The Inn at Serenbe

Pros: Serenbe is a beautiful community and place to get married. I will say that we thoroughly enjoyed our small and intimate ceremony and reception. Our townhouse where we stayed was beautiful! Cons: Very poor and unprofessional customer service. Expect to be stressed! I would email their staff and would not get a response for over a week. Invoices were incorrect and I had to double check everything. I would ask for things and I guess they don't write any notes. There was a point that I waited so long for a response to an email that I called the manager and front desk support. Even they were unresponsive and I just had to wait. This was not for a quote, I was a client who had already paid a large deposit for my event. To top it off at the end, we were over-charged for our bar at the reception. The bar was open for 3 hours and again, this was a small and intimate ceremony. Fewer than half of our guests were drinkers due to religion, health status or they were underage. We were charged for 7 drinks per person and I know for a fact that many of our drinkers had less than 3 drinks! Despite our complaints, we were left to pay for an exorbitant bar tab. I would not recommend Serenbe at all unless you are willing to deal with frustration, empty promises and needless markups.
