We paid for an upgrade outside our package to get a shiny gold skyline and I'm so glad we sprang for it because it turned out stunning. Our tasting was so fun and the person we worked with was wonderful! Very friendly and explained everything clearly to us without pressuring us to pay for upgrades at all. I highly recommend Icing on the Cake for your wedding cake!!

he is pleasant, creative, and the quality of the cake was phenomenal. There were a ton of design options to choose from, and you can really make it your own. We did 3 flavors and 2 different textures. And the flavor was 1000/10. I’m not even really a cake person but Paula and her team do incredible work! She was also able to add little figurines of our dogs into the cake and it was just the perfect touch. We’re freezing the top part of our cake to save for our first wedding anniversary and I can’t wait to have it!

ree cake vision. Best cake we've ever had! Unfortunately, we only got a bite of our cake before the catering serving staff cleared it away and never wrapped it up. The serving staff also dropped and smashed our top tier that we were saving for our 1yr anniversary. Highly recommend icing on the cake amaretto and mocha chocolate with extra raspberry!

We felt like we were in good hands with Paula and she helped us come up with a design that was perfect for us (even included an outline of the Boston skyline on the top tier!) and matched the icing flowers on the cake to the colors of our florals. The cake was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite memories from the wedding reception. We found the bakery through our hotel and I'm so glad we did! I'd definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a gorgeous cake that also tastes amazing!

was very helpful in helping us figure out what we wanted, and her assistant gave us the amazing idea to use metal flowers for our industrial-style wedding. They were by far the easiest vendor we worked with, and I never needed to worry about the cake. If I ever need another event cake, they will definitely be were I go. Did I mention that they are affordable?

re that their cakes are too sweet, especially the frosting. The sugar overpower the flavors and you can’t even eat a whole slice or the cake is dry. That is NOT an issue with this bakery. It was moist and even the guests with the most sensitivity to sugar had 2 slices. The flavors were also AMAZING. Especially strawberry, orange, and raspberry. (Each tier had a different flavor filling which was the best advice from Paula and decision). In my culture the wedding cake is central to the reception, even more so than the food. The Icing on the Cake did not disappoint me or my guests. The quality of their cakes are so good, I took the wedding topper home and shared with co-workers, it is now 3 days after my wedding and the cake is still as good as it was on my wedding day. Still soft & moist even after being refrigerated. I will definitely be ordering from them for future occasions, & I strongly suggest you do too.

. Plexiglass was installed, gloves were worn when reviewing her photobooks, and she and her staff all wore masks. The cake design we had in mind was fairly intricate and she created such a beautiful cake! It was exactly how we imagined it would be and our photographer and guests were really wowed. Moreover, the cake was absolutely delicious! We're definitely looking forward to getting more cakes from Paula in the future - my husband already knows which flavor I want for my birthday!
