The House of Makeup

up and her team for my mom, MOH and bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing! I also used Chrissy for my bridal shower as a trial and although I chose a different color look for my wedding day, I have never felt more beautiful both times! Highly recommend!

did an outstanding don’t job! I never felt more beautiful and confident. My mother and bridesmaids were very happy with their hair and makeup as well! I would definitely use them again for another occasion!

h ups we had on the day. The whole team is extremely professional and kind. I booked with Crissy for my hair and makeup and she did a phenomenal job! I had a handful of changes/tweaks I wanted to make from my trial going into the wedding day and she totally delivered! My hair and makeup help up so well throughout the day. I highly recommend scheduling a trial! Not only do you get to go to their super cute boutique, but it's a great way to get to know your stylist, try out the style you're interested in and see how it holds up over the course of a day.

y tackled my large bridal party efficiently and professionally, with many of the bridesmaids telling me it was the best wedding hair and make up they have ever had. I also wanted to shout out Gina, my bridal make up and hair artist. She’s the best!

or the photographers. They were an absolute pleasure to spend our morning with and we couldn’t be more thankful. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

pointed. I booked their services almost immediately following my trial with head bridal artist Alyssa. She was fantastic and I was obsessed with her style and the look she gave me. She absolutely nailed it and I had no doubt making the quick decision to book. By December 2022 I was notified that Alyssa was no longer available on my wedding date, despite their initial intro email specifically stating “Our next steps are to book you in for a Bridal Trial with the Master Bridal Artist who will be booked with you on your wedding day. Don’t worry, they are pre-secured so you can be assured they will be with you on that magical morning.” Well, things come up and I totally understand that. However, when I asked if I could come in for a new trial with the new artist they paired me with …. I was told they could give me $25.00 off the trial cost ($150.00). I couldn’t believe I’d have to pay an additional $125.00 for a change that they made to my booking — bad customer service in my opinion. So, I made the poor decision to not spend the extra money and get a new trial…. On the day of my wedding I showed the new artist, Jeanice, pictures from my trial with Alyssa and was assured she could match that look. Not so much…. My eyebrows were exactly what I didn’t want (having thin sparse brows turned into thick stamp like brows was not the natural look I was going for or showed in pics from my trial). Jeanice did adjust them but it still wasn’t the light natural look I was going for. I also felt very cakey versus the light clean feeling I had after my trial with Alyssa. Side note: my estimate and booked service contract clearly states all services include airbrush and standard strip lashes. Only 3 out of 8 women receiving makeup services that day were airbrushed, and not by their choice. Only one of two artists who arrived that day were able to airbrush. Ultimately my husband and I had a great day since I told myself things won’t always go according to plan and whatever happens happens - I won’t let it ruin the day, but the last thing I thought was that I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with my own bridal look - and thinking back I think the very least The House of Makeup could have done was offer a new trial right out the gate with no charge —— something to consider for future brides put in the position that’s out of their control. Final note: the timeline provided had us start at 7:00am and finish by 11:30am. If one of my girls hadn’t arrived slightly later than planned, the artists would have been done and gone by 10:30-10:45 even though my photographer wasn’t arriving until Noon. I think we could have started the day a half hour to an hour later, or they could have stayed until 11:30am for touch ups just prior to the photographer arriving as we were eating/drinking coffee throughout the morning.

e all looking for a natural look, the team was so accommodating! Communication through email and phone was so easy, setting up the trial & letting them know of any changes was so simple. The day of the wedding they showed up on time and made sure to do touch ups before they left. Crissy personally worked on me & my mother and she did an amazing job! Made me look how I always wanted to on the day of my wedding & that's all a bride could ever ask for. Would 100% recommend.

uch fun to hangout with on my wedding morning and brought such good vibes. Every single person loved their hair and it lasted all day. If you are considering booking, DO IT! You will not regret it.

s great and did a fabulous job doing the hair and makeup for my bridal party, mom, mother in law, and aunt. My friend had used Crissy a few years before me and I knew right when we booked our wedding that's exactly who I wanted to help me look my best on my wedding day. I did my trial with Crissy for my engagement pictures, and had my hair and makeup done for my bridal shower with Alicia. I will always use The House of Makeup now for any of my makeup/hair needs for events!

has been so helpful with all of the details! Gina was the talented bridal stylist and she made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and all of my bridal party loved the helpful and talented services of the hair and makeup stylists! We all felt so beautiful all night! I will definitely reach out to House of Makeup again for a future event!

eel gorgeous!

ievably talented! They made pictures come to life! The team made everyone feel so comfortable and my ladies were obsessed with their looks. Not only do I think that they are the best but my bridesmaids, mother, mother in law were blown away! Everyone was so happy and said they would only recommend House of makeup! No one is better than this company!

table was a top priority so planning ahead and doing a few trials to nail down what I wanted worked well. I felt beautiful on my wedding day. I initially wanted a very natural look but decided to go full glam during my last trial - and it was a complete game changer. I felt so confident in my artists abilities that I didn’t even do a trial for the hairstyle I chose the day of my wedding. Everything was PERFECT. Hair extensions, like they say, are a must and make all the difference. My hair and make up stayed perfectly for 12+ hours, in the middle of August. My 10 bridesmaids and mother also had their hair + make up done. People could not stop talking about how much they loved it. I know I’ll be booking them for any hair and make up services in the future.

hat used them for their weddings, and they looked absolutely stunning. I booked Crissy for myself (highly recommend all brides do the same) and she completely nailed the look I was going for. My mom, MIL, and 6 bridesmaids were so happy with how their hair and make up came out too, and a friend of mine booked them immediately after my wedding for hers that is coming up at the end of the month! Aside from how talented they all are, the studio could not be cuter, and I could not be more obsessed with their products. Buy "Gossamer" and book the House of Makeup!!! You will not regret either decision :)

mpletely blown away by their glam - and I had an extremely diverse group of girls (African American, Asian, Indian, and white), which makes this even more impressive!!! They nailed everyone’s look perfectly. Alyssa, Luciana and Jeanine were FLAWLESS and had fantastic attitudes throughout the morning, which helped make my wedding morning so fun and glamorous. They really were a dream team. If you are looking for the glam team of your dreams to make your wedding morning stress free and to make you, your mom and your friends look straight off a magazine cover, look no further and hire HoM!!!!!!

ville shop on June 14 and had a trial hair and makeup session with Gina, our Bridal Artist. The morning of the wedding Gina arrived with 3 Assistant Artists and after setting up they began working on the bridal party. While Gina was doing my daughter's hair she asked about the gratuity envelopes. House of Makeup provided me with a Gratuity Guide which has very specific instructions regarding the gratuities. They require a 20% gratuity per service and their gratuity directions specify: "1 envelope for the Bridal Artist and 1 envelope for the Assisting Artists, the Head, Bridal Artist on-site will distribute the Bridal Party service envelope evenly amongst the assisting staff". After giving Gina the 2 envelopes, I had to leave the Bridal Party Suite to attend to the flowers, a few minutes later my daughter called me and told me that Gina stopped working on her hair and that I needed to return to the Bridal Party Suite asap. I told my daughter to tell Gina to continue to work on her hair and I would return shortly. My husband and I went to the Bridal Party Suite and asked Gina what the problem was, she said the $600 tip was insufficient. I asked how that could be since I gave a 20 % tip. Our total bill was $3,000.00 (Gina did the bride and MOB total $750. 20% tip = $150.00, Assistants did MOG and 7 girls total $1,650. 20 % tip = $330.00, Assistant Alicia 6 additional hours for touch up total $600. 20% tip = $120.00) Total Tip $600.00. I asked Gina what the tip should be and she could not tell me. She just kept saying the tip is not sufficient. It was unprofessional of her to stop working on my daughter's hair. This totally stressed my daughter and me out. I explained to her how I calculated the tip and she said she has no idea what they charge for the services. I feel she was hustling me for a bigger tip. Her behavior was unprofessional and unwarranted and the anxiety she created was not appreciated. She never did apologize for her mistake. I would recommend using a more professional company, btw they are terrible at returning phone calls.

lumes for their talent and professionalism. Alyssa did my hair and makeup both years, and did an incredible job! From my trial on, she made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and her skills are incredible. I have a very round, youthful face, and am often mistaken for being much younger than I am, but I looked the most beautiful I’ve ever looked on my wedding days, and I felt that way, too! Originally, when I booked Alyssa and the House of Makeup, I was having a great deal of acne difficulties, and compared to the other makeup company I tried, the airbrush makeup that the House of Makeup used did a far better job covering any blemishes! The finish looked smooth and flawless. Alyssa color-swatched my hair for extensions, which were perfectly matched and held up beautifully both days. My makeup and hair were flawless both days. In 2020, I booked the touch up service, which definitely made me feel pampered. Alyssa helped with my veil and removing it going from the church to the reception, and touched up my makeup as well. It felt very glamorous. In 2021, I did not book the touch up service, and I didn’t need it! Everything held up very well, despite the heat of an August wedding. Alyssa was so personable and compassionate, even during wedding-day jitters, and she even found a way for my bridesmaid to “help” her to make her feel more comfortable. In 2020, my mom and MOH also had their hair done by house of makeup, and Alyssa brought an assistant with her, who was likewise talented, professional, and kind.

rning of my wedding ran incredibly smoothly and stress free completing STUNNING hair and makeup for 15 people!! All 12 of my bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law, and myself all LOVED our hair in makeup and even at the end of the night on a warm day in July our hair and make up still looked perfect! -Erin

because they have their own line of hair extensions, lashes and lip glosses. It was worth every single cent! Her team made my mom, my mother-in-law and my bridal party look absolutely stunning. I also paid for the four hour touch up service, which if you are getting married and going to be taking pictures outside I HIGHLY recommend. In-between every picture Jenna adjusted my hair, touched up my lip gloss and right before my ceremony I got a full touch up. I really don’t have enough praise to give them. They are amazing!

d with my $100 deposit that they already had they wouldn’t allow me to use it towards a standard regular makeup application IN STUDIO and advised I would have to pay for full bridal glam. Upsetting considering I had 4 sisters who would have gotten their makeup done as well. They lost my business and referrals and only gained my $100. Bad customer service esp during these covid times with brides! Need to be more understanding and you would have gained more business.

and natural mascara with light shadow, coverup on any spots and a lip color. She made me look and feel so beautiful - feeling the full bridal glam but still soft and natural and glowing. I did two trials, both individually good, but the big day was even better and exactly what I wanted. The rest of the team was also very professional and highly skilled - every bridesmaid and mom looked beautiful and no one was rushed. Highly recommend!

without feeling overdone - added bonus that my makeup stayed in perfectly throughout a hot August day. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Special shout out to Bobby who had amazing execution on makeup and could not have been more sincere and kind. He shared some great makeup and skincare tips all while completing a look I loved!

am not the most confident person, she made me feel so beautiful. My hair and makeup stayed the entire night through lots of tears and emotions. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication. My girls and mom cannot stop raving about all of their hair and makeup. Book them!! You will not be disappointed!!!

timing was perfect so everyone felt taken care of and no one was rushed. We all looked beautiful and felt confident! Xox Thank you so much!

o my hair and makeup, she did an incredible job. The team that did my bridal party, mom and mother in law did an amazing job. I had a Jr Bridesmaid that is 11 and they did the perfect amount of makeup for her. My mother in law has unfortunately had a battle of cancer over the last year and was only just starting to grow her hair back, the house of makeup team made her feel more the comfortable and confident while styling her hair. Aside from the makeup and hair, House of Makeup was easy to work with, schedule appointments with and communicate with. We unfortunately were COVID wedding postponers...we had four dates total including our original date. Christie and her team were more than willing to work with us and figure out new dates. I really appreciate how easy they made it scheduling, and rescheduling again and again. It made everything a little less stressful!

morning run smoothly while having so much fun!

e with ease. She really listens to her clients and cares deeply about making every brides vision come to life! I’m so happy that I chose the house of makeup!

e wedding the whole team showed up on time, and even finished all services early. Hair and makeup for all ladies lasted throughout the entire day. Gina did my bridal glam up, and I could not have been happier. She truly made me look like the bride I had always envisioned myself to be. The work she did was STUNNING. To this day I am still getting compliments on my hair and makeup. I wish my girls and I could get ready all over again; we had a blast with the team and could not be happier!

hair and makeup lasted all night into the following day, and still looked amazing. I had a huge bridal party, an aunt, and my mom and everyone looked so so beautiful. I really couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup team. I recommend them to everyone I know and can't wait until I have an excuse to hire them again.

oria, the brand manager, is super sweet and responsive and answered any questions I had in a timely manner! I had two trials with Crissy and I loved her! She is truly talented and so fun to be around. She did my makeup for the big day and it was BREATHTAKING. People cannot stop commenting on it. And it lasted all day, even through some rain and wind. She also styled my sisters (MOH) hair and it was so beautiful. She was so happy with it! I have already recommended them to many friends. Thank you to Crissy and the entire team for making me and all of my girls feel gorgeous on my special day!

edding. I felt so beautiful! Whether you have a small or very large bridal party, the house of makeup is the way to go! They did such a great job with 10 bridesmaids and 3 moms! They are very affordable as well. I had a wonderful time doing my bridal trial 10 months before (highly recommend.) The entire team was super nice, professional, and glammed us up like models!

rls and everything came out amazing for them also. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and they were all very happy how everything came out. They showed up on time (even before me) and were in and out of there of when I wanted everyone to be done. Anytime I had a question or concern, Jesse or Victoria answered it the next day. Crissy is a glam goddess and the sweetest person ever. One of my best decisions was booking them. They did a fantastic job. -Casey

with time to spare. My hair and makeup was absolutely flawless and lasted from 10am to 2am perfectly. 100% recommend house of makeup. I have never felt prettier!!!

planning, I couldn't have been happier with how everything came out. Crissy is so sweet, and she really brought my vision to life. The whole team was friendly, professional, and extremely talented! All of my bridesmaids and MOB looked stunning! Worth every penny!

portant things to me for my wedding. I knew I would not be happy if I didn't look perfect. Working with Crissy and her team from the start was a breeze, they were so accommodating, so thoughtful and they listened. My bridesmaids absolutely loved their hair and makeup, they all were so pleased with the services and the professionalism. I could not be happier how my hair and makeup came out. Crissy listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. She didn't leave until she knew I was completely happy with my look and took her time and made me feel so comfortable, and beautiful!! I have been in A LOT of weddings as a bridesmaid and have never once been completely happy with my hair or makeup. I can say with a lot of experience, The House of Makeup is the absolute best, so knowledgeable and so professional. I HIGHLY recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

i was going for. My bridesmaids all loved their hair as well! We all felt beautiful and received so many compliments. My worst fear was that my hair would fall out but it stayed the Entire night! It was so humid and hot but my hair did not move. I highly recommend House of makeup!

y, and really listened to how I wanted to look. She also gave me her professional opinion, and I must say, please trust her! She knows what will look best in pictures and how to achieve the look you are going for. Her assistants, specifically Bobby, was also amazing. I have been in many weddings where bridesmaids all were given the same exact make-up application. This was NOT the case for The House of Makeup. They listened to each bridesmaid and tailored a custom look for each girl. Although Crissy left when she was finished with my makeup, her whole team stayed and made sure all 11 girls, including myself, were satisfied and got any retouches if necessary. Lastly, and most importantly, everyone's makeup lasted the entire day and night. I did not need any touch-ups even after having my makeup done at 7 am. THANK YOU!

utiful. Before I chose the House Of Makeup I had a trial with another person and I had a horrible experience and was scarred and didn’t want to get another trial because I just thought makeup did not look good on me. After my trial with Crissy my mind was totally changed. I left her studio feeling beautiful and thought that she listened to exactly what I wanted and how I felt in the past and did all she could to make me feel as beautiful and as natural as possible. I was so happy to have a positive experience that day and that translated to the day of my wedding for myself and everyone else involved in the wedding who got hair and makeup done. The team was so professional and it was just so seamless and amazing! I cannot thank the House Of Makeup team enough!

e clear). My makeup was perfect, it was everything I loved from my trial with the minor changes I had asked for. While getting ready my sister had a tiny meltdown over her makeup (done by Gina, who also did a great job), and Crissy stepped in and diffused the situation before it could escalate; that alone, made me thankful I had booked her. My wedding day was rainy and I cried during my vows, but my makeup stayed put ALL night, and it photographed beautifully. I feel asleep without washing my face and when I woke up the next day, my makeup was still perfect. If you're on the fence, BOOK HOUSE OF MAKEUP, you won't regret it.

y girls, mothers of the bride and groom and me the prettiest wedding party, and for keeping us so calm and having fun the entire morning! Everything was so relaxed the whole morning from the early hours they arrived to the moment they left there was never any stress. Everyone loved their look, and felt so beautiful and confident! I was most nervous about my mother, who never gets her makeup done. She was blown away by her look and has received endless compliments still weeks later. Gina is simply the best! Not much else to say. I knew I had to have only her for my hair and makeup as her perfection shines through all of her work. By the end of the night, i did not have one hair out of place, even after dancing for 5 hours! My makeup was flawless, and she listened to my every concern and was able to make me feel the best on my big day! I loved chatting with her as if we were friends for years, throughout the morning to help ease my nerves-seriously makes all the difference! All in all a wonderful professional experience working with Chrissy, Victoria and everyone else in the months leading up to our wedding, and especially on that day itself. Everything was organized, professional and attentive to my every question and need. Would only recommend this team to future brides, and also for my future makeup needs! The best of the best!

she really helped my morning be that much more joyful. Great personalities and you can tell the pride they take in their work.
