We were recently married at the Inn, and couldn't have asked for a more wonderful weekend! The Inn grounds and facilities are simply fabulous - stunning views, gorgeously rustic barns a-plenty that are beautifully presented, steeped in history, delectable brunches, and even home to their own animal sanctuary! Steve is their man-on-the-ground, and he had such a positive impact on our experience. Not only was he ready to chip in and fix or find whatever we needed, ensuring things were all set, but he is the most kind-hearted soul with a very reassuring nature - just what you need at a wedding! He became not just someone working at the venue, but part of our whole wedding experience and celebration. So incredible!
I can't say enough about how perfect the venue was. Coordination and planning was a breeze. Carolyn & Steve worked incredibly hard to make our day wonderful. Guests who stayed at the Inn raved about the bountiful amenities. Breakfast was scrumptious and rooms were clean. The ceremony site was well manicured and set up to our specifications. The reception barn was beautifully set up and wowed our guests. Inn staff worked closely with all of our vendors to ensure that we had a wonderful day. Bathrooms were convenient and clean. Signage directing guests to parking, restrooms, and smoking area was all very helpful. During the reception our guests loved visiting the sanctuary animals and taking pictures in their beautiful gardens.
My one suggestion would be an improved room booking process. The couple pre-assigns guests to rooms, but the front desk let any guest who called book a room even if they weren't on the pre-approved list, resulting in a lot of double-bookings. This happened several times.
Aside from this, everything was perfect. We were their first full-scale wedding since before the COVID pandemic, yet everything came together like they do it every day!
My daughter was married at the Inn this past July- it was an absolutely stunning location and despite the fact that we had visited it beforehand, we were just as enchanted by its beauty and charm as all of our guests were. The staff at the Inn were incredibly helpful throughout our wedding weekend and bent over backwards to make the event a success. Our entire family was able to stay at the Creamery and in the Farmhouse and my daughter and her new husband and my family will always treasure the time together. Since the wedding, my husband and I have received so many thank you notes from guests who are still raving about this wedding location. You have to see the lovely spot for the ceremony as well as the barn itself to appreciate its unique charm.
I got married at the Inn at Mountain View farm this past September. My husband and I picked the venue randomly - we loved its beauty and that fact that the Inn was yours for the entire weekend. While we loved the venue, we never knew that all of our guests would be just as excited and obsessed with it. People have STILL been telling us that our wedding was the BEST wedding they have ever been to.
This venue by itself is stunningly beautiful. Without decorations you would STILL have a gorgeous wedding. What we loved about this venue was that it allowed you to personalize your ceremony and reception. We were able to select our menu from a caterer, and we were able to fill the barn with all of our special touches. This venue is definitely for someone who wants to create a beautiful, yet intimate affair.
I also loved the fact that they provided you with tables and chairs. Most barn venues require you to rent your own, so that was a huge plus.
I can't say enough about the friendly staff at the Inn. ESPECIALLY - Erin - the manager and wedding coordinator. She was FANTASTIC. Anything we needed- she was there. She went ABOVE and beyond to make sure that my husband and I were happy - as well as our guests.
Our wedding felt incredibly fancy, yet also laid back and casual (if that's possible) The venue was kid friendly - we had about 15 kids at our wedding and it was great because they played games and ran around outside while the adults danced the night away. I would highly recommend this venue!!! We can't wait to go back just the two of us !!
The Inn at Mountain View Farm was the perfect venue for us. From the first day we went to visit, through the time we pulled out to go home we were surrounded by friendly and professional staff. With mountain bike trails winding through the property, vast outbuildings, beautiful rooms, gorgeous vistas, animals to pet, and the best service ever, our day was beyond spectacular. Despite the rainy weather we were still able to have our wedding on site in the 'ceremony' barn. Many guests stayed on site attending the rehersal party on the front patio and lounging by the fire into late night. It was a weekend of love and laughter. Thank you to the Inn for their over the top attention to detail. And the location was perfect for a 'trashing the dress' in the Kingdom Trails mud!!!!!
If you are looking for the perfect Vermont wedding venue, you will find it at The Inn at Mountain View Farm in East Burke, Vermont. The grounds of the Inn will take your breath away and the barns are spectacular. There is so much versatility for your ceremony location on the grounds. The Upper Meadow with sweeping mountain views, the perennial garden for a more intimate setting, or the barn chapel for a more rustic appeal. The Farmhouse and Creamery were the perfect accommodations for our guests. It was truly a warm and inviting country-chic atmosphere. All of our guests (in town and out of town) could not stop raving about the Inn and its grounds. It was breathtaking. Caitlyn was the best coordinator ever and was highly organized, prompt and efficient. While I grew up in Vermont, I was planning our wedding from Connecticut and Caitlyn made that very smooth and stress free. By far this is THE BEST Vermont venue if you are looking for a warm country Vermont destination wedding. There are a lot of Vermont barn venues but this is by far #1. Thank you for making our day magical and a wedding to remember! ~ Leslie and Chris Sexton ~ Married September 1, 2012 ~
