First time at The James. Place was so beautifully decorated, staff was very sweet and accommodating, but my favorite was the manager Sean. He kept coming to our table asking if all was ok. Always with a smile. He was knowledgeable about the foo...
d and drinks, giving us some good advice on what to order. We tried the caviar pump for the first time and he instructed us on how to properly eat it. Food was super tasty and drinks were strong. We definitely will be coming back to visit Sean. He made this experience 10 times better. Thank you!

was spectacular. All of our guests loved the food and everyone felt attended to. Samantha, the event coordinator we worked with, was extremely helpful and very responsive whenever we had questions leading up to the big day and we greatly appreciated all of her help in making our day so special. We are so happy we went with The James! 10/10 recommend.

We hosted a baby shower at The James and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The space itself is beautiful—elegant, clean, and the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration.

on top of every detail without ever feeling intrusive. They made everything run so smoothly, which allowed us to actually relax and enjoy the day.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and all of our guests kept commenting on how much they loved both the atmosphere and the service.
It really felt like such a seamless, elevated experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend for any special event!

A huge shoutout to Samantha, our event coordinator, who did an outstanding job making sure everything ran smoothly. She was attentive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make the day special for our family.
If you’re looking for a venue to host a private event, look no further than The James. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

e decor is pleasing to the eye. Our waiter Michael was fantastic, knowledgeable, and never rushed us. The food was delicious, well portioned, and served quickly. We had the tuna appetizer, pork chop, steak frites, and key lime pie. Everything was on point. The pork chop was juicy, savory, and just the right amount of heat . The steak frites was extremly tender and well cooked. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch and a very uncommon practice in this era of nickel and diming customers for everything. We felt appreciated as patrons and that speaks volumes about the customer service. The James is the finest restaurant in Babylon and one of the finest restaurants in Long Island.
