When it comes to Jessy from The Howard Brand words cannot describe how incredible it was to work with her. From the first phone call, to the engagement shoot, to the mini Covid wedding, to the grand wedding we had been dreaming of… Jessy far surpassed our expectations! When I was thinking of how I wanted my wedding photos to look I told her I wanted timeless, romantic, elegant, and classic. I knew I wanted my photos bright with no moody tones. The images I have from both of my weddings that she photographed are some of my most treasured possessions. Jessy nailed my vision beyond anything I could have imagined. She is truly an artist and a master of her craft. If I could rave about her personality, her work, and how my parents were floored at how inconspicuous she was on our wedding day I truly would do it 100 times over. Jessy is such a remarkable photographer and I recommend (and will continue to recommend) Jessy until the end of time. I will treasure these photos for a lifetime and they are something that will remain timeless and elegant for my children and my grandchildren to see. I married the girl of my dreams a bit over two years ago. We hired a photographer who, on paper, was amazing and perfect. Events occurred in our photographer's life of which we were never made aware, and our experience and resulting photos were awful. Not all the photos, but our memories are bad enough that we don't enjoy looking at our wedding and engagement photos much. My wife wanted a 'redo', so we hired Jessy to do a photoshoot on our wedding anniversary. Firstly, I need everyone to understand that I'm not somebody that is concerned with having photos. I don't generally like the way I look in real life or in photographs (isn't that all of us?). My parents didn't take photos while I was growing up, so this isn't something that is ever on my mind. I'm much more of a writer and musician when it comes to art rather than folks like Jessy and my wife who connect more with visual art mediums such as photography, and painting. My memories have always lived in my head rather than in pictures, and I've always been fine with that. That being said...I love the gallery Jessy created. I'm overwhelmed with the number of photos where my wife and I simply look like ourselves. It doesn't look like we're staged or trying to smile or trying to look happy...we just ARE. I'm also amazed at how many genuine smiles my wife has in all the photos -- you can see her smile in her face and eyes, not just her mouth. Somehow, Jessy made us trust her immediately, feel comfortable around her immediately, and captured 100% candid happiness. She didn't need to make us look like we're happy or in love, she just made us comfortable with being ourselves. That's a rare gift. Outside of ourselves, I love the way that Jessy either made it look like we are somewhere other than Columbus, Ohio or made the location look like artwork (my wife used some terminology about perspective and whatnot to describe this). For example, many of the pictures taken at the Scioto Mile in Columbus, Ohio actually remind us of the Adriatic where we honeymooned or Central Park in NYC, and some of the 'out of focus' skylines look like they could be paintings rather than photos. I'm also very impressed at how the black and white prints she provided seem to add texture and contrast rather than just being the same pictures but in black and white or, worse, really dark. The gallery is so good that even a person that doesn't care or connect with photography is blown away by it, smiles, and feels happy every time he looks through it. My wife just glows and smiles every time she looks at the gallery or when we talk about what to frame, etc. Jessy erased all our bad wedding memories and provided so many new ones. One last note. It's very apparent that Jessy is simply good at what she does despite the event. Her ability to connect with her clients, choose locations, and her ability with editing will make any event amazing whether it's your wedding day or not. I don't think my wife and I will use another photographer for events in our future.

Jessica, of the Howard Brand did an amazing job from start to finish. She followed our journey from engagement to marriage and accommodated us through the pandemic. She was open to traveling as our OH wedding was cancelled and Las Vegas wedding became spontaneously planned. Throughout, the day of our wedding she kept things fun and captured photos I’m ecstatic to have forever. The wait for wedding photos can make one grow impatient however, it is well worth the wait to receive the art of Jessica’s editing and work behind the lens! Shawn and I were thankful and blessed to have such a fun wedding experience and a big part of that is because of the Howard brand, so thank you Jessica! 🖤💫

Jessy is #1 the best in the business. Our wedding photos are absolutely breathtaking!! We were able to work with her for our engagement and wedding photos and during both sessions, she kept us really calm and relaxed, and yet somehow got some of the best shots of us... just being us!! When I was looking for a wedding photographer I wasn’t looking for just pictures, but something that I would be thrilled to pass down for generations and of course plaster all over my walls for years to come. Jessy is hands down one of the most down to earth, creative, and innovative photographers we know! She’s so easy to work with, and so much fun. My husband and I are not the best in front of camera but she was able to direct us so easily and omg, the pictures that she has taken ended up so breathe taking. The Howard Brand is the best. Period. Jessy's eye and vision for her photography is like no one I've seen in Columbus. As someone who lives in NYC, she is literally one of the best photographers I have seen PERIOD! Our wedding photos (and "engagement" photos that we took on our honeymoon #COVIDBride) were iconic, classic, romantic, timeless...I could go on and on. I don't know where to begin with Jessy, she has been our saving grace and such a huge part of our life for the past year and a half. She was immediately onboard a week and a half after we had gotten engaged. She blew us away last July with light, elegant, and even sexy photos of our love in the mountains of Vermont. She returned this September and worked her ass off to be bring us the most beautiful photos during the craziest point of our lives. Jesse was so amazing to work with! We worked with her for our 5th anniversary photoshoot! And the photos are amazing! She literally brought my vision to life! She is beyond talented and if you are looking for a photographer to capture your special day, book her without any hesitation!

We used The Howard Brand for our engagement & wedding photos and I have never seen such amazing photos in my life. Jessy is extremely talented and made my husband and I feel comfortable and guided us through different poses. I normally don't post reviews but had for the Howard Brand because I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer. We will be using them for any photo shoots we do going forward. Also loved how quickly they returned our photos to us! My husband and I cried when we got our pictures back because they were that amazing. We used The Howard Brand for our engagement pictures in Washington DC and for the weekend of our wedding in Cleveland, Ohio. Jessy and her team did an amazing job and I am so in love with all of the moments that she was able to capture. We loved our experience with Jessy from the very start. Our first meeting was at a restaurant and over the process of planning the wedding. she really got to know us. This made it so much easier when taking pictures because we felt so comfortable in front of her and her team. We loved our experience with her and are planning on using her for all of our future events!

This review is long overdue and has taken me 2.5years to write. Neither Jessy nor her assistant captured any pictures of my dad walking me down the aisle. There is only one of us from the back in which you cannot see our faces. It has been incredibly heartbreaking for myself and for my dad that such an important part of our day was missed and now gone forever. When I inquired about it with Jessy, the response was a very nonchalant we didn't get it. There was no acknowledgment of the immense emotional weight of this missed moment, nor any sort of apology offered.

Using Jessy for our engagement and wedding photos was one of the best decisions we made! She did the most fantastic job on our wedding day and we could not be more thankful for her and her team. We got so many compliments from our guests about how professional, kind and fun her team was. Her 2nd and 3rd shooters were fabulous!! We met beforehand to talk about the timeline and what I wanted to focus on most. She did exactly what I asked for and made the day much less stressful by keeping us on time and having a set plan. We haven’t received our wedding photos yet but if they are even half as beautiful as our engagements photos, we will be so happy. Jessy ( and her team) did an amazing job capturing our personalities and love in both our engagement and wedding photos! They have a timeless quality and in all honesty, the experience never felt forced...the photos were candid and the smiles all real :). Our family photos and couple portraits were beautiful, and we cannot wait to put them in our first home! We had our wedding at the Franklin Park Conservatory and she incorporated the Palm House and grounds in all the photos, giving us a chance to relive our precious memories. I cannot recommend Jessy enough! She shot both our engagement and wedding photos and both were amazing. She's great at instructing you to get the best photos so you'll feel comfortable even if you've never been in front of a camera. These aren't your typical stiff wedding photos as she's a true artist. A true testament to her talent was that a friend booked Jessy to shoot her wedding shortly after seeing our photos- such a compliment!

A friend of mine recommended Jessy of The Howard Brand so I reached out and was greeted with a prompt response asking to speak over the phone. Jessy and I connected over the phone and as soon as I got off the phone I knew I had found our photographer. She was warm, welcoming and personal. She asked about who my husband and I were as people and the kind of things we like to do together. She asked about our vision for wedding photography and she explained how she thought her company would fit in with our vision. After our phone call she invited us to dinner to Cooper's Hawk at Easton, we connected further and she paid for dinner. She even gave us the cutest little welcome gift when we first arrived. We discussed our engagement session and our vision for our photos, she gave us styling recommendations for our engagement shoot as well as other vendors she's worked with and trusts for the wedding day. At our engagement session we had the best time together and she put us at ease. We LOVED our engagement photos and receive 3x the amount of images promised in our contract! About a month out she met with me again to do a wedding walk through at our wedding site to discuss timeline etc, I was really stressed out and she again put me at ease with how thorough and thoughtful she was about the wedding day process. Once the wedding day came around I was super excited to have a photographer I know I could trust. I believe we contracted her for 8 hrs but she came 2 hours early at no extra charge to us and she helped facilitate the timeline keeping us on track. When we received our photos back I couldn't stop crying, there were so many gorgeous moments and photos I didn't even know I wanted. I am in customer service and her attention to detail in every part of the process was unmatched. My husband and I LOVE Jessy of The Howard Brand and if you're looking for a stellar photographer with an incredible experience seriously look no further than The Howard Brand.

Jessy exceeded my expectations as far as actually getting to know us. She was very personable and fun to be around. She is great at what she does and a true professional. Now the team as a whole the day of was phenomenal. They were very relaxing and knew exactly what they were doing. We had a strict time frame and they stayed on it with ease. Our wedding photographer, Jessy Howard of The Howard Brand, was absolutely bomb. She captured our wedding day like no other human being on the planet. Her work is second to none and if I could have sold her my first born for our wedding photos, I would have. Jessy and I grew up together, she was in my wedding as one of my bridesmaids before she ever became a photographer. When she went to photography school I became one of her models and have seen her grow into her work over the last 10 years, so when she asked my husband and I to photograph our 7 year anniversary we jumped at the opportunity! I cannot day enough about Jessy. I met Jessy as a fellow vendor and trusted her to shoot my anniversary shoot with my boyfriend as a surprise gift to him. Jessy was incredibly helpful, creative, and full of excitement for our big day. She helped me map out a vision for our shoot and made me feel so calm about surprising him with this photoshoot. She patiently waited while we ate our anniversary dinner & was awaiting our arrival at a nearby park where we began shooting. Little did I know, 1 week after our shoot, Jessy invited me to her cozy home where cheese platters and wine awaited me. "Jessy did a great job at capturing our elopement. She suggested we take couple's portraits at the Statehouse prior to our ceremony which was genius since it was early March and freezing. She gave us good variety and more than we were anticipating. She was accommodating with our requests and we couldn't be more thrilled to have hired her as our photographer.
