We had the opportunity to work with Melissa and The Hudson House and Distillery for our special day, and it was the best decision we made during the entire process. Melissa is a li...fesaver and was able to make our special day become a reality in every way possible. Even though we don’t live in New York anymore, she was able to give us constant reassurance that everything was going to plan, and helped us with vendors, making sure they were the right fit for our vision. Regarding the venue, the Hudson House offers so much beauty, inside and out, which left our guests amazed to see it in person. Despite our wedding happening in November, the cold weather did not stop us from enjoying the beautiful view both the house and the river provided. One of our favorite parts of the entire process was finally making it to the big day, and my husband and I did not feel stressed about things not going to plan. Melissa runs a tight ship and did everything in her power to make sure that any issues were resolved by her and didn’t let us worry about anything. A memorable moment from the wedding was definitely just before I walked down the aisle. I had the chance to secretly record a message for my husband and our guests to hear. His reaction was priceless and made that moment so special. A big plus was allowing us to have our sweet pup Charlie a part of our day as well, accompanying our ring bearer down the aisle. The staff at the Hudson House did a remarkable job making sure our guests were helped at every moment, especially the bartenders! We are so grateful to have worked with the wonderful people at the Hudson House, and could not have asked for our special day to go any other way.
