responsive to messages and so helpful on the day on the wedding. Management is dedicated to making improvements to the property that exceeded our expectations in the year since we booked. Playground was a huge hit with the kids! Highly recommend!
My partner and I had lovely experience working with Svetlana and we feel lucky to have been married in such a sweet little spot hidden in the woods. This venue was everything we wa...
nted and then some. Take time to go see it and talk with Svetlana, you won’t regret it. The catering was delicious and well received by all. We had the BBQ & Mac n Cheese, yum. The staff were kind and warm, we really enjoyed being around them on our special day. If you’re looking for woodsy fairytale homey love nest vibes this is it! The one and only thing we would have done differently is to have hired a DJ. We ended up having to use the tent (which was put up on short notice due to the forecast. The tent is huge, that is a LOT of work and they got it done in a short amount of time) and the tent muffled their sound system out. Not their fault at all really, just circumstance. We feel so blessed to have had our wedding at the Honeysuckle Teahouse and to have worked with Svetlana every step of the way. P.S: BOOK THE COTTAGE! It is worth the money.
Planning a wedding is a lot, it was even worse living in post-pandemic world with staffing shortages, reduced hours of operations, food shortages, and the list can just go on forev...
er.... Our first venue we chose, we parted ways. We were forced to start all over again with only a few months before our wedding date- the date we chose with our first venue. And I am so unbelievably grateful we left our first venue, because it led us to the Honeysuckle Tea house.
Having always been a fan of this spot since it's inception, I took a chance that they might be doing events, which praise be, they had just started offering this service. I met with Svetlana and her team and instantly, I knew this was the right fit for us. Our experience with the Honeysuckle team was night and day different from what we had previously. They worked tirelessly to respond accordingly (even with their staffing shortages!) and work to resolve any and all issues I was having. I finally felt heard. They understood my stresses and frustrations with trying to navigate the world we all now live in, but they worked with me, on everything. They were very open and honest about the things they could offer me, at what price, and the things they could not. I had an AMAZING TEAM of people that cared as much as I did (and in some instances more lol), that worked endlessly to make our day as perfect as they could.
I cannot speak highly enough about Svetlana and her team. I have made lasting relationships with these people, and they gave me the best gift I could have ever received. A place, for one day, where my husband, myself, and the people we are the closest to in this life could celebrate, be ourselves, and feel at home. The tea house is a gem amongst ordinary stones. If you want a blank canvas to create your day, and are willing to work with a team to achieve this goal, then the Tea House is for you.
We have zero regrets. Not a single one. Who can say that about their wedding day location.?
