The Ivy Place

My husband and I couldn't have selected a better venue for our wedding day. The grounds of The Ivy Place are absolutely gorgeous. Our guests enjoyed walking the gardens during our cocktail hour and our ceremony under the large white oak tree was perfect. We used Lisa Wilson as our day of coordinator, who did an amazing job. The Graham's (home owners), were great as well. It truly was the best day ever, thanks to The Ivy Place.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property we knew we had to get married at The Ivy Place! The gardens are like walking through a fairytale- there are so many beautiful flowers and magical little nooks around every corner. The tent structure was perfect for protecting from the elements, but still gave the feeling of an outdoor reception. We also stayed in the cottage on the grounds, which was so convenient. Terry and Genie were so hospitable and kind and you can see all of the love they put into their property. Our guests enjoyed every minute at The Ivy Place!

If I could give the Ivy Place 10 stars I would. Lisa, their planner, is everything I could of asked for and more. The owners are wonderful people who truly take pride in what they do. And the venue is breathtaking. I would not of changed any single thing - it was like a fairytale!

The Ivy Place was the perfect setting for our big day! Having our ceremony and reception in one location was important to us in order to keep things simple for our guests and the Ivy Place offered that. There are multiple sites on the farm that you can choose for your ceremony site and the big white tent is elegantly decorated. The grounds are absolutely stunning year round. The Grahams, the owners of the Ivy Place, are a pleasure to work with maintain the highest standards for their venue as it is also their home.

Our wedding at the Ivy Place was April 30, 2016. Everything about it was MAGICAL!! It was all I ever wanted and more than I hoped for!! Just beautiful! The grounds and the gardens were exquisite! Our guests delighted in taking photos of themselves before and after the wedding. Special thanks to coordinator Lisa Wilson for all of her hard work coordinating the wedding as well as keeping up with the current weather radar conditions and having to herd all the guests along to the reception before the "monsoon!", haha!! The Ivy Place is truly a hidden gem. We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue to be married. The property is absolutely gorgeous, from the gardens, to the tent, to the multiple ceremony options. Not only is The Ivy Place the most beautiful location, the team is wonderful to work with. Lisa, their wedding planner, will do everything to make sure your wedding day is executed flawlessly. I did not worry about one single thing the entire day of because of Lisa's meticulous planning and expertise. Everything she touched, from the flowers to the centerpieces, to the table settings came out more beautiful than I imagined. Terry and Jeanie, the owners, were absolutely wonderful to work with and made sure our experience was everything we hoped for. We had our wedding guests all stay in Ballantyne and provided a bus to the venue- it was a short bus ride and worked perfectly! Highly recommend The Ivy Place!

I cannot express how much of a pleasure it was to work with The Ivy Place. From our first meeting to the end of our day, Terry, Genie and Lisa were a joy to work with and made us feel like a part of the family. Terry is an expert craftsman and has made nearly everything on the property. Genie, the magical gardener, helped to transform the grounds into a work of art. And Lisa, whom we called our "wedding fairy" made the job of planning a wedding with a bride who's family was far away as simple as possible. The Ivy Place will always have a special place in our hearts.

I was beyond pleased with using The Ivy Place as our wedding venue. The owner, Terry, was very easy to work with and made our experience a pleasant one. The onsite house is beautiful and the grounds are covered with flowers and plants, as well as old barns and open fields. We wanted an outdoor wedding with the rustic feel and that's exactly what we got! The tent he put up right before our wedding is stationary and he decorated it with burlap as well as a beautiful chandelier. The wedding was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. I would definitely recommend this venue to other couples looking for a venue for their wedding. Thanks Terry for everything you did for us! It was absolutely perfect in every way!

This venue is off the beaten path. It is beautiful no matter what time of year! There are many gardens and fields. The owners are beyond wonderful. They are down to earth people and were very nice and helpful through the whole process!
