The Hotel at Auburn University

The Hotel at Auburn University did an amazing job with my wedding reception (and helping with the ceremony as well!). I was able to rent chairs/set up from them to get married at the Garden of Memory on campus, then host the reception at the hotel. The food was out of this world good! The servers were extremely well trained, polite, and friendly! The customer service provided by the sales manager, Marlena Gillis, went above and beyond anything I could have asked or expected. In fact, the whole team at the hotel-from the check in desk, to the catering department, to the set up/tear down crew--were professional, friendly, and went out of their way to help me pull this event off! The initial reason I picked this location was because it was the only place I found in Auburn that did not charge a separate fee for using the book and additional for catering. Instead, there was a minimum food/drink total, which we reached comfortably with 80-100 guests. The fact that everything was so wonderful from there on was just icing on the cake (which they did a very nice job displaying!). I never felt that "no" was in the vocabulary of any employee at this location. There were two (small) things they could not accommodate--and they gave very good reasons: one was a fire hazard, the other is that the plants are not theirs and can't be moved! Otherwise, whatever I needed, whatever I or my guests asked for, was accomplished with great attention to detail. I cannot rave enough about The Hotel at Auburn University. I fully intend on using them again for future events, and I tell everyone I know in Auburn about them!
